Patented best-in-class solution from the technology leader
Cartridge valves, also known as 2/2-way valves or
logic elements, are industrial hydraulic valves used
for directional, pressure, check and flow control.
These cartridge valves have a compact design that
can be used in hydraulic manifold systems for many
types of industrial and mobile machinery. These
products are ideal for applications that require high
flow rates and leakage-free control.

AXXERON Hydrolux control blocks can be combined
with high-performance built-in servo valves,
servo valves, hydraulic power units (HPU), test controls
and hydraulic actuators.
QUALITY AND
RELIABILITY
MODULAR DIE CUSHION SYSTEMS
The modular die cushion system from AXXERON
Hydrolux consists of a main cylinder with an integrated
position measuring system, accumulators, a hydraulic
unit and several control blocks. In addition, there are
software libraries and the hardware components of
the control unit.
The die cushion control block is flanged directly to
the cylinder and is connected to the main hydraulic
accumulators via a separate adapter distributor. This
creates a compact, self-contained hydraulic system
that enables highly dynamic control. The control is
realized with the system via separate hardware and
software modules. The software of the modular die
cushion system can reduce force overshoots and
realize customer-specific forceprofiles in the process
with high precision.

Schneider Sevohydraulics GmbH has been a
specialized manufacturer of single-stage and multistage
piston spool valves of the highest precision
and quality since the 1960s.
The servo valve is the heart of every
electro-hydraulic control system. Compliance
with the static and dynamic characteristic values
requires devices of the highest quality. The
piston spool valves in single-stage and multi-stage
versions meet these criteria perfectly thanks to
100% quality control.

Our servo valve range includes valves in one-, two- and three-stage versions in the flow range
from 0.4 to 1000 l/min. In addition to the comprehensive standard range, we also supply many
application-specific valve designs such as special characteristic curves, low-leakage pistons,
two return edges or highly dynamic valves.

We supply a wide range of special valves with the

• Valves with very low flow rate for precise positioning < 0.4 l/min

With the HAZ 148, developed by Schneider Servohydraulics,
our mechanical and plant engineering
customers gain an important component that is
needed, for example, when operating steam turbines
in order to effectively prevent system-damaging
speeds.
SAFETY AS A TOP PRIORITY
Machine protection also always means occupational
safety for the machine operator. This applies to
both: effective and reliable protection saves costs
and avoids consequential damage. For this reason,
fail-safe functions are activated in machines and systems
in the event that the normal control and safe
operation no longer work.
The HAZ 148 quick-closing cylinder ensures the safe
shutdown of turbines within a very short time in the
event of a quick shutdown, so that people and machinery
are not harmed.

LIGHTWEIGHT CONSTRUCTION
PREVENTS CONNECTION BREAKS
The quick-closing cylinder from Schneider Servohydraulics
is, due to the extensive use of aluminum,
weighs about 75 kg, or less than half as much as its
predecessor. Short maintenance times were also taken
into account during development. Without having
to completely dismantle the cylinder, the outer
seal package can be easily replaced.
SERVOMOTION FOR LOW-PRESSURE
HYDRAULICS
The quick closing cylinder can be used across all industries.
Wherever valves require quick actuation,
e.g. for process interruption in the chemical industry
or in small power stations with steam turbines,
quick-closing cylinders are required. The HAZ 148
is a very fast-acting actuator with high forces. It has
a closing time of < 300 ms with a total stroke of 65
mm. The spring closing force is an impressive 23,000
N. Despite the high closing speed, the product only
has a small ½” connection line with a nominal pressure
of 8 bar.

it is checked and serviced after a certain period
of operation. For this purpose, we have our own

EtherLab is usually used with EtherCAT, the open
real-time Ethernet. EtherCAT offers high bandwidths and
synchronization accuracy in the nanosecond range. This
means that in addition to control and regulation tasks,
sophisticated measurement tasks can also be implemented.
The free network topology (any combination of line,
star, tree, ring) gives the user great flexibility in terms of
design and subsequent changes.
Due to the relatively low hardware costs, EtherCAT is
also suitable for applications with lower performance
requirements.
Real-time control
To develop your real-time controller, you can either use C/
C++ or our open source toolkit for MATLAB® Simulink.
This contains numerous blocks for the I/O modules of
various manufacturers, which you can configure graphically.
The graphical programming of your application also
simplifies communication with other team members.
All EtherLab components are provided under
open source licenses (GPL/LGPL). This offers
investment security, (hardware) independence and
customizability - now and in the future. Developers
