Come and meet the candidates, hear their

manifestos and cast your vote for the Mock Mayor

of Penzance. The election will be at 8pm, with

free performances from Night Motor and Work’us

providing the musical ciabatta to the crazy filling that

is the Mock Mayor!

MAZEY DAY PARADES –

EACH ONE IS DIFFERENT

10.00 am - GOLOWAN CIVIC

PROCESSION - From St John’s Hall, up

Clarence Street, round and down Causewayhead

and down Market Jew Street to the Market House

where the Town Mayor and Mock Mayor address

the crowds

11.00 am - CROWST PARADE

1.00 pm - DINNER PARADE

3.00 pm - CRIB PARADE

These three parades all start from St John’s Hall

go to the bottom of Market Jew Street and back

up again.

4.45 pm - MEN AND MAIDS – Dance the

Serpent Dance through the streets of Penzance with

the Golowan Band. Starting at St John’s Hall and

ending….down by the Quay somewhere!

(Schools parades generously

supported by the Arts Council

and Hugh Scantlebury)
