Here’s a competition you can truly devour... as we are
on a quest to find the BEST SANDWICH in the region.
Showcase your creativity using unique and on-trend
ingredients and creating layers of flavours and texture
combinations to win the ultimate prize.
We look forward to your participation in this exciting
challenge to get a chance to compete against some of the
most talented chefs in the region and win
The Ultimate Sandwich title!

chance of success…

THE COMPETITION LAUNCH

Qualification Stage

To register, you will need to create 1 sandwich recipe, hot or cold,
and submit the concept & inspiration, recipe and a photo
of the sandwich by uploading the following requirements
to our dedicated
Competition Registration Page
under your registered account, by the 27 th of June 2022
THE PARTICIPATION RULES
Use at least one product from each of the participating brands:
Stockman’s & Bridor for Qatar participants
Stockman’s & Europastry for UAE participants
Use a maximum of 6 ingredients excluding garnish
Participants must post their sandwich at least once on
Instagram during the qualification stage period, tagging:
Chefmiddleeastofficial
Bridor_fr (Applicable to Qatar participants only)
Europastry1987 (Applicable to UAE participants only)

The judging panel will review all submissions and accept
only the ones strictly following the participation rules.

THE FINALISTS ANNOUNCEMENT
The finalists will be announced on the 1 st of July 2022.
The selection will be based on the submitted concept, the posting
on Instagram, the recipe and photo of the sandwich.
THE FINALE
The grand finale will take place on the 27 th of July 2022 in Dubai.
You will need to design three sandwiches, 1 Cold Sandwich, 1 Hot
Sandwich and 1 Surprise Sandwich from a mystery basket that you
will receive during the finale.

THE JUDGING CRITERIA
Interpretation : According to
your concept presentation,
judges will look for the idea
and inspiration behind your
creations and the theme
relevance.
Technicality & Taste : The
judges will look at the
technicality and taste of your
creations as well as the use of
the mandatory products.
Creativity : The more creative
the better, this will also be a
key judging criteria.
