the classic winter pursuits, the summer
season continues to grow in importance –
while ropeway transport in urban settings
and at points of interest also plays an
ever-increasing role. For some ropeway
operators, this opens up opportunities for
addressing new target groups.

Bike Cab
Long-lasting, low-maintenance,
high-performance
The most elegant way to transport bikes
in a ropeway cabin is with the Bike Cab.
Eight bikes can be carried simultaneously
with just one carrier. In the bottom
station, riders attach their bikes to the
rotating holders in the center of the Bike
Cab and then board the next cabin. In the
top station, guests have plenty of time to
retrieve their bikes with ease.

Carriage inside the cabin
Suitable for the following bikes:
With the Bike Rack, up to three bikes can be carried
inside the cabin. For this purpose, the Bike Rack is
fixed to the floor of the cabin. If one or two bikes
are carried, one of the seat benches is simply folded
up and the riders take a seat alongside their bikes.
These are placed in the Bike Rack and retrieved by
the riders themselves.

Carriage outside the cabin –
when fitted with ski racks
The VARIA Bike Rack fits in all VARIA ski racks,
which are used on OMEGA IV cabins. It is simply
inserted into the ski rack from above and secured
at the bottom. Up to two bikes can be carried
simultaneously with the VARIA Bike Rack.

Carriage outside the cabin –
when no ski racks are fitted
With a weight of just nine kilos, the Bike
Holder is impressively lightweight. It is
designed for cabins without ski racks
and enables up to two bikes to be carried
outside the cabin.
The front wheel of the bike is suspended
in the upper cradle. The rear wheel is
supported at the bottom on both sides,
which prevents the bike from swinging
when suspended.
To prevent any
damage during
transport, the only
contact points for the
bike are the running
surfaces of the tires.

Ski Rack
The right solution for every need
The Ski Rack offers maximum flexibility when
carrying winter sports equipment. Depending
on the model, it can accommodate up
to seven pairs of skis or five pairs of skis
and one snowboard. Rugged materials and
low-noise design make the Ski Rack a true
evergreen in winter sports operations.
One Ski Rack is usually fitted to each door.

The TWISTIN ski rack is a clamping bracket
inside the cabin for transporting skis. It
allows each passenger to transport one
pair of skis and enables efficient entry
and exit, while also offering a high level of
seating comfort as passengers have their
hands free.

Leaning Bar
Lean your skis, sit back, and enjoy the trip
For cabins that are not fitted with Ski
Racks, ski bars protect the glazing from
being scratched by skis and snowboards.
The bars can be mounted on up
to three sides of the cabin and feature
rubber-covered ski stoppers to prevent
the sports equipment from turning over.
The tower-side option using the handrail
is recommended in combination with the
TWISTIN ski rack.

The elegant solution for 3S cabins
The Ski Clip enables the simple suspension
of skis from the cabin ceiling. This arrangement
enables efficient entry and exit, while
also offering a high level of seating comfort
as passengers have their hands free. The
seats at the far ends can also be fitted with
ski rests on the supporting columns.

Bike Clip
Up to four chairlift Bike Clips can be fitted
to the back of the chair. A reliable stabilizer
at the bottom of the support frame
prevents damage to the bike or the chair.
The Sports Hook (see p.26) is included in
the package. This is designed for oversize
or heavy bikes and is mounted on the
side of the chair.
With this device fitted, it is possible to
carry up to five bikes or four bikes and one
monster scooter, toboggan or cart on one
chair. Riders attach their bikes to the Bike
Clip and travel on the next chair. At the top
station, they remove their bikes from the
Bike Clip with a simple hand movement –
without lift personnel having to intervene –
and set off to the downhill thrills.

Uncompromising access
to downhill action
The Bike Carrier is an independent transport vehicle
for chairlifts. It is fitted with Bike Clips on the back
and uses a stabilizer fitted to the bottom of the support
frame to steady the bikes. Depending on chair
size, up to five bikes can be transported with the Bike
Carrier – that rises to six with the Sports Hook; or five
bikes plus one monster scooter, toboggan or cart.

Effortless and ergonomic –
the smart solution for carts
A cart weighs around 23 kg. For lift personnel,
the repeated operations of lifting
and attaching the carts mean considerable
physical strain. With the CART Holder,
that’s no longer necessary. The cart is
simply hooked onto the CART Holder and
automatically “lifted” by the Bike Carrier.
