Richard House Care Home combines modern design
with comfortable living and is the first care home in
Grantham for the Tanglewood Group.
Richard House is a home away from home for our residents
and specialises in 24-hour residential, dementia, respite and
palliative care.
We are proud of our highly trained team who are selected
to join us for their kindness, compassion, and commitment
to others. The dedication of our staff has brought national
recognition leading to Tanglewood Care Homes winning
multiple care awards.
At Richard House we understand that moving into a care
home can be a difficult decision and we are on hand to help
you every step of the way. Our experienced teams are able
to offer support and guidance in all aspects of care and help
make the transition as smooth as possible.

Situated in
Richard House is located on
the Gorse Road in Grantham.
Grantham is a popular market
town straddling the London–
Edinburgh East Coast Main
Line and the River Witham.
Grantham is known as the birthplace
of the UK’s first lady Prime Minister,
Margaret Thatcher, for educating
Isaac Newton at the King’s School,
and being the workplace of the
UK’s first female police officer, Edith
Smith in 1914.
Importantly Grantham also made the
UK’s first running diesel engine in
1892 and tractor in 1896.
Richard House is close to many
local amenities, green spaces and
local wildlife and has easy access
to the A1. The town has excellent
attractions, including the National
Trust Property Belton House, and
Belton Woods hotel & golf course.

House provide the ideal setting
for residents to enjoy time with
friends and family. In keeping with
Tanglewood’s ethos, guests are
welcome any time - there are no
restrictions on visiting hours.

Richard House is a Luxury 68 bed care home and
is part of the Tanglewood Group who have been
Caring for Lincolnshire since 1989.

Richard House has multiple social areas where you can catch
up with other residents or friends and family. However, if
you would rather spend time in the tranquillity of your own
room, then that’s fine by us.
