01 UNLOCKING THE VEHICLE

UNLOCKING FROM THE OUTSIDE:
PUSH DON’T SLAM!
• Electrically: Unlock with the remote control, then press the push
button on the right-hand side of the vehicle (01)
• Manually: On the right side of the vehicle, turn the key 90°
clockwise. While doing so, press the front door slightly
against the vehicle.

Your Microlino has a soft-close system.
Please note that when closing the front door to only push slightly; the
soft-close system completes the closing automatically. This protects the
interior components from shocks and prolongs their life.
UNLOCKING FROM THE INSIDE:
• Electric: Press the Button behind the centre bar in the dashboard
(02)
• Manually: Pull the emergency release strap, which is
located on the passenger side under the carpet.
OPENING THE TRUNK:
• From the outside: With radio remote control. The opening
button must be pressed for 3-5 seconds.
• From the inside: Press the opening icon ( ) on the touch
bar on the touch bar

APERTURE ANGLE
Please note that the door opens automatically to the maximum opening
angle due to the gas spring. For this reason, the opening of the door
should always be slowed down by holding on to the loop to avoid damage.
The maximum space needed for the open door is 60cm towards
the front and 190cm upwards.

03 STARTING THE VEHICLE
04 PARKING
To start the vehicle, turn the ignition key to the fixed position
1 or 2. The display then shows «Ready» (01). The vehicle is now
ready for operation. The third ignition key position (not engaging)
has no function.
Before driving, make sure that the handbrake is released
(see chapter 04 PARKING). Then press the brake pedal and select
the desired gear (see chapter 05 DRIVE MODES).

PULL DON’T ROLL!
The Microlino does not have a parking function. Because of this,
it is necessary to pull the handbrake fully until the last click
every time you park.
Stop, select neutral gear & pull the handbrake.
Also make sure that you release the handbrake when driving off.
When the handbrake is applied, the symbol is shown in the
display.
IMPORTANT!
The vehicle cannot be operated at a cell temperature below
-18° Celsius. At low outside temparatures, the vehicle should
therefore be stored in a closed or heated place.

05 DRIVE MODES
06 MULTIMEDIA
To the left of the steering wheel is a dial with which the driving speed
can be set. To select the driving modes the brake pedal must be
pressed.

R = Reverse gear
= Sport mode
The sport mode can be selected with the rocket button in the centre of
the dial. The current driving level is shown in the display.
ENERGY RECUPERATION
The vehicle recuperates energy both when the brake pedal is
pressed and when the accelerator pedal is released.
DISPLAY
The display shows all driving-relevant data as well as warning symbols.
The touch bar can be used to switch between a modern and
retro display.
TOUCHBAR
The touchbar is used to operate all functions and adjust the settings.
Tap on the symbols to activate/deactivate them. With the
ventilation symbol, the fan strength can be adjusted to three different
levels by tapping several times. Swiping to the left reveals
further functions.
IMPORTANT!
If the vehicle is fully charged or the battery cell temperature is
lower than -5° Celsius, energy recuperation may be limited to
preserve the battery and electronic components. During deceleration
due to recuperation, which occurs when the accelerator
pedal is released, the brake lights do NOT illuminate.
SPEAKER
The Microlino has a portable Bluetooth speaker. When the
speaker is connected to the USB cable, it switches on automatically
as soon as the vehicle is started. Search for Microlino
in the Bluetooth settings of your smartphone and connect it to the
speaker.

