Remember, Remember..
..the 6th of November. That’s when the Rotary Club
of St Helens will be organising the Rainford Bonfire
and Fireworks event after a hiatus in 2020 due to the
uncertainty caused by the pandemic.
Advanced tickets, priced at £5 each, are on sale now at
Rainford News & Gifts, REDS Cafe and Wendy’s Flowers
and, because of the anticipated demand, buying tickets
is highly recommended by the organisers. Children
under the age of five go free.
As usual, the event is being held on Rainford Parish
Church field, near the Cricket Club off Church Road in
Rainford.
There will be various stalls open on the night, providing
refreshments options to suit all the family, and there will
be several children’s fun rides in operation.
The gates open at 4.30pm, the bonfire will be lit at
6.30pm and the fireworks start at 7pm.
The Rotary Club will be assisted on the night by
Rainford Scouts, and the sponsors of the event are
Communications Plus O2 and Palletland.
