Here we are with issue 75. Only weeks away from a solid 1 year publishing #SHILL zine for the Solana
ecosystem.
This last week has been interesting. Very interesting.
On Tuesday afternoon whilst driving home from work I flicked Twitter on and jumped into a space hosted by
A2KDeFi. Humble me, listening in and then he asks if anyone from the ASIA region wanted to hop on. Asia-
Pacific qualifies right? So I hop on thinking I might drop #SHILL zine as a topic of conversation. Before I get to
speak, A2K introduces me as Pixeltoy from #SHILL zine. A2K from exchange.art knows about #SHILL zine?!?!
He goes on to explain how he loves the zine and questions why it's not an NFT or subscription. Honestly, I
never thought that anyone would pay to read #SHILL zine. I mean, I know it's a worthwhile magazine that has
proven itself over the year but I never thought that the public would pay a couple of $dollars to have access to
it each week.
Maybe. I'm not convinced just yet. My 2022 goal is to get #SHILL to 10k views per week. So far it is proving to
be a challenge!
I know that issue 100 will have to be some sort of paid version. If the issue goes to press it won't be for free.
Otherwise, #SHILL zine has locked away a good handful of NFTs this week. The next 10 pages highlight what I
picked up. Newcomer @EvwibeaL, @DestroyStairs, #BlockFramez for photography, @DavidLoh and @Pontes
to name a few. Add to these the final drop from the URS Crowns initiative and that builds out the wallet with a
further 2 pieces!
Before you know it, this issue has blown out to 160 pages.
A whole lot of content in this issue. NFTs to tickle your senses. Alpha to contemplate. Stories you may have
missed. It's good to know that at the end of the week you can rely on #SHILL zine to package it all up in one
convenient magazine that you can access when you are ready.

New Series Announcement
The series of editions is based on the women of Dream City in response to a simple question. What would the reaction
be to the decision to overturn Roe v. Wade in the US? In everyday life, people handle these types of decisions in different
ways.
Some turn inward to battle feelings alone, toward their faith or spirituality, others protest, turn to outrage, and some
simply chemically alter their mental state through drugs and alcohol. My way of working through these feelings is to
create.

Why Editions:
I thought it would be a fun way to potentially lower overall costs for acquiring a piece of work. I also like the idea of raffling
off the physical/original artwork.
Donations:
I’ll be donating 10% of the sales from the collection toward women’s reproductive rights organizations. (Example: National
Network of Abortion Funds.)

Why should anyone ape into Infected Mob? A With the impending Infected Bear drop, now is the time to ape in. There

MAGNUM AI FAMILY, we have had several members of the community reach
out about the inconsistency of development updates. We take responsibility for
the lack of information shared recently. Moving forward, we will provide back
end and front-end progress on a more consistent basis. This overhaul has taken a
long time and spread our team thin due to the amount of work being completed
by a small group. Through this process, we have learned how to better manage
our time and how to tackle multiple roadmap points more efficiently. Without a
doubt, there has been a HUGE learning curve for our entire team, but we truly
enjoy taking on new challenges and growing together!
Let’s start with staking
The developers have overhauled staking to make it more user friendly and safe.
We had the contract audited by Soteria and have passed their safety inspection
after working together on the contract.
What new additions have been added to staking thus far, aside from safety
features?
- Batch staking and unstaking. Which means you can stake or unstake more than (1) NFT at a time.
- A collect early function, which allows users to collect MAGAI before the end of the staking period.
- You no longer need to unstake twice, before it was once for MAGAI tokens, and once for the NFT itself. Now it is (1) transaction in total.
- A more polished user interface with relevant NFT information
- plus the page is A LOT easier to navigate.
- Hugely improved staking and unstaking speeds from updating the contract and back-end processes.
Several days ago, I delayed the staking release further because of a new feature that I wanted to add from community
feedback.
- MAGAI rewards will continue being earned even if the 1-, 2- or 4-week staking period has ended. For example, if you
forget to unstake or want to leave your Magnum staked for a longer period, the rewards will continue being earned until
your Magnum has been unstaked.
The goal is to have the updated staking available by the end of next week. We will
provide an update if there are any issues that delay the process further. Thank you
for your patience!
What other development updates should we expect after staking?
- The Art Upgrader - which will allow holders to swap static Magnums to have
animated features. While the art upgrader has taken a back seat to other developments,
like staking, we have already made strong progress with the code and
believe we can ship this quickly (don’t quote me). Once the updated staking is
delivered, this will be where we shift our focus and our next deliverable for the
community! What else, what else?
- The website V2 rollout will include an updated UI, polished features across the
website, and new exciting additions!
- There will be an updated Marketplace, built on-chain and without many of the
errors you experience with the current marketplace. We will also be adding the ability to auction.
This announcement ended up being far longer than we expected, with that in mind, we will be sharing another post in
the near future to talk more about where Magnum is headed past these website developments. This post will include
more information about the GEN2 we have hinted at several times in the past. We have made significant progress on the
GEN2, but it is still a way out from being complete! It’s crazy to reflect on how much time has passed since we minted
Magnum, and we are actually very close to finishing our V1 roadmap. While that’s the reality of the situation, we don’t
have any plans to stop, and will continue building on Solana.

There are few NFTs on Solana that catch my eye. Liberty Square was not one of them...
Until recently.
Liberty Square is not your typical PFP project.
Liberty Square is a movement; a breath of fresh air from the cash-grabs and slow-rugs that plague the ecosystem we call
home.
Team: They began building in 2021. It’s a business - born to scale with no intention of slowing down.
The phone call with the team was eye-opening. The founder has tons of experience and the team truly respects his
vision. They don’t always agree. They keep it real and they’re passionate about Liberty.
They set a golden standard all projects should seriously strive for.
It would be wise to pay attention to this team. Take note of their process and execution.
This isn’t a team of kids in over their heads.
These are business professionals with decades of real experience.
This, combined with their approach to growth and “best in the world” mentality is a combination that tends to brew
success.
It doesn’t happen overnight. They know that. But they want to make it happen.
Community: They’re bizarre, friendly and very, VERY loud.
But most importantly - they believe in the vision.
I like the #gitrekt hashtag. It’s simple, yet efficient.
And honestly, they have the most inviting discord server I have ever come across since FFF.
Art: What initially threw me off LS was the art.
I thought it was odd-looking and I didn’t find it PFP worthy until I dug a bit deeper.
The good pieces are GOOD and it’s undeniable that the art is original and ties in perfectly with the lore.
It’s grown on me.
Utility: You can earn merchandise by staking. They also have raffles, auctions and airdrops.
And since Liberty is a lore-driven project, they’ve brought an Eisner-Winning Author on to help develop it.
I don’t see many projects doing this at all.
Potential: So what’s my final verdict?
I don’t buy into just anything. I put my money
where my mouth is. I think this project has what it
takes to do well long term.
I believe in their approach and will buy more
based upon execution. It’s a bet I’m willing to
take.

Gothic Degens is a 4444 NFT collection that minted on June 9th, at a 0.069 SOL mint price. Just 10 days ago, the Gothic
Degens were at a 3.9 SOL price (August 31st). On Sept 9th, they reach a high 10 SOL floor again!The progress has been
impressive!

@GothicDegens has a very active, tight-close community: holders usually show support on social media, and their raids
on social posts are very usual! Gothic Degen’s art is also unique: their art has a melancholic touch that simultaneously
features the crypto NFT movement.
Now, what does 246 mean?The Gothic Degens account has been tweeting many times the 246 number, and the holders
as well. Many of us were curious to know what it is! It turns out 246 means the number of NFTs that their art collab with