07 CHARGING
The Microlino has a Type 2 charging port and can be charged
with the appropriate cable at a wallbox, public AC charging station
or a household socket. The on-board charger has an output
of 2.2 kW. Charging at a DC fast charging station is not possible.
WALLBOX / PUBLIC CHARGING STATION:
1. Open the charging flap on the vehicle and pull off the grommet
from the charging connection.
2. Unlock the vehicle
3. Connect the type 2 cable on the wallbox side
4. If necessary, activate the wallbox with the corresponding
card/CHIP or APP.
5. As soon as the wallbox is ready to charge, connect the Type 2
charging cable to the vehicle.
6. Check the charging process visually. The charging bar
shows the charging process in the instrument cluster with a
pulsating movement of the charging bar from left to right.
7. Lock the vehicle.
DOMESTIC CHARGER (ICCB CHARGER):
1. Open the charging flap on the vehicle and remove the grommet
from the charging connector.
2. Connect the charger to the household socket
3. Check the current setting (max. 8A is permissible).
4. Check the charger’s readiness for charging (if the control
LED lights up, the unit is in an error state --> see quick
fixes).
5. Plug in the connector on the vehicle
6. Check the charging process visually. The charging bar
shows the charging process in the instrument cluster with a
pulsating movement of the charging bar from left to right.
7. Lock the vehicle
ATTENTION!
END THE CHARGING PROCESS:
1. Unlock the vehicle (also unlocks the charging cable).
2. Unlocking of the charging cable can take up to 10 seconds.
3. Unplug the cable from the vehicle
4. Remove the cable from the AC wallbox or household socket.
PUBLIC CHARGING:
The public charging points can be found on the applications of
the charging card providers. Popular providers with access to all
major charging networks include:
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
At a cell temperature from -5°C or lower, charging is
not possible. In this case, we recommend driving the vehicle
briefly to bring the cell temperature (not the same as the
outside temperature) to a level suitable for charging.
When charging at the household socket using an ICCB
charger (In-Cable Control Box or also “Domestic Charger”),
select a maximum current of 8 amps.
We strongly recommend that you never leave the vehicle
connected to the wallbox or the ICCB charger for
more than 48 hours and ideally only for the charging
time actually required. In rare cases if not done, it may occur
that the 12V battery discharges and the vehicle can no
longer be started.
Never connect the ICCB cable to an extension cable or
adapter plug! Due to the increased resistance, this can lead
to a cable fire.

08 DRIVING LIGHTS & HORN
09 BATTERY OFF SWITCH
The Microlino is equipped with parking lights, daytime running
lights, low and high beams, brake lights and direction indicators.
The arrangement of the driving light switch is as follows:
Lowest position
Middle position
Top position

= Daytime running light
= Parking light
= Low beam / high beam
= Horn
If the vehicle is not in use for for more than one week, the 12
V battery must be disconnected from the system using the
battery-off switch. This prevents it from discharging during
the standstill period.
The electrochemical self-discharge of the 12V battery cannot
be prevented even if the 12V main switch is deactivated.
It is recommended to connect a 12V battery charger when
the vehicle is not used for a longer period of time.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
The vehicle does not have a dusk sensor. This means, that
the low beam is NOT activated automatically when it gets
darker and must be switched on manually.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
In the OFF or OUT position of the 12V battery disconnect
switch, the vehicle can no longer be electronically
unlocked or opened. When using the vehicle again,
it must therefore be unlocked manually via the lock on the
front door (apply light pressure to the front door when unlocking)
and then the battery must be reactivated via the
switch in the boot. The boot cannot be opened if the 12 V
battery is switched off. The battery switch must be switched
on from the front.

IMPORTANT NOTES!
EXCEEDING THE MAXIMUM SPEED
IMPORTANT!
The tightening torque of the wheels must be 40Nm
and may not exceed this value not exceed this value.
Otherwise, the rims may be damaged.
VEHICLE DOES NOT CHARGE
Quick fix 1 Check if there is a fault with the ICCB charger.
In this case, the indicator LED will light up on the charger.
Ensure that the correct current (max. 8A) is selected on the
charger in the event of an error. To reset the error message, the
charger must be unplugged from both the household socket
and the vehicle and then plugged back in.
VEHICLE IDENTIFICATION
The vehicle identification number (VIN) is stamped into the chassis.
Visible under the carpet in the passenger compartment (passenger
side).
TOWING HOOK
The towing hook is located under the boot carpet. It is mounted on
the front of the vehicle. For this, the cover in the front bumper must
be removed.
WHEELS AND TYRES
• Recommended tyre pressure 1.8 bar (front and rear)
• Tightening torque wheels (steel rims) 40 Nm
If the legally allowed maximum speed of 90 km/h is exceeded, a
warning message (01) appears on the display. Please reduce the
vehicle speed as soon as the warning message appears.
If you continue without reducing the speed, the vehicles propulsion
will be restricted (the vehicle stops) and must be enabled again by
switching the ignition off and on!

