andhaven’t been vaccinated, don’t worry, youcan stillmakeyourbooking.<br />

Everyone in Aotearoa NewZealand will be able to getthe vaccine–it’sfreeand there’senough vaccinefor everyone.<br />

With morethan2.5 millionpeopleagedunder 65,tomakethe process flowsmoothly, we’rebreaking it down by agebands.<br />

We’restarting withthe oldestand workingour waydowntothe youngest.<br />

Bookings will open soon to therest of Aotearoa in agebands,<br />

from oldest to youngest.Remember, onceyou’reeligible to be<br />

vaccinated, youcan bookatany time. There’s no cutoff.<br />

When it’s your time to book avaccination<br />

Step 1: Receiving an invitation<br />

When you’re eligible,you’llreceivealetter inviting youtobook<br />

at BookMyVaccine.nz.We’ll follow up with an email and text.<br />

Step 2: Make your booking<br />

Once you’ve received your invitation,orwhenyourage band is<br />

open, go to BookMyVaccine.nz to book yourappointments.<br />

If you’reunabletobookonline, youcan ring the COVIDVaccination<br />

Healthline on 0800 28 29 26 (8am to 8pm, 7days).We’ll makethe<br />

bookingforyou and answerany questions.Interpreters areavailable<br />

if youneed them.<br />

Youcan expect to have your firstvaccinationsix to eightweeks after<br />

youmakeyourbooking. Depending on whereand when you’dliketo<br />

be vaccinated, youmight find an appointmentearlier. You’ll need<br />

to leave at least threeweeks betweenyourfirstand second doses.<br />

Step 3: Getyour vaccination<br />

We’llsendareminderthe daybeforeeachappointment. It’s very<br />

importanttoget twodoses of thevaccine –thiswillgiveyou the<br />

best protection.<br />

Other ways to get vaccinated<br />

There areother ways to be vaccinated, including workplace<br />

vaccinations andother vaccinationeventsaroundthe country.<br />

In manyremote rural communities, we will vaccinateall agegroups<br />

at thesame time.<br />
