sich über eine Gesamtfläche von 368,6 ha, auf der mehr als 700.000 Solarmodule auf

horizontalen Nachführsystemen montiert wurden. Jährlich werden mehr als 510.000 MWh

Strom produziert, was ausreicht, um den Bedarf von 196.000 Haushalten zu decken und

jährlich 230.000 t CO 2 -Emissionen einzusparen.

Delivery of four projects with a total capacity of 230 MWp for the Benban solar complex

with a total capacity of 1.8 GWp. The PV plants extend over a combined area of 368.6 ha, on

which more than 700,000 solar panels were mounted on horizontal tracking systems. Each

year over 510,000 MWh of electricity is produced, enough to supply the demand of

approximately 196,000 households and save 230,000 t of CO 2 emissions annually.

Production of vehicle license plates with security features for the vehicle registration in

Egypt by a joint venture between TÖNNJES and the ARAB ORGANISATION FOR

INDUSTRIALISATION. The factory will be equipped with the latest production technology

and also comprises an automatic robot-controlled embossing of number plates

(IDeRobots).

Production de plaques d'immatriculation de véhicules dotées de dispositifs de sécurité

pour l'immatriculation des véhicules en Égypte, par une coentreprise entre TÖNNJES et

l'ARAB ORGANISATION FOR INDUSTRIALISATION. L'usine sera équipée des dernières

technologies de production et comprendra également un système d'embossage

automatique des plaques d'immatriculation commandé par robot (IDeRobots).


Die Produktion soll Anfang November 2021 aufgenommen werden. Bis dahin werden die

Maschinen und Anlagen installiert und das lokale Personal von Experten der Firma

TÖNNJES geschult.

Zunächst sollen Kabineninterieurprodukte mit importierten Rohstoffen hergestellt

Initially, the cabin interior products are to be made with imported raw materials. However,

the aim is to certify leathers and fabrics produced in Ethiopia for the demanding

production process in the foreseeable future, thus further building and developing the

country's textile and leather industry.

Dans un premier temps, les produits d'intérieur de cabine seront fabriqués à partir de

matières premières importées. Toutefois, l'objectif est de certifier les cuirs et tissus produits

Kegna Beverages is an Ethiopian Share Company founded to become the leading

Ethiopian brewer of beer produced according to German quality standards. The brewery

is developed on a 100-ha site in Oromia Region and has an initial capacity of 3 million HL

beer per annum which places it amongst the largest and most modern breweries in Africa.

Brewtech has completed a bankable Duo Feasibility Study in 2019/20 defining the project

strategy. The entire project will be completed in less than 3 years and first beer is

expected in Q4 2022.

der Prüfungsaufgaben und beugt Betrugsversuchen vor.

National system for taking the central final exam via tablet or PC in the country's education

centres. Students register for the examination on the PC via facial recognition. This ensures

reliable assignment of the examination tasks and prevents attempts at cheating.

Système national permettant de passer l'examen final central via une tablette ou un PC

dans les centres d'enseignement du pays. Les élèves s'inscrivent à l'examen sur le PC par

reconnaissance faciale. Cela garantit une attribution fiable des tâches d'examen et

empêche les tentatives de tricherie.


Das System wird landesweit eingesetzt und ermöglicht pro Jahrgang ca. 800.000

Schülerinnen und Schülern das sichere Ablegen der Prüfung. Ziel der äthiopischen

Regierung ist es, die Qualität der schulischen Bildung landesweit zu verbessern. Zukünftig

soll das System pro Abschlussjahrgang bis zu 2,5 Mio. Äthiopierinnen und Äthiopiern die

digitale Prüfung ermöglichen.

The system is used nationwide and enables up to 800,000 students per year to take the

exam safely. The Ethiopian government's goal is to improve the quality of school education

nationwide. In the future, the system will enable up to 2.5 million Ethiopians per graduating

class to take the digital exam.

Ce système est utilisé dans tout le pays et permet à 800 000 élèves par an de passer

KALEB Services Farmers' House PLC is planning to establish the company GOBES in a

consortium with Kurt Köchlin GmbH and private investor Mr Markus Körner. It is to

assemble, maintain and operate buses for passenger transport in Ethiopia. A training

centre is to be built as well. The Facility Investing for Employment GmbH grants a subsidy

of 1 million euros.

sind. Das Gelände umfasst 15 Hektar Fläche: zwei Hektar werden von modernen

Gewächshäusern belegt, der Rest wird für Saatgutproduktion im Freiland und

Infrastruktur genutzt.

Investment to set up a production location for high value vegetable seeds with state-ofthe-art

greenhouses and facilities suitable for the year-round production of commercial

vegetable seeds for the crops tomato, cucumber and sweet pepper. The premises cover a

surface of 15 hectares: two hectares are occupied by modern greenhouses while the rest is

used for open-field seed production facilities and infrastructure.