SIDE WINDOW
At temperatures below 0° Celsius, the side window guide
may freeze. Please do not apply increased force, as otherwise
damage to the closing device cannot be ruled out.
TROUBLESHOOTING
VEHICLE DOES NOT DRIVE
Quick fix 1 Make sure that the door is completely closed
(soft-close).
Quick fix 2 Remove the ignition key, wait approx. one minute
and turn the ignition key back to the driving position.
Quick fix 2 Set the charging power on the ICCB charger to
the lowest amperage.
Quick fix 3 Try a different socket.
Quick fix 4 Disconnect the charging plug. Turn the 12V switch
to OFF, wait approx. five minutes (or until the illuminated ring
around the USB ports in the front door goes out) and then
turn the 12V switch back to ON.
If the charging process does not start despite the listed remedies
and neither an extension cable nor an adapter has been used,
please contact an authorized Microlino workshop or consult a
professional to check the electrical installation.
Quick fix 3 Turn the 12V switch to OFF, wait approx. five minutes
(or until the illuminated ring around the USB ports in
the front door goes out) and then turn the 12V switch
back to ON.

02 ÖFFNEN & SCHLIESSEN DER TÜRE
ENTRIEGELUNG VON AUSSEN:
• Elektrisch: Mit der Funkfernbedienung entriegeln und anschliessend
Druckknopf an der rechten Fahrzeugaussenseite
(01) betätigen.
• Manuell: Aussen an der rechten Fahrzeugseite den Schlüssel
im Uhrzeigersinn um 90° Grad drehen. Dabei die Vordertür
leicht gegen das Fahrzeug drücken.
ENTRIEGELUNG VON INNEN:
• Elektrisch: Durch Betätigen des Druckknopfs hinter der mittleren
Leiste im Armaturenbrett (02)
• Manuell: Durch Ziehen der Notentriegelungsschlaufe, welche
sich auf der Beifahrerseite unter dem Teppich befindet.
KOFFERRAUMENTRIEGELUNG:
• Von aussen mit der Funkfernbedienung. Der Öffnungsknopf
muss hierfür während 3-5 Sekunden gedrückt gehalten
werden
• Von innen mit dem Öffnungs-Symbol über die Touch-Bar

PUSH DON’T SLAM!
Dein Microlino verfügt über ein Soft-close-System. Bitte beachte, dass
du die Fronttüre beim Schliessen immer nur leicht zudrückst, die
komplette Schliessung erfolgt dann automatisch über das Soft-close-
System. So schützt du Innenraum-Komponenten vor Erschütterungen und
verlängerst Ihre Lebensdauer.
ÖFFNUNGSWINKEL
Bitte beachte, dass die Tür aufgrund der Gasdruckfeder automatisch
bis zum maximalen Öffnungswinkel öffnet. Aus diesem Grund sollte
die Öffnung der Tür stets durch Halten an der Schlaufe verlangsamt
werden, um Beschädigungen zu vermeiden. Der maximale Öffnungswinkel
beträgt 60cm gegen vorne und 190cm nach oben.

03 START DES FAHRZEUGES
04 PARKING
Zum Start des Fahrzeuges den Zündschlüssel in die Fixposition
1 oder 2 drehen. Auf dem Display erscheint anschliessend die
Anzeige «Ready» (01). Das Fahrzeug ist nun betriebsbereit.
Die dritte Zündschlüsselposition (nicht einrastend) ist ohne Funktion.
Vor der Fahrt bitte darauf achten, dass die Handbremse
gelöst wird (siehe hierzu Kapitel 04 PARKEN). Anschliessend
das Bremspedal betätigen und den gewünschten Gang wählen
(siehe hierzu Kapitel 05 FAHRMODI).

