The Montverde Academy Athletics brand identity is built on a cohesive system of marks, including a primary
logo, secondary logo, word marks, and sport-specific variations. This guide outlines the proper usage
of each component within the identity system to ensure a consistent and unified brand presence across
all applications.
Reproduction and/or redistribution of this material by any
means and in any format is expressly prohibited without
prior written permission. In accordance with copyright
laws of the United States (Title 17 U.S. Code), copyright
protection exists whether or not a specific copyright
mark (©) and/or copyright notice actually appears on the
material. Where permission to reproduce certain material
is granted, such permission is specifically stated.
However, no materials may be reproduced or distributed
under any circumstances for any commercial purpose.

Official Color Information
The color specifications for Montverde Academy Eagle’s brand identity are provided here. To ensure accurate color reproduction, always refer to the Pantone ®
Matching System number, as computer monitors and screens may display colors inconsistently due to varying calibration.
Black, gray, dark purple, and light gold are not primary colors for Montverde Academy and should only be used in specific one-color applications or as uniform
colors. Any use of black, light gold, or dark purple—whether in imprinting, embroidery, or as uniform colors—must be approved by the Director of
Athletic Operations and/or the Marketing and Communications Department before proceeding with an order.

The MVA and Eagles word marks must always appear as solid, one-color marks in either purple or
gold, with the exception of variations 007 and 008 (as shown above).
• No patterns, gradients, or images may be applied to the word marks.
• Word mark color should be chosen based on the background to ensure clarity and contrast.
• When pairing a word mark with sport-specific typography, the approved lockup configuration
must be maintained.
• Only the lockups shown above and those listed below are permitted.
• No internal department names or other entities may be combined with the word mark
under any circumstances.

To preserve the integrity and consistency of all Montverde Academy Sports
Academy logos and word marks, the following modifications are strictly prohibited.
Logos must not be altered, reconstructed, or used in any way outside of the
approved guidelines.
Do not:
• Place the logo on patterned or photographic backgrounds
• Place the logo over a gradient background
• Skew, stretch, distort, or warp the logo in any way
• Crop or bleed the logo off the page or canvas
• Tilt or rotate the logo
• Use colors other than official MVA colors (refer to page 4)
• Apply different treatments (color, effect, texture) to separate elements of the logo
• Rearrange, resize, or reposition any parts of the logo
• Place additional words or graphics near the logo that could be perceived as
part of it

Clear space for all Montverde Academy logos and marks
Montverde Academy logos and marks (this includes athletic and co-curricular)
have established clear zones. These are intended to maintain their integrity
and avoid visual confusion. No other type or graphic element (including folds,
trims, or edges) should fall within the minimum clear zones shown.

The general rule for clear space is that all logos and marks must
have a clear zone that equals 1/3" of the height of the logo.
