RGL recommended <strong>the</strong>ir robotic <strong>scabbl<strong>in</strong>g</strong> package which<br />
gives excellent control whilst delivery a consistent f<strong>in</strong>ish.<br />
Us<strong>in</strong>g our vacuum recovery “Limpet blast heads “<strong>the</strong> waste<br />
<strong>concrete</strong> <strong>and</strong> water were simultaneously recovered for<br />
environmentally friendly disposal. This recovery system is an<br />
essential technology to employ when spray <strong>and</strong> debris must<br />
be conta<strong>in</strong>ed <strong>and</strong>/or <strong>the</strong> surround<strong>in</strong>g environment is sensitive.<br />
Water Jet <strong>scabbl<strong>in</strong>g</strong> does not create percussive vibration<br />
<strong>the</strong>refore, no micro cracks are caused <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> structure or adjo<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g<br />
build<strong>in</strong>gs. Fur<strong>the</strong>rmore, this lack <strong>of</strong> vibration ensures a<br />
zero risk <strong>of</strong> HAVS (H<strong>and</strong> Arm Vibration) issues for operators.<br />

Deploy<strong>in</strong>g <strong>the</strong> robotic solution allowed RGL to complete <strong>the</strong> job <strong>in</strong> half <strong>the</strong> time with<br />
half <strong>the</strong> water that would be required us<strong>in</strong>g traditional h<strong>and</strong> lance methods. The<br />
technology delivers a uniform f<strong>in</strong>ish whilst remov<strong>in</strong>g <strong>the</strong> risks associated with h<strong>and</strong><br />
held <strong>UHP</strong> water jett<strong>in</strong>g.<br />
F<strong>in</strong>ally, once <strong>the</strong> water has been recovered it was treated <strong>and</strong> disposed <strong>of</strong> <strong>in</strong> a safe,<br />
