missed you! We‘ve particularly missed the personal<br />
contact with our guests – maybe because we‘re a<br />
family-run business ourselves. But now is the time to<br />

to do so more consciously, and to really treasure<br />
those precious moments that life throws at you.<br />
We‘re looking forward to heading straight out into<br />

MY VERY OWN LIVING ROOM<br />
My favourite places are the hotel bar and lounge. There‘s always<br />
something going on there, it really is where the Sonnalp life plays<br />
out. It‘s like my very own living room! I‘m often the last one at the<br />
end of the evening, and once the office finally closes up, I love<br />
sticking around for a natter with the guests and other colleagues<br />
at the bar. If not, then a gin and tonic as a nightcap, maybe. Now<br />
and then I‘ll also grab an espresso or a quick bite. Everything is<br />
totally close to hand – having a bar around is just so practical!<br />

THE BEST PLACE TO JUST SIT AROUND AND DO ... SOMETHING<br />
I love sitting around with my nearest and dearest, and<br />
obviously there‘s no better way to do that than over a<br />
great meal! Whenever we have family or friends over to<br />
visit, we usually head for the Stube, which is where<br />
everyone likes to sit most. Our team in the kitchen knows<br />
us so well, and love spoiling us with Sonnalp recipes.<br />
And on top of that, you can also see the reception, so you<br />
can even keep an eye on everything. That‘s win-win!<br />

WINE IS MY WORLD<br />
How could it possibly be any different? Talk to me about wine,<br />
and the conversation‘s just never going to end! The fact that<br />
we‘ve already extended the cellar, even adding a second<br />
warehouse, will be no great surprise to anyone who knows me.<br />
I like to keep hold of some of the more special labels. I also<br />
enjoy a good glass myself, particularly from the Italian wine<br />
region of Piedmont. I love to go down into the cellar with guests<br />
to open a good bottle. And by then, it really is only a matter of<br />
time before I find your new favourite wine!<br />

Pool<br />
WORK? FOR ME, IT‘S MORE OF A PLEASURE.<br />
When I‘m not out and about in the open air around the Latemar,<br />
then naturally enough, I‘m checking to make sure everything‘s<br />
working as it should be at the hotel. And that means also regularly<br />
inspecting the pool technology. But I also get to enjoy the pool<br />
myself outside the hotel operating hours, preferably everyday.<br />

You appreciate exquisite cuisine at the highest level?<br />
This year again, our culinary creations were awarded with<br />
3 Gault Millau toques. A truly remarkable achievement by<br />
ambitious head chef Martin Köhl and his young team! What<br />
makes our South Tyrolean cooking so unique? It combines<br />
exquisite flavours with Alpine touches and a dash of<br />
Mediterranean lightness. Regional creations, prepared in a<br />
sophisticated way and continuously re-interpreted. Delicious<br />
dishes from freshly sourced ingredients, provided by the<br />
Eggental farmers. Vegetables that have long been forgotten<br />
about are making a comeback, and our head chef is strict<br />
about using only selected meat and dairy products from<br />
local suppliers. The gourmet hotel Sonnalp – the perfect<br />
