U.S. Marines live by a set of enduring
core values that form the bedrock
of their character. These values
guide their actions and bolster their
resolve. Honor, courage and commitment
lead them to victory over
physical, mental and moral battles.
Realtor Bobby Baldor lives by
these values.
Baldor, 45, is a U.S. Marine
Corps veteran and Florida native
with more than 17 years of combined,
award-winning experience
in real estate and mortgage lending
in Central Florida. As a Realtor,
Baldor attributes his success, in part,
to showing up every day and being
accountable.
“The Marine Corps [instills] discipline,
personal accountability and
pride in oneself, which has translated
to my personal success,” Baldor
said.
All Realtors are independent contractors,
not employees. Agents who
maintain successful careers do so by
displaying integrity and transparency,
maintaining consistent and
open communication, and dealing
in good faith with every client they
represent and every agent they work
with. Baldor said this commitment “is
instilled at the basic levels of military
training.”
However, it takes more than being
a good, moral individual to
earn the title of Best of Southwest
Orlando Realtor seven years in a
row. For Baldor, it takes creating a
partnership with his clients and other
agents alike, charging forward with
a shared goal of a positive outcome
with “no surprises or drama.”
A broker associate and three-time
Icon agent with eXp Realty, Baldor
deploys the highest level of training,
tools, technology and support to ensure
an accomplished mission. Those
tools, accompanied with experience,
are the reason newer agents
choose to partner with Baldor in a
mentorship program that offers a
combination of continuing education
and training with real-life implementation
under direct guidance and
supervision.
“The goal is to give every agent
I mentor the knowledge, skills, resources
and confidence needed to
be independently successful and in
keeping with the highest standards
expected to serve our community,”
Baldor said.
Baldor is also proud to give back
to his community. He coached
youth sports when his three children
were younger and is a Partner
in Education with Orange County
Public Schools. He and his wife,
Halle, work with animal rescue
groups and have adopted/fostered
and donated to several organizations
with the mission to give animals
a permanent home. Another
charity close to their hearts is one
that raises awareness and money
for juvenile Type 1 diabetes, named
Bobby’s Bandits after their eldest
son, Bobby, who was diagnosed
with the illness at age 9.
Baldor holds a Florida real estate
broker’s license with designations as
a graduate, Realtor Institute (GRI);
accredited buyer representative
(ABR); certified short sale professional
(CSP); a Florida military specialist
(FMS), and one of the few real
estate collaboration specialists —
divorce (RCS-D) in Central Florida.
These advanced designations denote
expertise in financial, market
and investment analysis in addition
to negotiation. He is considered an
expert in his field with experience in
court testimony.
Baldor says he fared
better than many during
the COVID-19
pandemic.
“During lockdown,
one’s home became
so much more to
them,” he said. “The
residence became
an office, gym, classroom
and compelled
homeowners to seek
residences that had
room for all the extra
activity.”
Interest rates also
reached historic lows,
which allowed for
greater affordability.
That, coupled with
a decreased supply
of homes, created a
strong seller’s market.
“In Central Florida,
the real estate market
was and continues to be a national
hotbed of activity as buyer demand
remains strong,” Baldor said.
“The agents with [the] experience,
network and skills to navigate the
market experienced higher levels of
success than in normal markets.”
Florida is the nation’s No. 1 state
for licensed real estate agents. Texas
and California follow.
“In a competitive market with so
many agents to choose from, it is
imperative that the public pick an
agent who is a local member of the
community and understands how to
navigate this crazy market to best
represent them,” Baldor said. “As a
top agent in Central Florida with a
five-star customer service designation,
it is what sets me apart from the
competition.”
No matter whether you are looking
to buy or sell, Bobby Baldor has
what it takes to get the job done.
