Having started life as a priory, Mottisfont, near Romsey, was transformed over the years in to

a lovely country home surrounded by a large estate and parkland. Maud Russell made

Mottisfont her home in the 1930s, bringing artists here to relax and work – the extraordinary

drawing-room was painted by artist Rex Whistler. Enjoy a stroll along the sparkling River Test which runs through the estate and the colours of the

This spectacular 17th century baroque mansion is situated in South Gloucestershire, not

far from Bristol. Surrounded by a stunning 274 acres of rolling parkland offering lovely

sights and usually include Newport, Sandown, Godshill, Shanklin, Ventnor, Freshwater and Alum Bay. There will be a main stop for lunch. A great day
