GREAT DRIVE: Junior karting star Zach Tucker is congratulated in pit lane after another dominant performance. Zach is bound for Italy, where he’ll
represent New Zealand in the annual ROK Superfinal.
On the fast track to success
• By Chris Barclay
THERE ARE untold twists and
turns to come when an aspiring
motorsport star is just 11 yearsold,
though Zach Tucker is
confidently approaching a fast
track to success.
Zach will represent New
Zealand at the annual ROK Cup
Superfinal in October, where he
will emulate the likes of formula
1 champions Lewis Hamilton
and Sebastian Vettel by racing at
Italy’s spiritual home of karting.
The Medbury School year 7
student, who started racing as a
six-year-old, learned last Monday
he can start doing homework on
one of Europe’s highly rated circuits
for future F1 drivers, South
Garda Karting.
Zach earned the right to represent
New Zealand by defending
his Vortex Mini ROK national
title against 28 rivals over a fourrace
schedule in Wellington last
month.
“It will be an amazing experience,
it’ll be quite something and
quite frightening I imagine,” said
Zach’s mother, Missie Tucker.
Zach is supplied with a kart
and engine for the four days
of racing, while KartSportNZ
covers the entry fee and contributes
towards travel and food
expenses.
However, Tucker said about
20,000 Euro ($33,000) was
required to boost Zach’s campaign,
by accessing factory team
mechanics and technology.
“For the actual main race we’re
going to have to pay to be part
of a team to give Zach the best
chance, apparently that’s what
most people do,” she said.
Zach’s preparations for Italy
include overseas experience in
Australia, where he will compete
in the City of Melbourne Titles
on August 6-7. He won the 2021
Vortex Mini ROK crown at the
more familiar surrounds of the
Kart Sport Canterbury Race
Track.
Coached by Matthew Hamilton
of WKS Kartstore, Zach’s
next assignment is driving for
Medbury in the national schools’
championships in Invercargill on
Friday and Saturday.
Zach’s goals for next year are
winning a third straight Vortex
Mini ROK title, race in Italy
again and then step up in class to
Junior Rotax karting.
Although South Garda
Karting, situated near Lonato
del Garda between Venice and
Milan, is considered a breeding
ground for the next generation of
F1 drivers, long-term it is not the
pinnacle for Zach.
WE ALL seem to be behaving
ourselves this holidays.
That is the report card of the
Christchurch North Community
Patrol, with chairman Sam Ha l
describing the summertime situation
as “pretty
good.”
Park and
picnic areas
have been on
the patrol radar,
standard for this
time of year.
“We haven’t
actua ly had to
report anything
from the picnic areas around,”
Hall said.
“It was a l very family-orientated,
so it’s been quite good.”
More family groups than usual
seemed to be out, possibly because
the Covid-19 pandemic was preventing
people from leaving town
for a holiday, he said.
Being a frequent presence
was also helpful in deterring
incidents.
December and January were
also the time of year the patrol
focused on monitoring schools,
but no issues had arisen there
either.
Another summertime staple
was fire danger patrol.
No decision
yet to
appeal
declining of
rehabilitation
facility
• By Fiona E lis
THE DEPARTMENT of
Corrections has until February 9
to appeal after permission to build
a contentious rehabilitation centre
for violent offenders in St Albans
was declined.
However, it is remaining tightlipped
on whether or not it is likely
to do so.
Last week the Bristol Street
Resource Consent Hearing panel
declined to grant resource consent
for the Bristol St facility, fo lowing
a hearing in November.
The proposal would have seen
up to 12 men serving sentences
of home detention at 14 Bristol St
while participating in a violenceprevention
programme. Men
with significant untreated mental
health issues would not be eligible
to participate in the programme.
In their decision, city council
appointed commissioners Anthony
Hughes-Johnson QC and Ken
Lawn said they were not satisfied
the site was appropriate for such a
facility.
Corrections acting regional
commissioner Chris O’Brien-
Smith did not answer Nor’West
New’s question on whether an
appeal would be made, but said
corrections would spend the
next few weeks reflecting on the
commissioners’ findings.
Frustration mounts over subdivision exit
• By Emily Moorhouse
RESIDENTS WHO find it
difficult driving out of their
subdivision due to congestion
are frustrated with the lack of
progress towards installing a
second main exit.
Prestons Park has about
12,000 sections, occupied by an
estimated 2700 people with one
main exit out of Prestons Park
Drive onto Prestons Rd.