PULL DON’T ROLL!
Der Microlino verfügt über keine Parkfunktion. Aufgrund dessen
ist es notwendig, dass du bei jedem Parkvorgang die Handbremse
bis zum letzten Klick vollständig anziehst. Anhalten, Neutralgang
wählen & die Handbremse anziehen. Achte dich auch
beim Losfahren darauf, dass du die Handbremse wieder löst.
Wenn die Handbremse angezogen ist, wird im Display das
Symbol angezeigt.
WICHTIG!
Das Fahrzeug kann bei einer Batteriezelltemperatur unter
-18° Celsius nicht mehr betrieben werden. Bei niedrigen
Aussentemperaturen sollte das Fahrzeug daher an einem geschlossenen
oder beheizten Ort untergebracht werden.

FAHRMODI
Links neben dem Lenkrad befindet sich eine Wählscheibe mit der sich
die Fahrstufe einstellen lässt. Um die Fahrstufe auszuwählen muss das
Bremspedal gedrückt sein.

Mit dem mittig auf der Wählscheibe ersichtlichen Raketen-Knopf, kann
der Sportmodus angewählt werden. Die aktuelle Fahrstufe wird im
Display angezeigt
REKUPERATION
Das Fahrzeug rekuperiert beim Betätigen des Bremspedals sowie
auch beim Loslassen des Fahrpedals.
WICHTIG!
Wenn das Fahrzeug voll geladen oder die Zelltemperatur
der Batterie kleiner als -5° Celsius ist, kann
die Rekuperation eingeschränkt sein um die Batterie
und die elektronischen Komponenten zu schonen. Während
der Verzögerung durch die Rekuperation, die beim
Loslassen des Fahrpedals erfolgt, leuchten die Bremsleuchten
NICHT auf.
DISPLAY
Das Display zeigt alle fahrrelevanten Daten sowie Warnsymbole an.
Über das zentrale Bedienelement (Touchbar) kann zwischen moderner
und Retro-Anzeige umgeschaltet werden.
TOUCHBAR
Über die Touchbar werden alle Funktionen bedient und die Einstellungen
vorgenommen. Tippe auf die Symbole, um sie zu aktivieren/
deaktivieren. Beim Lüftungssymbol kann die Lüfterstärke durch mehrmaliges
Antippen in drei Stufen eingestellt werden. Durch Wischen
nach links werden weitere Funktionen angezeigt.
LAUTSPRECHER
Der Microlino verfügt über einen tragbaren Bluetooth-Lautsprecher.
Wenn der Lautsprecher mit dem USB-Kabel verbunden ist,
schaltet er sich automatisch ein, sobald das Fahrzeug gestartet
wird. Suche in den Bluetooth-Einstellungen deines Smartphones nach
Microlino und verbinde es mit dem Lautsprecher.

