….... a word from our President
Our February meeting was very well attended. It is great to see everyone. It always seems like I'm
busy before the meeting and don't have time to chat with many of you. The majority of the meeting
was spent going over the recent runs and the planned events coming up. Looks like this year will
be an active one for the club.
We have a great new board dedicated to making the club experience enjoyable for everyone. All
of them have a lot of experience in the club and I'm learning all I can from them. Every member
is welcome to attend a board meeting. Just let me know ahead of time. It's not all business. We
have fun too !
A thank you to Mike H. for continuing to run the raffle, and to Freida, the former ticket seller.
Stephanie is now selling the raffle tickets. Also, thank you Linda for continuing with Sunshine
news and Chuck who also continues to act as our Sergeant of Arms. A special thanks to all who
donate raffle prizes. Also, a big thank you to Charlie and Mike Lebda for their dedication as
newsletter editor. Everyone mentioned really help support our club.
Looking forward to seeing many of you on my spring foothill run to El Cid restaurant and Reimer's
Ice Cream. It's always a nice drive while the foothills are still green.
Your President,
Jeff

CENTRAL VALLEY CORVETTES
EVENTS CALENDAR
MARCH 2022
We had a great February Meeting. It was great to see so many of you come to the meeting.
Our first event hosted by Debbie and I was to the Triangle Drive-In on January 29, 2022, we had 25 cars and 47
people join us. Great food, beautiful cars and great fellowship. Mike and Mary Lou’s Super Bowl Party was a
roaring success with 51 members attending. Again we had great food (this club knows how to cook) Margaritas by
Julie, dominoes, and the Football game, everyone had a good time.
We have a couple of Car Shows on the calendar and a run by President Jeff and the First Lady Stephanie for a
mountain drive and dinner at El Cid Mexican Restaurant. We are participating in the Clovis Parade, Larry and
Janet King are hosting two runs. The Never Too Late President’s Run hosted by Mike and Mary Lou is March 28
through April 1 st . Mike says there is room if you want to go but let him know right away. A Progressive Dinner run
is planned by the Sons, Linsner’s and Lori Dukes coming up in May.
BUT WHAT WE REALLY NEED ARE SOME LUNCH or DINNER RUNS. They really are the easiest type of run to
do and Debbie and I will help you. Pick your favorite restaurant in your favorite town, find an open date and let’s
put it on the schedule. Don’t forget the monthly Corvettes and Coffee event hosted by the Mountain Corvettes.