Lyn Bunn, who lives in the
subdivision
said an exit
has been
planned to
lead onto
Mairehau
Rd for years
now but
residents’
are still
Lyn Bunn
waiting for
it to be built.
“Everyone
that’s bought a section out here
has been promised ‘oh yes the
entrance way will be up and running
shortly’ this is what they’ve
been told for seven years,” she
said.
“I was told the same thing
when I bought a section here and
I bought this section over two
years ago.”
Bunn said she is retired
now so the back up doesn’t
affect her as much but on
weekends it’s particularly busy,
making it difficult to leave the
subdivision.
Waitai Coastal-Burwood
Community Board chair Kelly
Barber compared the subdivision
to having a huge building with
3000-4000 people living there
and only one door.
He said the cars trying to leave
get “stacked up for miles” along
Prestons Park Drive as people try
to leave.
“Council’s been working on it
and working with the developer
for some time but the two parties
can’t seem to get together and
make it happen, and to be honest
the people don’t really care, they
just want their thing open.”
Professionals Real Estate agent
Colin Lock, who sells sections at
Prestons Park said he shares the
residents’ concerns with lack of
exit options and has done everything
he can to facilitate getting
the exit installed.
“The council told everyone
that it would be starting in
June, where they got that from
I have no idea. Despite wanting
to get it sorted, I can’t help
them.”
Bunn said there is an exit on
Cameo Grove to Burwood Rd
but as it is narrow and doesn’t
have a left and right turning lane
it isn’t a solution.
City council head of transport
and waste management Lynette
Ellis said staff and developers
are working together to ensure
they find solutions that meet
the needs of both parties and
provide the best value possible.
“Works on this intersection
cannot begin until all approvals
are in place. Council and
developers are working together
throughout the process to assess
the impacts of any development
on the wider council network.”
CDL Land, which is the company
developing the subdivision,
didn’t respond before Nor’West
News deadline.
BACKED UP: Drivers
exiting Prestons Park
on Prestons Park Drive
(turning into Prestons Rd)
face congestion due to the
number of cars trying to
leave through one main
exit. Above – The alternative
entrance to Prestons Park
from Mairehau Rd is yet to
be created.
Bunn said she has had several
discussions with city council
transport staff and has been in
contact with the developer and
contractor as well as Barber
and mayoral candidate Phil
Mauger but a decision is yet to be
reached.
“It’s like nobody wants to make
a decision, it just goes round and
round in a circle and as it keeps
doing that it’s just never going to
go anywhere.”
She said it was also a health
and safety issue if residents’
needed to evacuate.
“If there was a big emergency
within the subdivision there’s
only one way in for everything,
it’s really just not good enough.”
Talented duo take top honours in junior
A DUO from Christchurch Girls’
High School have taken out the
title of the 2022 FMG Junior
Young Farmers of the Year.
Erin Humm and Amelia
Ridgen won a raft of prizes
worth more than $1700, and they
also topped the points in the face
off competition.
They became just the second
female pair to win the coveted
title.
Cameron Brans and Quinn
Redpath from Napier Boys’ High
School were named runner up
FMG Junior Young Farmers of
the Year.
Third place went to another
pair of young women, Tia Fowle
and Renee Zwagerman, ex
Southland Girls’ High School
students.
Fourteen teams of two from
across the country travelled to
Whangārei for the junior final, a
contest for high school students.
Amelia and Erin were
overwhelmed and humbled by
the win and very proud that two
young women beat all the boys
to take the title.
“It’s pretty cool that we’re both
girls,” said Erin, who is from
Pigeon Bay.
“It’s really empowering,
it’s a good boost to get into
the industry and it’s really
encouraging,” said Amelia, from
Greendale.
The duo, both aged 17, are
boarders at CGHS. Leaving
school next year, they both plan
to do a bachelor of AgriScience
at Lincoln University.
It was their second grand final
after winning the exam section
last year.
This year, they battled through
a day of rain, bad weather and
modules involving kumara.
“I found parts of the farmlet
generally the toughest for me,
I had to rely on Erin for the
practical side of it a lot so it was
definitely a team effort,” Amelia
said.
Their advice for other young
women and girls was to just get
into it.
“The competition is so much
fun, we’ve done it every year and
never placed before till last year.