07 ABLAUF LADEVORGANG
Der Microlino verfügt über einen Typ 2 Ladeanschluss und kann
mit dem entsprechenden Kabel sowohl an einer Wallbox, öffentlichen
AC-Ladestation, sowie auch einer Haushaltssteckdose
aufgeladen werden. Der On-board-Charger verfügt über eine
maximale Ladeleistung von 2.2 kW. Das Aufladen an einer DC-
Schnelladestation ist nicht möglich.
WALLBOX / ÖFFENTLICHE LADESTATION:
1. Ladeklappe am Fahrzeug öffnen und Tülle vom Ladeanschluss
abziehen
2. Fahrzeug verriegeln
3. Typ 2 Kabel Wallboxseitig anschliessen
4. Wallbox falls nötig freischalten mit dazugehörender Karte/
CHIP oder APP
5. Sobald die Wallbox Ladebereit ist Typ2 Ladekabel mit dem
Fahrzeug verbinden
6. Ladevorgang optisch prüfen. Der Ladebalken zeigt im
Kombiiinstrument den Ladevorgang mit einer von links nach
rechts pulsierenden Bewegung des Ladebalkens an.
HAUSHALTSSTECKDOSE (ICCB-LADEGERÄT):
1. Ladeklappe am Fahrzeug öffnen und Tülle vom Ladeanschuss
abziehen
2. Ladegerät an der Haushaltssteckdose anschliessen
3. Eingestellte Stromstärke prüfen (max. 8A sind zulässig)
4. Ladebereitschaft am Ladegerät prüfen (bei rotem Aufleuchten
der LED, befindet sich das Gerät in einem
Fehlerzustand --> siehe Abhilfe)
5. Stecker am Fahrzeug einstecken
6. Ladevorgang optisch prüfen. Der Ladebalken zeigt im
Kombiiinstrument den Ladevorgang mit einer von links nach
rechts pulsierenden Bewegung des Ladebalkens an.
7. Fahrzeug verriegeln
ACHTUNG!
Schliesse das ICCB Kabel niemals an an ein Verlängerungskabel
oder Adapterstecker an! Aufgrund des
erhöhten Widerstandes kann dies zu einem Kabelbrand
führen.
LADEVORGANG BEENDEN:
1. Fahrzeug entriegeln (entriegelt auch das Ladekabel)
Das Entriegeln des Ladekabels kann bis zu 10 Sekunden dauern.
2. Kabel am Fahrzeug ausstecken
3. Kabel von der AC-Wallbox oder Haushaltssteckdose entnehmen
ZUSÄTZLICHE INFORMATIONEN:
Bei einer Zelltemperatur ab -5°C oder niedriger, ist
das Laden nicht möglich. In diesem Fall empfehlen wir
kurz mit dem Fahrzeug zu fahren um die Zelltemperatur
(nicht gleich Aussentemperatur) auf ein ladetaugliches Level
zu bringen.
Bei Ladung an der Haushaltsteckdose mittels ICCB-Ladegerät
(In-Cable Control Box oder auch „Haushaltsladegerät“)
ist eine maximale Stromstärke von 8 Ampere
auszuwählen.
Wir empfehlen dringend das Fahrzeug nie über 48h und
idealerweise nur während der effektiv benötigten
Ladedauer an der Wallbox oder dem ICCB-Charger
zu lassen. Andernfalls kann es in selten Fällen passieren,
dass sich die 12V-Batterie entlädt und das Fahrzeug nicht
mehr gestartet werden kann.

08 FAHRLICHT & HUPE
09 12V BATTERIE-TRENNSCHALTER
Der Microlino ist mit Standlicht, Tagfahrlicht, Abblend- und Fernlicht,
Bremslicht sowie den Richtungsblinkern ausgestattet.
Die Anordnung des Fahrlichtschalters ist wie folgt:

= Abblendlicht/Fernlicht
= Signalhorn
ZUSÄTZLICHE INFORMATIONEN:
Das Fahrzeug verfügt über keinen Dämmerungssensor. D.h.
wird das Abblendlicht beim Eindunkeln NICHT automatisch
aktiviert und muss manuell eingeschaltet werden.
Bei mehr als einer Woche Standzeit muss mit dem Batterie-Trennschalter die
12-V Batterie vom System getrennt werden. Dies minimiert die Entladung der
12V Batterie während der Standzeit. Die elektrochemische Selbstentladung
der 12V Batterie kann auch bei deaktiviertem Trennschalter nicht verhindert
werden. Bei langen Standzeiten wird empfohlen ein 12V Batterieladegerät
anzuschliessen.
ZUSÄTZLICHE INFORMATIONEN:
In der Stellung OFF oder OUT des 12V
Batterietrennschalters, kann das Fahrzeug
nicht mehr elektronisch entriegelt
oder geöfnet werden. Um das Fahrzeug
von Aussen zu öffnen muss ein leichter Druck
auf die Vordertür ausgeübt werden und der
Schlüssel im Uhrzeigersinn gedreht werden
(siehe S.16). Anschliessend vom Fahrersitz
aus nach hinten greifen und den 12V Batterie-
Trennschalter auf die ON-Position drehen.

