n Living Local campaign
launched
The city of Winter Garden
launched a Living Local campaign
to encourage local participation
and support of one’s hometown. The
n Fundraiser to benefit Pet
Alliance of Greater Orlando
Pet Supermarket’s annual Thanks
for Giving fundraiser returns Nov.
1 through Nov. 24. In its fifth year,
the campaign will shift to a monetary
fundraiser, departing from the pet
food drive of past years, to allow the
benefiting shelters to dedicate funds
where most-needed this holiday
season.
From the start of November through
the day before Thanksgiving, Pet
Supermarket customers will be encouraged
to donate a dollar amount
of their choosing when making an
in-store purchase. These funds will
be evenly split among 10 shelters
and rescues in the Pet Supermarket
service area, providing homeless
animals with the care they deserve
around the holidays. One of the
chosen shelters is Pet Alliance of
Greater Orlando.
Pet Supermarket stores will continue
to house donation bins where
customers can drop off canned pet
food and other items for their storedesignated
community shelters.