It’s just so much fun and you
learn so much and meet so many
new people, it’s great.”
young farmers
The top two teams from all
seven New Zealand Young
Farmers’ regions qualified for the
grand final from their regional
final, held earlier in the year.
Contestants completed an
exam on Thursday before heading
into practical day on Friday.
They also had to present a
10-minute speech in front of
a panel of judges on one of
two topics: does “NZ have a
responsibility to the world to
keep increasing food production
to cater to the rising global
population, or technology has
changed how food is produced
– discuss the impact of food
being produced in a laboratory as
opposed being field grown.”
The teams’ skills and
knowledge of the food and fibre
sector were tested through a
series of modules on practical
day, which included; pre-use
checks on a quad bike and
securing a trailer, planting
and soil requirements to grow
kumara, matching wool traits
and samples, calf welfare
and humane disbudding,
reassembling a chainsaw
while using the correct safety
equipment and assembling a
watertight vessel to transport and
collect as much water as possible
to put out a ‘fire’.
They also went head-to-head in
a ‘farmlet’ challenge which they
had two hours to complete.
Teams had to construct a
footbridge across a waterway,
strong enough to hold a judge
walking across it. They were
also tested on their know-how
of riparian planting, and were
judged on their ability to identify
where and why a riparian strip
was required and how it should
be laid out and planted.
New Zealand Young Farmers
Chief Executive Lynda
Coppersmith said it was fantastic
to see high school students’
knowledge of the food and fibre
sector on full display.
“Firstly I would like to say
a massive congratulations to
Amelia and Erin who are two
amazing young women and
so deserving of the title. I also
want to congratulate our other
place getters and the rest of the
contestants who competed over
the last two days,” she said.
“New Zealand Young Farmers’
purpose is to excite young people
about all of the possibilities in
the food and fibre sector so it’s
great to see such an enthusiastic
bunch of winners who embody
the knowledge and innovation
needed to excel in such a diverse
industry.”
The seven FMG Young Farmer
of the Year Grand Finalists also
presented their speeches at the
awards ceremony, in front of a
crowd of 350 before their final
challenge at the evening show on
Saturday night.
Is Taiora QE2 too cold?
• By Emily Moorhouse
A POLL on social media
has attracted more than 500
responses from residents, with
the majority stating the pool
temperature at Taiora QE2 is too
cold.
Polls were posted on Facebook
in eastern community groups
about the 25m lane pool after
the temperature was discussed
during a Waitai Coastal-
Burwood Community Board
meeting.
The pool sits at a temperature of
27.5°C, while other pools around
the city range from 26.7-28°C.
People who live in the eastern
suburbs took to the polls, saying
the temperature was too cold.
Some said they have switched to
other facilities like Te Pou Toetoe
and Graham Condon, which
have 25m lane pools at 28°C.
However, city council head
of recreation, sports and
events Nigel Cox said the
pool temperatures were based
on users preferences, with
competitive swimmers liking
lower temperatures while low
intensity swimmers preferred
warmer temperatures.
Cox said if the pool
temperature was too warm
it would cause competitive
swimmers to sweat more and
possibly get headaches.
He said the temperature won’t
be adjusted at this stage.
Community board chair Kelly
Barber said the board was happy
with the response from city
council staff after
inquiring about
the temperature.
“It’s a bit like
how long is a
piece of string,
it’s hard to know
what some
people find cold
and what others
don’t,” he said.
“It was a
Kelly
Barber
simple case of understanding the
temperature range and it’s not so
different from other pools.”
Barber said if people aren’t
happy with the temperature they
should let pool staff know.
However, community board
member Linda Stewart said
the temperature is too cold,
particularly for aqua joggers.
“It’s too damn cold . . . I’m
concerned about this, our locals
are going elsewhere,” she said.
Stewart said she’s worried
users who have
left to go to other
pools won’t
return again
once winter
ends.
“This is our
community
Linda
Stewart
facility, it
was built as a
community
facility,” she said.
URINE ISSUES IN CATS
Many cats are seen in consult for
inappropriate urination, with or without
blood. Usually the issue is either stress
causing behavioural changes in urine
patterns, termed idiopathic cystitis. Or you
can get a mechanical obstruction of the
urethra from mucous plugs, crystals and
calculi (stones), oedema, strictures and
cancers.
Bacterial infection and dry diet may play
a part, as well as stress, genetics and strict
confinement.