Investissement pour la création d'un site de production de semences de légumes à forte

valeur ajoutée, doté de serres et d'installations ultramodernes adaptées à la production,

tout au long de l'année, de semences commerciales de légumes pour les cultures de

tomates, concombres et poivrons. Les locaux couvrent une surface de 15 hectares : deux

hectares sont occupés par des serres modernes tandis que le reste est utilisé pour des

Das Kraftwerk „Maria Gleta" in der Nähe der Stadt Cotonou ist seit 2019 vollständig in

Betrieb. Es versorgt das Stromnetz von Benin mit 127 MW elektrischer Leistung und deckt

damit 60 Prozent des Energiebedarfs des Landes. Die Anlage wird überwiegend mit

emissionsarmem Erdgas betrieben. Später soll das Kraftwerk auf eine Gesamtleistung von

400 MW erweitert werden.

The "Maria Gleta" power plant near the city of Cotonou has been fully operational since

2019. It supplies Benin's electricity grid with 127 MW of electrical power, covering 60 percent

of the country's energy needs. The plant is predominantly operated with low-emission

natural gas. Later, the power plant is to be expanded to a total capacity of 400 MW.

La centrale électrique "Maria Gleta", située près de la ville de Cotonou, est pleinement

opérationnelle depuis 2019. Elle alimente le réseau électrique du Bénin avec 127 MW

d'énergie électrique, couvrant 60 pour cent des besoins énergétiques du pays. La centrale

est principalement exploitée au gaz naturel à faible taux d'émission. Par la suite, la centrale

Nationales System zur Personalisierung und Lieferung der sogenannten CEDEAO Card

bzw. ECOWAS Card. Die ECOWAS Card ist ein vollwertiges Identifikationsdokument, das

die hohen ICAO-Vorgaben erfüllt und den grenzüberschreitenden Verkehr zwischen den

ECOWAS-Staaten vereinfacht. Die ID-Karte zählt dabei zu den sichersten

Identifikationsdokumenten in ganz Westafrika. Neben zahlreichen optischen

Sicherheitsmerkmalen sind auf der Karte auch biometrische Merkmale des

Karteninhabers gespeichert und können zur Echtheitsprüfung des Dokuments

herangezogen werden.

National system for the personalisation and delivery of the so-called CEDEAO Card or

ECOWAS Card. The ECOWAS Card is a fully-fledged identification document that meets

the high ICAO standards and simplifies cross-border traffic between the ECOWAS states.

The ID card is one of the most secure identification documents in the whole of West Africa.

In addition to numerous optical security features, biometric features of the cardholder are

also stored on the card and can be used to verify the authenticity of the document.

Un Système national pour la personnalisation et la délivrance de la carte dite CEDEAO Card

ou de la carte CEDEAO. La carte CEDEAO est un document d'identification à part entière

qui répond aux normes élevées de l'OACI et simplifie considérablement le trafic

transfrontalier entre les États de la CEDEAO. La carte d'identité est l'un des documents

d'identification les plus sûrs de toute l'Afrique de l'Ouest. En plus des nombreuses

caractéristiques de sécurité optiques, les caractéristiques biométriques du titulaire sont

également stockées sur la carte et peuvent être utilisées pour vérifier l'authenticité du

document.

Sysmex und das burkinische Gesundheitsministerium haben ein Kooperationsprojekt

gestartet, in dessen Rahmen Sysmex medizinische Geräte liefert und Schulungs- und

Ausbildungsprogramme für Biomedizintechniker und Ärzte in öffentlichen

Gesundheitslabors in Burkina Faso durchführt.

Sysmex and MoH Burkina Faso started a cooperation project whereby Sysmex supplies

medical equipment, training and educational programs for Biomedical Engineers and

Medical Doctors in public health laboratories throughout Burkina Faso.

Sysmex et le ministère de la Santé du Burkina Faso ont lancé un projet de collaboration

dans le cadre duquel Sysmex fournira des équipements médicaux et mènera des

programmes de formation et d'éducation pour les techniciens biomédicaux et les

médecins des laboratoires de santé publique dans tout le Burkina Faso.


Der erste Projektzeitraum wurde 2020 erfolgreich abgeschlossen und führte zu einer

erneuerten Vereinbarung für weitere drei Jahre. Die ursprünglichen Testbereiche

(Hämatologie und Urinanalyse) wurden um die Testprogramme Hämostase und Malaria

erweitert. Klinische Chemie und Sichelzelltests sind im Gespräch.

First project period was successfully concluded in 2020 and led into a renewed agreement

for another three years. Initial test areas (Haematology and Urinalysis) where now

expanded to included Haemostasis and Malaria test programs. Clinical Chemistry and

Sickle Cell testing is under discussion.

La première période du projet s'est achevée avec succès en 2020 et a donné lieu à un

accord renouvelé pour trois années supplémentaires. Les domaines de test initiaux

(hématologie et analyse d'urine) ont été élargis pour inclure les programmes de test de

and solar technology.