10 WICHTIGE HINWEISE &
PROBLEMBEHEBUNG
WICHTIGE HINWEISE!
FAHRZEUGIDENTIFIKATION
Die Fahrzeugidentifikationsnummer (VIN) ist im Fahrgestell eingestanzt.
Ersichtlich unter dem Teppich im Fahrgastraum (Beifahrerseite).
ABSCHLEPPHAKEN
Der Abschlepphaken befindet sich unter dem Kofferraumteppich.
Montiert wird er an der rechten Fahrzeugfront. Hierfür muss
die Abdeckung in der Frontstossstange entfernt werden.
RÄDER UND REIFEN
• Empfohlener Reifendruck 1.8 bar (vorne und hinten)
• Anzugsdrehmoment Räder (Stahlfelgen) 40 Nm
WICHTIG!
Das Anzugsdrehmoment der Räder muss exakt 40Nm
betragen und darf diesen Wert Wert nicht überschreiten.
Ansonsten kann es zu Beschädigungen der
Felgen kommen.
ÜBERSCHREITEN DER MAXIMALGESCHWINDIGKEIT
Beim überschreiten der gesetzlich vorgeschriebenen Höchstgeschwindigkeit
von 90km/h erscheint im Kombiinstrument ein
Warnhinweis (01). Senke bitte die Fahrzeuggeschwindigkeit,
sobald der Warnhinweis erscheint.
Bei anhaltender Missachtung des Warnhinweises wird der Vortriebs
des Fahrzeuges eingeschränkt (das Fahrzeug stoppt) und
muss durch das Aus- und Einschalten der Zündung erneut freigegeben
werden!

SEITENFENSTER
Bei Temperaturen unter 0° Celsius, kann es vorkommen, dass
die Führung der Seitenfenster einfriert. Bitte keinen erhöhten
Kraftaufwand anwenden, da anonsten Beschädigungen an
der Schliessvorrichtung nicht auszuschliessen sind.

Vergewissere dich, dass die Türe vollständig
geschlossen ist (Soft-close).
Zündschlüssel abziehen ca. eine Minute warten
und den Zündschlüssel wieder in Fahrtposition
drehen.
12V Batterie-Trennschalter auf OFF drehen, ca. fünf
Minuten warten (oder bis der beleuchtete Ring um
die USB-Anschlüsse in der Fronttüre erlischt)
und anschliessend den 12V Batterie-Trennschalter
wieder auf ON drehen.

FAHRZEUG LÄDT NICHT
Abhilfe 1 Überprüfe, ob ein Fehler am ICCB-Ladegerät
vorliegt. Die Kontroll-LED leuchtet in diesem Fall auf dem Ladegerät
auf. Prüfe, ob im Fehlerfall die korrekte Stromstärke (max.
8A) am Ladegerät ausgewählt ist. Um die Fehlermeldung zurückzusetzen,
muss das Ladegerät Steckdosen- und Fahrzeugseitig
ausgesteckt und erneut eingesteckt werden.

OFF drehen, ca. fünf Minuten warten (oder bis der
beleuchtete Ring um die USB-Anschlüsse in der
Fronttüre erlischt) und anschliessend den
12V Batterie-Trennschalter wieder auf ON drehen.
Wenn trotz der aufgeführten Abhilfen der Ladevorgang nicht
startet und weder ein Verlängerungskabel noch ein Adapter
verwendet worden ist, wenden Sie sich bitte an einen autorisierte
Microlino-Werkstatt oder ziehen Sie einen Fachmann für die
Überprüfung der Elektroinstallation bei.