Sometimes changes in urine patterns
are seen because cats drink more
frequently, seen in metabolic diseases like
Hyperthyroidism, Diabetes, Kidney and
Liver disease, Hypercalcaemia, IBD etc
When a client calls with a cat who is
straining and can’t urinate, this is classified
as a medical emergency and we will always
want to see this cat immediately. These cats
are often hugely painful, loudly vocalising
and some collapsed. It can happen
suddenly, with no warning. Affected cats
can be seen straining and digging holes,
anorexic, vomiting, depressed, altered
mentation, with low temperatures and
low heart rates. On examination a hard,
large, round bladder is palpated and we
are unable to express the cat. These cats
are taken straight to surgery to catheterise
the urethra and alleviate the problem,
facilitating easy urinating again. A catheter
is usually sutured in place to allow easy
urination for 24-48 hours and a head
collar needs to be worn to prevent the
cats chewing out the catheter, further
traumatising the urethra.
These cats often have severe metabolic
derangements that often need addressing
before relieving the obstruction.
Bradycardia and kidney failure are serious
sequelae and these cats need to be
hospitalised for 2-3 days and supported
with Intravenous fluids and pain
medications, and careful monitoring of
urination.
The urethral blockage is usually due to a
mucous plug or bladder stones (usually
Calcium or Struvite ) in cats and usually
occurs in male cats. If a cat can’t urinate
the bladder pressure rises and you can end
up with pressure necrosis and irreversible
mucosal injury. Urine can back flow to the
kidneys, causing failure.
The bladder also has the potential to
rupture, causing peritionitis.
Ritchie, a 10 year old DSH, is a loveable
dude who’s been in the clinic for a few
weeks as he keeps getting blocked. He’s
been catheterised a few times but just
reblocks once the catheter is removed.
The decision was made between Ritchies
loving family and the vet team at McMaster
& Heap to perform a surgery called a
Perineal Urethrostomy, whereby essentially
Ritchie is made “ female” to allow him
to easily urinate. This procedure is only
recommended to treat obstructions that
can’t be eliminated by catheterisation , for
urethral tears and to prevent reoccurrence
of urethral obstructions in male cats.
This surgery should be performed by
a skilled, experienced surgeon. You are
working on delicate small structures and
can’t afford to make a mistake. The surgery
doesn’t affect the formation of crystals
but provides a wider passageway for their
release. Thus blockages shouldn’t occur
but infections might. Other potential
complications include wound breakdown
from the cat traumatising the surgical site,
bleeding, strictures and urine leakage.
So far Ritchie is recuperating in our hospital
and getting loads of love and attention
from all his nursing team, and the best
news is he can easily urinate without pain.
Go Ritchie.
Zach sets his sights
on racing Supercars
• From page 1
“I would like to be a Supercars driver
like Shane Van Gisbergen,” he said.
However, for now Zach, who turns 12 in
December, is content to master karting, a
pursuit which succeeded an interest in dirt
bikes.
“I really wanted to have a go at karting.
I love the competition and challenge of
trying to be perfect every lap. I love mixed
grid racing,” he said.
Zach has justified the switch with
a string of schools, South Island and
national titles, including the Goldstar
New Zealand motorsport drivers Scott
“In a short time he has proven himself
The first couple to marry at hot pools
A COUPLE who tied the
knot in a surprise sunrise
ceremony have become the
first couple to get married
at He Puna Taimoana hot
pools.
Sophia and Robbie Hart, of
Avondale got married at the hot
pools in front of small group
of friends and family on July
3, who were unaware of the
couple’s wedding plans until just
moments before
the ceremony.
Sophia and Robbie say they
love being spontaneous and after
enjoying a night at one of He
Puna Taimoana’s sunset sessions
earlier this year, they knew they
had found their dream wedding
location.
“As soon as we walked in we
were like ‘wow’. There was a
beautiful feel and energy to the
place and we knew we wanted
to get married there,” Sophia
said.
“Weddings can be so stressful
and it can be boring for guests.
We didn’t want something
boring. We wanted something
special and fulfilling.”
“We always knew we wanted a
surprise wedding, so we invited
about 25 of our closest friends
and family to join us at the pools.
We only told them to meet us
there the day before so they were
all blown away when I came out
in my wedding dress.”
Sophia said they didn’t
have any expectations on how
the day would go but staff
made it smooth, easy and
accommodating.