Aufbau einer Impfstoffproduktion: Mit technischer Beratung von Merck hat die GIZ eine

finanzielle und technische Machbarkeitsstudie für die Impfstoffherstellung in Ghana in

Auftrag gegeben und wird diese auch beaufsichtigen und finanzieren. Drei ghanaische

Pharmaunternehmen erörtern mit deutschen Ingenieurbüros das kurzfristige Ziel, die

Abfüllung von Impfstoffen in Glasfläschchen im mittleren Maßstab zu etablieren und

innerhalb von 18 Monaten eine größere Abfüll- und Endfertigungsanlage mit

fortschrittlicheren Technologien zu errichten.

Establishment of a vaccine production: With technical advice from Merck, the GIZ has

launched and will oversee and fund a financial and technical feasibility study for vaccine

manufacturing in Ghana. Three Ghanaian pharmaceutical companies are discussing with

German engineering firms the near-term goal of establishing mid-scale glass vial filling of

vaccines, and the goal within 18 months of a larger fill/finish facility using more advanced

technologies.

Mise en place d'une production de vaccins : Avec les conseils techniques de Merck, la GIZ

a lancé et va superviser et financer une étude de faisabilité financière et technique pour la

fabrication de vaccins au Ghana. Trois sociétés pharmaceutiques ghanéennes discutent

avec des sociétés d'ingénierie allemandes de l'objectif à court terme de la mise en place

d'une installation de remplissage de flacons en verre à moyenne échelle pour les vaccins,

The solution that CleanPower Generation GmbH is offering supplies 10 MW for the

administrative center of Boké, 22 MW for the Bauxite port town of Kamsar and 50 MW

connected to the regional, cross-border high voltage line OMVG, for export to neighboring

countries or local Guinean consumption.

The Concession Agreement has been signed during the G20 Compact with Africa summit in

2019, but has not advanced to a bankable contract ever since. It has been fully financed since

October 2020. The developer is continuing to work with the Government of Guinea in good

faith, as the project offers outstanding economic advantages over the current energy mix and

will generate jobs for engineers, as well as jobs in operation, security and management.

The project is located on the river Issen in the Taroudant Province close to the

Abdelmoumen reservoir. With two 175 MW pump turbines the pumped-storage power

plant Abdelmoumen will cover peak-load energy demands and provide rapid response

power to regulate the Moroccan grid.

APACK is a leading producer of woven PP bags in Senegal. The bags are mostly used for

agricultural goods (animal feed, corn, fertilizer, sugar, rice etc.). The project will finance the

expansion of the production capacities and the installation of a recycling unit and Solar

power energy.

APACK est l'un des principaux producteurs de sacs en PP tissé au Sénégal. Les sacs sont

principalement utilisés pour les produits agricoles (aliments pour animaux, maïs, engrais,

Stärkung der digitalen und analogen Infrastruktur des Gesundheitssektors in Senegal. Ein

besonderes Augenmerk des Projektes liegt auf der Schaffung von Arbeitsplätzen im

Gesundheitssektor durch die Ausbildung von Arbeitskräften sowie die Einführung von

digitalen Kommunikationsstandards und einer elektronischen Gesundheitsakte.

Im Industriepark Dianmiadio in der Nähe des neuen Hafens von Dakar entsteht ein neues

Werk mit zwei Fertigungslinien: dort sollen Wellpappenbögen zu fertigen Verpackungen

verarbeitet werden. Die Verpackungen sollen vor allem in der Landwirtschaft, außerdem

in der Fisch- und sonstigen Lebensmittelindustrie zum Einsatz kommen. Das Werk geht

mit einer Produktionskapazität von 4.000 Tonnen an den Start.

A new plant with two production lines is being built in the Dianmiadio industrial park near

the new port of Dakar: corrugated cardboard sheets are to be processed into finished

packaging. The packaging will be used primarily in agriculture, as well as in the fish and

other food industries. The plant will start with a production capacity of 4,000 tonnes.

Une nouvelle usine dotée de deux lignes de production est en cours de construction dans

le parc industriel de Dianmiadio, près du nouveau port de Dakar : les plaques de carton

ondulé seront transformées en emballages finis. L'emballage sera utilisé principalement

dans l'agriculture, ainsi que dans l'industrie du poisson et d'autres industries alimentaires.

L'usine commencera avec une capacité de production de 4 000 tonnes.


Die Produktionshalle ist bereits fertiggestellt. Der Produktionsstart ist für Sommer 2022

geplant.

The manufacturing facility has already been constructed. The start of production is

das EPC-Unternehmen TSK/Eranove. Der Grundstein des Gaskraftwerks wurde im Juni

2019 in Anwesenheit des togolesischen Präsidenten und des Premierministers gelegt.

Construction of a 65 MW gas-fired power plant. Siemens Energy is the technology provider

for the EPC company TSK/Eranove. The foundation of the gas-fired power plant was laid in

June 2019 in the presence of the Togolese President and Prime Minister.

technologie pour la société EPC TSK/Eranove. La fondation de la centrale à gaz a été posée

en juin 2019 en présence du président et du premier ministre togolais.

250.000 Haushalte mit Strom.

The gas-fired power plant produced its first electricity in 2020 and supplies around 250,000

households with electricity.
