Our World – Our Magazine "How does your world look right now?" & "What makes you you?" & How would you visualize it on 2 pages? With your art, with own words and with the help of a theoretical position. We discussed with Stuart Hall, Jack Halberstam, Donna Haraway, Edward Said, Michel Foucault; about the concept of culture, the role of language, images and games. The challenges of representation, situated knowledges & thinking within a community and cultures and at the same time about the questions of individuality and being an artists. My hope, goal and method was for them to connect with their art, their culture_s and with the outside world - starting with themselves and their colleagues in the seminar. …So many thoughts, emotions, reflections from amazing and brave students - rising and struggling during Covid-times went into this magazine. When I see the work of my classmates, I feel some darkness or sadness in their work. (I feel the same way when designing magazines) But there are other people whose work is really colorful and fun. Even though the process was tough, it was really great working as a team. I really appreciate this class. Very happy to meet all of you!"
