All Levels Yoga<br />

9 to 10 a.m. | The Homestead<br />

This class is suitable for all levels of<br />

yoga practice. The class moves at a<br />

slow to moderate pace and offers<br />

modifications so participants can<br />

customize the class to fit their specific<br />

needs. Teachers focus on alignment<br />

and breathing techniques to safely<br />

stretch and strengthen students.<br />

Please bring a yoga mat, towel and<br />

Strength and Balance<br />

This class is designed to work on<br />

strengthening and lengthening your<br />

muscles. We will be working on your<br />

core and balance to give an all-around<br />

workout. A portion of the class will be<br />

done seated on the mat. Light weights<br />

and resistance bands will also be used.<br />

This class is designed for all levels.<br />

Yoga Basics<br />

Designed for the beginner, learn<br />

how to incorporate yoga breathing<br />

techniques, body and spinal alignment<br />

and how to properly and safely work<br />

your body into different yoga postures<br />

including standing, sitting and<br />

balancing poses. This class focuses<br />

on stretching the larger muscle<br />

groups, helping improve flexibility and<br />

decreasing risk for injury. Please bring<br />

a yoga mat and water bottle.<br />

Total Body Aqua Fit<br />

Wednesdays and Fridays<br />

9 to 10 a.m. | Desert Camp<br />

Water fitness is an excellent way to<br />

get a low-impact cardio workout while<br />

toning and strengthening muscles.<br />

Come join in the fun and go at your<br />

own pace! Remember to bring a towel,<br />

Leadership Academy<br />

Learn more about the community’s governance and<br />

operations. Residents who participate are better<br />

prepared to serve in roles such as committee member,<br />

Neighborhood Voting Member or on the Ranch<br />

Association or Community Council Board of Directors.<br />

The DC Ranch Leadership Academy allows residents<br />

to meet others in a collaborative, learning format and<br />

establish positive, long-term working relationships.<br />

Each session includes classroom-style instruction and<br />

an interactive segment to problem-solve and work<br />

collectively. Applications for Class III will be available this<br />

summer at DCRanch.com/GetInvolved.<br />
