We pride ourselves on being a one-stop-shop for

desserts and sweet treats. If you are looking for new

items for your menu, we have something for you; from

familiar national favourites (done particularly well) to

new concepts that turn heads and light up Instagram.

We understand the challenge of running busy kitchens

and aim to make your lives easier. Many of our desserts

are ready to plate and serve, already beautifully finished

and in perfect even portions. We also offer a range of

garnishes, pastry cases, fillings and sauces for chefs to

assemble and decorate desserts themselves.

Our vegan and gluten free ranges are amongst our

proudest achievements. We start with the basic

philosophy that desserts should be a pleasure for all – so

our chefs make sure all vegan and gluten free products

pack the same incredible flavours and perfect textures as

traditional dessert recipes.

Group. Headquartered in France the group pulls together

the expertise of different artisanal producers of desserts

and ice-creams with operations spanning France,

Portugal, Spain, UK and the USA. This gives Destiny

Foods the opportunity to add some truly special French

specialities to our range.

vehicles and dedicated drivers with years of experience

Artisan roots

The CDD story starts with a tiny ice cream producer in

the South West of France, Le Glaçon des Corbières,

making Ice-cream to traditional methods supplying

restaurants around Carcassonne and Bèziers. From its

inception, the company has maintained a dedication

to become a specialist supplier of quality products to

the restaurant trade.

Today La Compagnie des Desserts Group is a collection

of six complimentary dessert manufacturers spanning

France, Spain, UK and the USA. The group has a wealth

of combined expertise, united behind a common goal

of creating moments of pleasure through the knowledge

of what makes a truly excellent dessert. The group now

supplies around 14,000 restaurants and other hospitality

businesses around the world from tiny independents to

large multinational groups.

Knowledge

From babas to chocolate fondants, tartes tatins, eclairs

and macarons, products are still made to traditional

“home-made” techniques and always hand finished and

decorated. To this day the base cream and syrup blends

for ice-cream are made in house using techniques for

blending and infusing flavours handed down from our

Maîtres Glaciers.

Innovation is never ending at CDD and the group releases

a range of new products twice per year.

With foundations in the great classics of French

pastisserie, chefs invent new modern creations playing

with flavour, texture and shape with some truly original

artistic products to really stand out on menus.

Dedication to quality in everything

Good flavour starts with great ingredients. CDD prides

itself on the strong provenance of its premium raw

materials including sourcing milk from a single farm

in the foothills of the Pyrenees for premium fresh milk

ice-creams as well as long-standing relationships with a

fruit growing co-operative in the Rhône valley supplying

the best quality products for ice cream and sorbet that

boast far higher fruit content and less sugar than rival

products.

Introducing Philippe Urraca, MOF

Philippe Urraca joined La Compagnie des Desserts in

2011 as Executive Pastry Chef and Technical Director.

Philippe holds an esteemed title of Un des Meilleurs

Ouvriers de France (MOF) for patisserie. An honour

in French gastronomy and other traditional crafts

awarded to a select few masters of their trade able to

pass rigorous assessment once every 4 years. Philippe

remains very active in the development of new

innovative desserts and beautiful works of patisserie and

providing guidance for product development across the

group.

Cheesecake – Baked or Cold Set?

Cheesecakes are a Destiny Foods speciality. Getting the right flavour and crunch in

the base as well as the perfect balance of tangy cream cheese and sweetness in the

cheesecake mix is something we pride ourselves on. We produce a great variety of

flavours in both cold set and baked cheesecakes at our headquarters in Manchester.

Our baked cheesecakes have a firmer texture and slightly richer flavour than the

smooth and delicate cold set cheesecakes, but we love them equally!

from our sister company Pole Sud in the South of France. Tubs

are supplied in standard 2.5litre tubs, large 5litre tubs or special

display tubs of 6 litres with great visual presentation for customers.

With over 50 years heritage of Ice-cream making in the South of

France, Pole Sud still makes ice-cream and sorbets to traditional

methods, using expertise passed down through the company

over decades.

Our traditional production process and quality raw materials allow

us to create intense natural flavours with higher fruit content and

less sugar than the market standard.

Ice Cream & Sorbets

Pole Sud creates 1,500 bespoke original flavours per year,

developed especially for restaurant partners who trust Pole Sud

and the quality associated with La Compagnie des Desserts brand

to bring original ideas to life including savoury ice cream favours

such as crayfish, avocado, and black truffle.

Our catalogue range is kept in stock for all customers. It is possible

to order from a wider range of flavours (or even create your own!)

Deliveries

We can deliver direct to your preferred location on selected delivery days,

typically twice per week. Deliveries are made free of charge if minimum

order quantities are achieved. Orders can be processed for the next day

if placed by 2:30pm*