The couple’s celebrant
Taurapa said while it was an
ambitious move, with so many
things possibly going wrong,
everything fell into place on the
day.
“Incorporating te reo
Māori was really important
for Sophia and Robbie. I was
disguised as a lifeguard as the
guests arrived. As soon as I
started speaking in te reo I
think they all started to click,”
he said.
“It’s definitely the most out
there wedding I have been a
part of. I don’t know how they
got all their guests to a surprise
wedding at 7am in the middle of
winter, but it worked. Everyone
was really happy, it was a nice
celebration.”
He Puna Taimoana manager
Merryn Skipper said hosting the
first wedding at the hot pools
was very exciting.
“It was such a magical
morning. The team really
came together to pull off
something special for the bride
and groom and their guests. We
loved being a part of their happy
day.
“Our sunrise sessions have
been so popular. It is such a
stunning part of Christchurch
and we’re so happy that Sophia
and Robbie chose to have their
nuptials here.’’
And how did the couple
celebrate saying I do?
“We kept our vows short
and sweet and were wearing
our togs underneath. As soon
as we finished, we jumped in
the plunge pool and joined our
guests. It was perfect,” Sophia
said.
“My whole focus is to look after the client and make sure
they get the best result for their Stamps, Coins, Banknotes
was milking cows to pay for my regular trips to the Stamp
and Coin events in Christchurch, on the bus from Rangiora,
even at that early age. With me, you will get genuine and
honest advice on the value of your collections and holdings.
Gold and Silver are at ALL TIME highs. And the Stamp and
Coin market is actually stronger now than ever, in no small
part due to Covid 19, as people stay home and re discover
their hobbies. So, now is a great time to sell!
old to travel.
No worries! I can come to you.
“ The greatest thing about collecting, is
the people and the fun. At some stage it
is time to move on and sell. Especially if
the family has no interest in those things.
There are still lots of passionate collectors
out there who will love the work you have
put in. So, why not get in touch and pass
those items to people who really care”?
Serves 4
Ingredients
75g cheddar cheese, grated
150g broccoli
50g butter
150ml water
1 tsp sugar
75g flour
2 egg, lightly beaten
Salt and ground pepper
Pinch cayenne
Neutral oil for frying
1 lemon, cut into wedges
Sea salt flakes for serving
Directions
Half fill a medium-sized saucepan with
water and lightly salt. Bring to the boil.
Separate the florets of broccoli and cook
in the boiling water for 5 minutes. Drain
immediately and refresh in cold water.
Drain well. Roughly chop and set aside.
To make the beignets: melt the butter
with the water and sugar in a saucepan.
Bring to the boil and add the flour, beating
until you have a smooth ball of paste
which leaves the side of the pan.
Remove from the heat and stir in the
cheddar.
Add the eggs a little at a time, beating
until you have a smooth, silky paste.
Add the cooked, chopped broccoli, salt,
pepper and cayenne. Stir to combine.
To cook the beignets: using a heavy,
deep-sided pot, half fill with oil and place
over a moderate heat. Do not leave the pan
unattended when frying.
Test the heat by carefully dropping in a
little batter. If it instantly starts to fry then
the temperature is correct.
Use two dessert spoons to scoop the
batter into the hot oil. Take care at all times
and don’t be tempted to crowd the pot.
Cook them in batches. Remove with a
slotted spoon and drain on kitchen paper.
Grate over more cheddar while they are
still hot.
Continue until all the mix has been used.
Serve with a squeeze of lemon, sprinkle of
sea salt flakes and more grated cheddar.
Cheesy leeks
Serves 6-8
Ingredients
3 medium leeks (600g), trimmed and cut
into 2cm rounds
1 tsp fresh thyme leaves
50g butter
50g flour
500ml milk (can use plant-based milk)
1 Tbsp dijon mustard
100g strong cheddar cheese
Salt and ground white pepper
Freshly ground nutmeg
100g stale bread, made into coarse
crumbs
Directions
Preheat the oven to 200degC.
Place the washed leeks into a steamer or
colander over a pot with rapidly boiling
water, cover and steam until the leeks
are bright in colour and tender (about 6
minutes — do not overcook). Remove and
set aside until required.
To make the cheesy sauce: melt the
butter in a medium size saucepan, over a
moderate temperature, add the flour and
stir well to form a thick paste.Gradually
add the milk, stirring constantly to prevent
lumps. Add the mustard and season lightly
with salt and pepper and a little freshly
ground nutmeg. Cook out for 5 minutes
before adding the ⅔ of the grated cheese.
