Born out of love<br />
Our story begins in 2002 on Maui, the home of<br />
Ergobaby founder Karin Frost. Born in Denmark, she<br />
became a mother for the first time and wanted two<br />
things right from the start: to be close to her newborn<br />
son while remaining true to her active lifestyle. She<br />
knows that in this way she will build a wonderful<br />
bond with her baby.<br />

But the babywearing products available on the<br />
market did not meet the designer‘s requirements.<br />
She quickly designed her own baby carrier that<br />
meets her needs for closeness, ergonomics, comfort,<br />
and safety, yet is still very easy to use. A baby carrier<br />
that will quickly inspire other mothers around her.<br />

our products now make everyday life with baby easier<br />
for parents all over the world, we have remained true<br />
to our roots. So even today, every innovative step is<br />
still thought through, handcrafted, and tested in a<br />
first version by our chief designer Rodney in his small<br />
