Hot pools open in amonth<br />
Covid lockdown and supply chains<br />
issues have further delayed the<br />
opening of Methven’s Opuke Thermal<br />
Pools and Spa untilmidNovember.<br />
Thefacility planned to be open<br />
originally for the start of this year’s<br />
winter season.<br />
TheOpuke experience will offer<br />
family hotpools, akids’ aqua play<br />
zone with crazy river and leapoffaith<br />
plunge pool, adultexclusivehot<br />
pools that include cold plunge pools<br />
and sauna,private pools, and afullyequipped<br />
spa facility with arange of<br />
therapies.<br />

One Ninety Nine cafeindowntown<br />
<strong>Ashburton</strong> is helping to boost the<br />
fundingcoffers of Plunket one drink<br />
at atime.<br />
Cafe owners Gareth and Jamie<br />
Cadoganare donating 10 cents to<br />
Plunket from every drink sold from<br />
today until Saturday.<br />
The Cadogans, who have four<br />
children all past Plunket babies,<br />
were also hosting aDunk it for<br />
Plunket <strong>Ashburton</strong> morningtea<br />
today,with Plunket volunteer<br />
Carolyn Rai.<br />
The cafe has aquiet back room for<br />
mumstocomfortablybreastfeed<br />
their babies or for children to play<br />
and is accessed by the alley between<br />
Stoked Cycles and the MSA.<br />
Howeverfor those people unable<br />
to make the event or drop in for a<br />
drink duringthe three day<br />
fundraiser, donations can be made<br />