Remove from the heat and stir well
to melt the cheese. Taste and adjust the
seasoning if needed. Fold through the
leeks and pour into a suitable sized oven
dish.Mix the breadcrumbs, remaining
cheese and thyme together and sprinkle
over cheesy leeks.
Bake for 20 minutes or until golden.

RAY WHITE PAPANUI NEWS
How to make property photos pop
even in Winter!
Are you worried your property won’t photograph as well in winter? Here’s a few of my top tips for making your
home and garden photos pop even during these colder months!
1. Let the light shine in, even if it’s not
sunny it can still be bright. Wash the
windows inside and out. Pull back
the curtains. Ditch the nets. Trim
back any trees and bushes that are
blocking any light coming in.
2. Use pops of colour or utilise bright
whites and neutrals (your personal
taste might sway one way or
another there) to brighten things up.
Cushions and rugs in different
textures and tones will add warmth.
3. Bring in some nature. It might be
winter but you can still grab some
flowers affordably from the
supermarket and pop in a vase for
instant effect. Or alternatively some
indoor pot plants for longevity. A big
bowl of lemons can be a nice display
(seasonal for winter so hopefully you
can poach a few from a friend’s tree).
DIY landlords
won’t need to meet
new PM regulations
Despite an overwhelming
opinion from attendees at recent
Housing and Urban Development
Ministry workshops that private
landlords should also need to
comply with the proposed incoming
regulations for property
managers, senior officials say it is
not in their remit to recommend
that.
While private landlords are
covered by the Residential
Tenancies Act, I unfortunately
do come across many landlords
who either do not understand the
legislation or seem to think they
are exempt from it!
Tenancy law in New Zealand
has become very complex over
the past few years, and while
there are certainly some private
landlords who understand and
comply, it takes a lot of time and
effort to keep on top of the many
changes that continue to be
introduced.
I fully support the Government’s
proposed regulations which
include property managers being
licensed, having to establish a
trust account, holding insurance,
undergoing 20 hours of
professional development and
complying with an independent
disciplinary and complaints
resolution scheme. I do however
think that because the regulations
will be here to protect both
landlords and tenants, that
private landlords should also
need to comply with the same
regulations.
Residential Property
Managers Association
4. Outside still have everything
trimmed neatly including lawns
and if you want to add in a little
colour use outdoor pots or even
pansies (cheap potted colour from
your local Mitre 10 is available all
winter). Tip here to avoid it looking
too ‘granny’ just stick to one colour,
a row along a garden bed of all white
pansies can provide a more modern
effect.
5. Wash it down and water-blast it
away. Finally, any moss, lichen and
autumn leaves still hanging around
make it disappear. This might take
some elbow grease but shouldn’t cost
you much, if anything. Don’t forget
about your entranceway and
street footpath either. Finally
outside, put out of sight for photos
your bins, hoses, peg baskets, old
president David Pearse has been
reported as saying if the quality
of property management is going
to be improved it has to include
private landlords, and comments
that in his opinion the days of DIY
landlording are over.
About 59% of the country’s
private rental properties are
under management which has
increased by 10% since 2020,
prompted by the introduction
of new legislation, Healthy
Homes Standards and new rules
regarding tax and the Brightline
test, however that still means that
around 40% of rental properties
are being privately managed.
Mr Pearse comments that a huge
number of people are ignorant
about property management and
the responsibilities that go with
it. He says that in his opinion the
main catalyst causing landlords
to get bad service from property
managers is that they are running
too large portfolios meaning they
cannot actually give the service
they are expected to give.
I agree with this overall, and have
found over the years that keeping
a property manager’s portfolio
numbers lower and ensuring they
have great administration support
means they are able to provide
a full service and achieve client
satisfaction, both for landlords
and tenants. We are afterall
working in a service industry.
outdoor umbrellas and furniture that
isn’t looking it’s best and finally, take
off your bbq cover, just for the photo
but trust me it looks so much better!
Winter photos can still show your home
in its best light so don’t think that you
have to wait until Spring!
If you live in Christchurch also remember
I am always available to come out and
have a look at your home to discuss your
plans for getting your home market
ready. Even if it’s a few months out I
still look forward to hearing from you.
Planning ahead can often be the key to a
successful sale.
