ART IN THE PARK Make the journey to Silo Park this summer to create unique hands-on art projects! Each Art in the Park program introduces participants to a different art medium and technique that will be used in designing and constructing a unique and original work of art. Join us for one day or several to create art! When: Tuesdays and Thursdays, June 7 through August 2 Thursday, July 14 Abstract Scraper Paintings Tuesday, July 19 Ladder to the Moon Thursday, July 21 Artsy Fun Tuesday, July 26 Painting Red Tuesday, August 2 To the Beach! Times: Tuesdays, 12:30 to 2 p.m. Thursdays, 9:30 to 11 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Fee: $25 per program Age Requirement: 6 to 12 years old Instructor: Lauren Brant, Roese Ramp, Arts on Fire and Red Hen Createry Location: Silo Park, 9300 East Orchard Road, Greenwood Village, CO 80111 YOUTH ART CLASSES TEEN SUMMER ART STUDIO When: Mondays, June 6 through July 25 July 18 — Large Scraper Abstract Painting — 2 to 4 p.m. July 25 — Flight of the Butterfly — 1 to 4 p.m. Fee: $25 for each class — All supplies provided Age Requirement: Ages 11 to 16 years old Instructor: Lauren Brant, Maggie Stewart, and Roese Ramp PEE WEE ART When: Wednesdays, 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. August 17 — One Little Monkey September 14 — Zig Zag Painting October 12 — Pumpkin Magic November 16 — Festive Turkey December 14 — Whimsical Tree Fee: $25 for each program — All supplies provided Age Requirement: 3 to 6 years old with caregiver Instructor: Lauren Brant JULY 2022 | GV NEWSLETTER PG. 21
