A Chinese Buyer decided to import Chicken
Paws from a Brazilian supplier using
Documentary Credit as a payment term. Since
they didn’t had enough cash funds to provide
as margin money, they can’t able to raise LC
from their bank.

We Played
To open a LC at Sight, the buyer contacted us
with their request. We signed the service
agreement with the client and started working
on their Chicken Paws import deal with our
bank. After the receipt of required charges &
other documents, we provided the required
Documentary Letter of Credit from our bank on
behalf of the Chinese buyer and in favor of the
Brazilian supplier.

With the issued Documentary Letter of
Credit, the Chicken Paws deal between the
Chinese buyer and the Brazilian supplier
