No Immunizations are required to enter

Vietnam, unless a traveller is coming

also a good idea. It is also very important

to bring along a supply of wide spectrum

Frequently asked

questions

we’ll answer all your queries and exceed your expectations...

At NAPT we are very happy to have you call us with any questions regarding booking a tour. Likewise, once you have booked a

tour, please feel free to contact us and discuss your trip. Every body has different questions. Here are some of the most commonly

asked questions.

How many people do you get

per group?

Here at NAPT we are all about quality of

your tour, we usually like to keep our tour

numbers low at about 6 – 20 people.

This is quite a comfortable number and

makes it a lot quicker when moving

through crowds.

Are there any age restrictions,

can I bring my children?

Your children are very welcome. We have

had travellers from 6 years of age. The

airlines offer you a 25% discount for children

under 2 years of age. Also, they can share

a room with the parents as a triple share for

even greater savings.

I have travelled before, but

never with a group

Group travel, is very rewarding as you build

friendships and share experiences. If you

haven’t travelled in a group before, we can

help you adjust. Our tours are designed to

give you plenty of free time to enjoy the

attractions you are most interested in. You

are never “forced” to take a tour and our

guides can easily re-arrange your itinerary if

you’d like a day on your own! We specialise

in small group journeys, small enough

for you to enjoy. You’ll find it enjoyable

to travel with other people as you are all

there for the same reason, and you also

make new friends. Also with a small group

you get to know every body and we have

had numerous people book for a second

or third trip with another couple that they

have met on tour with us.

What if I am a single traveller?

We try our absolute best to match you up

with another traveller of the same gender.

If this is not possible then the single

supplement will apply to the tour. If you

prefer to not share accommodation, we

can arrange for single rooms for your trip.

I am 80+ years old, are your

tours too strenuous?

No not at all, we have had clients as old as

90 years of age. However some of the days

are quite jammed with sightseeing and

attractions, this is where travelling by air

and not train has an advantage. Remember,

we’re here to help you get the most out of

your experience. If you’re feeling tired and

would like a day off – just talk to our friendly

tour leaders and they can arrange it.

What about travel insurance?

We strongly recommend that you take out

travel insurance at the time of paying in

full for your tour. This means that you are

covered from that time until you return

to your home. We use and recommend

Toursafe with insurance issued by AIG.

We have had a business relationship with

them for the past 2 years, and can highly

recommend them. We can issue your

Indochina Weather Chart

These are the average temperatures that you may expect

insurance in our office and we can offer you

a 5% discount on your premium for taking

out insurance through us. If you have a

pre existing condition, we will provide you

with the appropriate forms for you to take

to your doctor to have them filled out and

returned to us.

Do you guarantee departure?

Yes, we have guaranteed departures for all

of our tours that we offer. We never cancel

a tour due to not having enough people

booked on it.

What clothes do I have

to take?

In this brochure you will find a weather

chart, and you will be able to see most of

the cities that you will be visiting. What you

take is at your discretion. Just remember

that you will do some shopping and the

weight limit is usually 20kg.

Who will I be travelling with?

At the time of booking we will inform you

of how many people are booked on the

tour you are going on. Also, when we send

out your final documents, we will be able

to tell you more about who you will be

travelling with.

Who will meet us

at the airport?

Once past customs and after you have

collected your baggage, you will be met

at the gate by your guide. They will be

holding a sign with either your name on

it or the name of your tour that you have

booked on. You will meet there and wait

for the other passengers (from your tour

group) to come through and transfer to

your hotel.

How much money will I need

over there?

This is entirely up to you, just remember

that your tour is all paid for including

meals, and that you will need around AU$5

per day for tipping. The rest lies with how

much shopping etc. you intend to do.
