Amal Hassan
Amal Hassan is a leading
Nigerian technopreneur with
diverse interests across different
technology verticals. In 2003,
Amal set up the first organised
ICT training institute in Kano
that provides IT training to
young Nigerians especially
women. Her passion to unlock
Nigeria’s developmental
potentials through technologydriven
innovation and value
addition led her to build,
capitalise and restructure a
series of technology-related
businesses that succeed
in developing talents and
creating employment for young
Nigerians.
In 2013, she founded the
Outsource Global; a contact
centre business process
outsourcing that now has
offices in Abuja, Lagos, and
Kaduna. Under her leadership,
Outsource Global has emerged
as the leading Nigerian contact
centre provider, servicing the
international market, turning the
company into a truly global
BPO giant, creating over 700
jobs and putting Nigeria on the
global map for contact centre
business process outsourcing.

and partner at Ingressive,
a firm that provides
market entry, technology
research and market
operations services for firms
and businesses expanding
into Africa.
She also founded
Ingressive Capital,
a venture capital
fund investing
in Africa-based
technology

She cofounded
the High
Growth
Africa Summit, a two-day conference on how
to launch a high growth African business, and
founded Tech Meets Entertainment Summit, a
deal-focused event for African celebrities and
tech companies to build revenue-generating
partnerships.
Maya (with her colleagues, Sean Burrowes and
Blessing Abeng) later co-founded Ingressive
for Good, a nonprofit providing scholarships,
technical training and talent placement for
African youth.
Regina Honu
Regina Honu is the CEO of
Soronko Solutions. She just
opened the first coding
and human centered
design school called
Soronko Academy. She is an
ambassador and mentor
for thecamp, first European
campus dedicated to
emerging technology and
social innovation. She is listed
as one of BBC 100 most
inspirational and innovative
women for 2017.
She was awarded the 2017
Northwestern University Buffet
Institute for Emerging Global
Leaders Award and awarded
by Coca Cola in the Coca
Cola young achievers award
as one of the big six and a
leader in technology. She won
Startup Entrepreneur of the
year and Soronko Solutions
won Social Start-up of the year
for 2016 at the Ghana Startup
Awards. She was featured
on CNN as one the 12
inspirational women who rock
STEM. She was named as one
of the six women making an
impact in Tech in Africa
