Dubai Art Season returns with<br />
a mix of artistic and cultural events<br />

Chairperson of Dubai<br />
Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai<br />
Culture), <strong>the</strong> Authority announced<br />
that dur<strong>in</strong>g <strong>February</strong> and March,<br />
<strong>the</strong> Dubai Art Season (DAS) <strong>2022</strong><br />
will host a unique mix of artistic and<br />
cultural events.<br />
The <strong>the</strong>me for this year’s edition<br />
is ‘Take a Walk on <strong>the</strong> Art Side,’<br />
which will transform Dubai <strong>in</strong>to<br />
an ‘open art display’ that enables<br />
citizens, residents, and visitors to<br />
enjoy outstand<strong>in</strong>g experiences. The<br />
presence of artists from <strong>the</strong> UAE,<br />
<strong>the</strong> region, and around <strong>the</strong> world at<br />
<strong>the</strong>se events is expected to add to<br />
<strong>the</strong> emirate’s burgeon<strong>in</strong>g cultural<br />
scene.<br />
DAS <strong>2022</strong> will host a two-monthlong<br />
arts and cultural festival, which<br />
will kick off with <strong>the</strong> Emirates Airl<strong>in</strong>e<br />

Festival of Literature, which will take<br />
place at Al Habtoor City Hotels from<br />
3 to 13 <strong>February</strong> <strong>in</strong> conjunction<br />
with Dubai Culture. The Festival will<br />
beg<strong>in</strong> with an ‘Emirati Cultural Day,’<br />
which will highlight <strong>the</strong> diversity of<br />
Emirati literature.<br />
Dubai Art Season is a<br />
comprehensive annual artistic<br />
celebration that br<strong>in</strong>gs toge<strong>the</strong>r<br />
a variety of creative events and<br />
activities <strong>in</strong> public spaces, as<br />
well as external art projects,<br />
<strong>in</strong>teractive <strong>in</strong>itiatives, workshops,<br />
exhibitions, discussion sessions,<br />
and perform<strong>in</strong>g arts, through which<br />
Dubai Culture aims to encourage<br />
participation and make culture and<br />
arts accessible to everyone and<br />
everywhere, as well as support<strong>in</strong>g<br />
and empower<strong>in</strong>g promis<strong>in</strong>g talent,<br />
and cement<strong>in</strong>g Dubai’s cultural<br />
