Mission
To offer our participants, especially those
from low-income communities and those
at high risk of dropping out of school, the
motivation, inspiration, space, resources,
route and knowledge to take an interest in
educational careers in the STREAM
conglomerate, and to develop themselves
professionally and successfully for the 21st
century. In this way, we support the
eradication of school dropouts and
contribute to the technological future of
Puerto Rico and the world.
Vision
To transform alternative education by inspiring children, youth and adults in STREAM areas,
positioning ourselves as an organization with high values and commitment to our Puerto Rico by
offering quality training services and training in technologies, thus responding to the urgency of
an education that stands out for the quality and relevance of its intellectual and technical
production, for the value it places on the ethical conduct of its members and for the permanent
effort and commitment to respond to the changing realities of the national and international
environment.
Techno Inventors, Inc. is a non-profit organization established in Puerto Rico in 2012, that responds
to the need to improve education in science, technology, engineering, math, programming, digital
entertainment, creativity, innovation and the evolution of the Internet. We promote a successful
"hands-on", "minds-on" learning program applied to S.T.R.E.A.M. (science, technology, robotics,
engineering, arts and math) focused on students in grades K-12 and teachers throughout Puerto
Rico. Our program has a variety of services among which are offered: summer camps, Saturday
courses and after school programs to train teachers and students in S.T.R.E.A.M.-related
disciplines, including the development of challenging and innovative projects, which are carried
out throughout the year. We also carry out a STEM Professional Training Program for teachers in
Puerto Rico, through our STEM Education PR Division. Techno Inventors has been developed thanks
to a close alliance with the Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico (PUPR).
Our "hands-on", "minds-on" programs guarantee the learning and exposition of skills in areas
such as engineering, electricity, electronics, new technologies, applied science, robotics,
programming and mobile application design, among many others. We are firmly committed to
promoting the expansion and implementation of STREAM education, aware that it is the path to
the new workforce and global development. We have set standards in technology education by
integrating new techniques for teaching our students using innovative and fun applications and
tools that facilitate learning, promoting the acquisition and retention of what has been learned.
In the face of the challenges presented by globalization and the increasingly high educational
standards driven by technology and the knowledge economy, non-profit organizations like us
have come together to promote and strengthen the local academic curriculum based on an
educational model that allows future generations to have the tools they need to be
successful and competitive in the face of new trends in the areas of science,
mathematics and new technologies locally and internationally.
