Location<br />
The TWU Institute of Health Sciences – <strong>Houston</strong><br />
Center is located in the heart of the Texas<br />
Medical Center (TMC). As the largest medical<br />
center in the world, TMC unites the resources and<br />
expertise of 50 health care institutions, including<br />
TWU, to serve 10 million patients a year. Located<br />
just a short walk from the TMC Transit Center,<br />
our students have easy access to <strong>Houston</strong> arts,<br />
culture and career possibilities.<br />
Our <strong>Campus</strong><br />
The <strong>Houston</strong> Center is a state-of-the-art, 10-story,<br />
202,000-square-foot campus in one building with<br />
a library, computer labs, fitness center, study<br />
areas, a commuter lounge, a cafe and lactation<br />
room. Our students also gain access to the Texas<br />
Medical Center libraries, supplemental learning<br />
labs, research tools and hands-on equipment. Our<br />
campus offers nursing, occupational therapy and<br />
physical therapy labs, including simulation rooms<br />
that also are accessible virtually.

in the Texas Medical Center and a short<br />

living spaces, clubrooms and study areas,<br />
a fitness center, and a rooftop mezzanine<br />
