Manual bypass<br />

The external manual bypass unit serves to connect the <strong>UPS</strong>, e.g. <strong>for</strong> ma<strong>in</strong>tenance purposes<br />

with simultaneous cont<strong>in</strong>ued un<strong>in</strong>terruptible supply <strong>for</strong> the connected consumers. As well as<br />

Relay card<br />

The relay card <strong>in</strong> slot-<strong>in</strong> design <strong>for</strong> the <strong>UPS</strong> series PROTECT B./C./1./1.M displays collective fault<br />

signals through volt free contacts, <strong>in</strong>clud<strong>in</strong>g power fail, WR and bypass operation.<br />

SNMP (PRO) adapter<br />

The SNMP adapter allows <strong>UPS</strong> systems to be supervised via Web or WAP.<br />

A graduated shutdown of all relevant servers on the network is possible if necessary.<br />

Through the Wake-up-on-LAN, the server can also be restarted.<br />

This means that automatic SHUTDOWN and REBOOT of the system is possible.<br />

As well as these features on the adapter, the <strong>UPS</strong> can also be supervised through <strong>in</strong>tegrated<br />

SNMP agent by network management software, such as HP-OpenView, SunNetManger or<br />

another NMS. The PRO variation of the SNMP adapter also allows <strong>in</strong>corporation of the access<br />

control of the room, air condition<strong>in</strong>g and a smoke and fire alarm. In addition, temperatures<br />

and air humidity can be measured by us<strong>in</strong>g a special environment manager and be processed<br />

<strong>in</strong> the SNMP PRO adapter.<br />

Load switch<br />

This compact module as a supplement to the SNMP PRO adapter allows <strong>in</strong>telligent load<br />

management through the <strong>UPS</strong> monitor, web browser or network management software<br />

<strong>for</strong> <strong>UPS</strong> systems.<br />

Temperature sensor<br />

The digital temperature sensor is directly connected to the SNMP PRO adapter.<br />

The sensor is ma<strong>in</strong>ly used <strong>in</strong> server cab<strong>in</strong>ets or to supervise rooms.<br />

The <strong>in</strong>stallation and configuration are both user-friendly.<br />
