WINE TRAIL
Green Wine
Page Springs Cellars is tucked into the volcanic landscape of the Page
Springs area, along the beautiful banks of the Oak Creek. Protecting
this beauty goes hand-in-hand with winery operations at PSC. Owner Eric
Glomski’s eco-responsible approach embraces environmental stewardship
of the vineyards and winery, providing the cornerstone of winemaking. A
certified-sustainable winery (via Sustainability Alliance), PSC continues to
work towards protecting our planet.
PAGE SPRINGS CELLARS
PAGE SPRINGS CELLARS
Decreasing its carbon footprint seems of equal importance as creating fine wines at Page Springs Cellars. The eco-winery employs solar voltaic panels
which can be found covering the winery roof and shading the parking area, making the winery 100% solar powered. PSC’s onsite waste-water treatment
system converts all grey and black water into high quality effluent that is reintroduced to the water table through adjacent mesquite bosques. In
congruence with water reclamation, PSC also actively participates in a ‘water offset program’ that allows PSC to boast their ‘net-zero water usage’ status.
Sustainability is the culture at PSC. From no-till farming to an extensive recycling program, composting to paperless hand dryers, Page Springs Cellars is
going the distance. Even the body butters and food supplements at the PSC Shop are created through the repurposing of pressed grape skins and seeds.
A connection to the wine that one drinks only seems to increase the enjoyment. Page Springs Cellars’ connection to the land that it farms and its surrounding
environment offers peace of mind and a connection that is hard to avoid when immersed in the beautiful winery...It doesn’t hurt that the wine is world class.
