The fishing charter Inshore Experience was born from the idea of Michel Ampa, an expert fishing guide and a deep

connoisseur of the different techniques and the best spots on Sal Island. Originally from Guinea Bissau, Michel moved

to Sal many years ago and here he transformed his passion and talent for fishing into a job at the service of Catch &

Release enthusiasts.

The activity of the fishing charter has Registration 278415504/4257320181029, N.I.F.: 278415504, License no. 189/18.

The long and white sand beach in the shape of a half moon of Santa Maria is one of the best

Surfcasting spots with which you can undermine different varieties of fish in addition to small sharks whose catches

are very frequent. But this does not make Rockfishing less interesting; the north of the island is characterized by

suggestive rocky coast overlooking the sea from which you can do captures with the technique of Spinning, you can

search and have fun with the Jack Horse Eye with breathtaking bites and powerfull escapes or even Dolphinfish also

of a good size that with their beautiful jumps can leave the fisherman in open-mouthed.

In addition to the spinning technique it is possible to practice all periods of the year the fishing like Rockfishing which

frequently allows the capture of Lemon and Nurse Sharks, making fishing a real adventure both for the nature of the

spots and for the hard fighting during the fishing session.

All our activities are carried out in total safety for both fishermen and fish.

An experience in the Archipelago of Cape Verde, a place rich of emotions, big

magnificent sunsets, endless beaches! In the middle of nowhere, far from the city,

the cars, the noise, the stress ... in short a paradise for fishing fanatics or simply for

those who are longing for a "break" in their busy life, those who are seeking the

nature; peace and wild life in a beautiful and relaxing place enriched by the fishing.

Below all the types of fishing we offer with their respective times. Keep in

mind, however, that the time slots are only indicative but not strictly rigid.

The various fishing techniques also allow for various types of catches. At Surf Casting,

different varieties of fish can be undermined, such as Bream, Murmur, Bonefish,

Blue Runner, Horse-Eye Jack and Corvina. With Rock Fishing - Spinning you catch

Horse-Eye Jack, Dolphinfish, African Pompano and Yellowfin Tuna. During the trips

for Surf Casting, Heavy Surf Casting and Rock Fishing it may accidentally happen to

catch various types of shark such as Lemon Sharks, Nurse, Tiger and Blacktip even if

our fishing is aimed at other species present such as Dolphinfish, Yellowfin Tuna and

Wahoo. But when this happens because of our experience and deep love for sharks

we know how to handle and release them in total safety without causing any harm.

One option that we have in the Heavy Surf Casting trip is to launch the bait with the

drone, this allows us to reach greater distances and also to make the customer live a

new and certainly fascinating experience.

Many customers will also ask what are the best times for fishing. Well, as regards Surf

Casting, Heavy Surf Casting and Rock Fishing it is good all year around; for Spinning

the best period is from June to December.

We want to clarify that all our trips are carried out in total safety for both fishermen

and fish. Our philosophy is only and exclusively Catch & Release and we would like

you to always make it present to customers.

For a more comfortable experience and for all types of packages, we ask you to suggest

customers to use Aquatek clothing or fast dry wear, in addition:

• Cap

• Sun glasses

• Sunshield

• Jersey type Aquatek

• Popping Gloves

• Shorts or bathing trunks

• Trail running shoes

• Head Torche

As for payments we ask for any type of package a deposit of € 250,00 per person to

secure the booking, the balance must be paid 8 weeks before the arrival date or full

payment at the time of booking. For short term bookings and therefore not within 8

weeks, payment must be made in full at the time of booking.

We propose you to suggest customers to book the flight well in advance to try to get

the best rate.
