Annual Report 2021

President’s Report
2021 was a good year for the Museum overall.
The Museum collected over $10,000 in through Canada Helps,
general donations and membership donations.
Considering the wild fires and Covid-19 the Museum had a a
good visitor turn-out with just over 400 individual visitors this
year and a bus tour in early October 2021.
The highlight of the year was the publishing and sales of the new
book "Behind the Gold", a collection of Norm Gronskei’s stories.
Collection Management work has continued this year with
some very important documents being donated to the
Museum.
Visitors continued to be extremely engaged when shown
exactly how the pioneers came into the Bridge River Valley
with a demonstration using maps and historical information.
And mining claims are a very popular topic of conversation.
The Heritage Committee is continuing to work on the relocation
of the Bralorne-Pioneer Museum to the Bralorne- Pioneer Mines
Office Building.
