Stories, music, rhymes, and finger plays are used to encourage
children to discover and explore the world around them. Themes
change weekly and activities follow.
All library locations host a weekly storytime.

The Learn With Us Bus, a service from the St. Charles Parish Public
Schools Family Centers, is a unique addition to our storytime
at the Paradis Branch. Climb on the bus to join a playgroup
complete with toys, books, games, and more.
The Learn With Us Bus visits the Paradis Branch on the first and
third Tuesdays of each month.
Special Storytimes
We also offer storytimes for older children, in the evenings, and
on Saturdays.
Bring the family for Pajama Stories at the East Regional Library in
Destrehan on Wednesday, February 9 at 6:00pm to cozy up with
new stories, songs, and an activity! Pajamas are encouraged but
not required.

a reading and discussion series
for adults at www.myscpl.org.
The Norco Branch hosts a monthly Puppet Stories, where you
watch a puppet show and then make your own puppet! This
month’s Puppet Stories is Monday, February 21 at 6:00pm for
ages 0 to 8. Registration is required at bit.ly/myscplPuppetStories
Join the fun! Dance and shout! Come get your wiggles out at
the East Regional Library during Wiggle Stories on Saturday,
February 19 at 11:00am. For ages 0 to 8.
