At Hong Kong Academy, our holistic approach to education means that we nurture and celebrate the
many ways in which students grow as learners. We use the International Baccalaureate Middle Years
and Diploma Programmes to develop innovative and future-focussed learning experience that invite
students to apply their knowledge, understanding and skills in real-world contexts. Students develop
research, collaboration and critical thinking skills as they identify and pursue the best-fit pathway
leading to their post-secondary aspirations. Accredited by the Council of International Schools and
the Western Association of Schools and Colleges, we are commited to ensuring that we remain at the
forefront of international education.

FACILITY
MULTIPLE CREDENTIALS UPON GRADUATION
All HKA graduates earn two credentials, and the majority graduate with three. The HKA Diploma is
a credit-based diploma recognised by universities and colleges around the world. We are the only
school in Hong Kong to offer the Global Citizen Diploma (GCD), a graduation requirement that
showcases how HKA students demonstrate intercultural communication, community engagement and
global understanding through a portfolio-based qualification. Over 90% of our students select to take
courses in the IB Diploma, an internationally recognised external qualification that provides a broad
and balanced academically rigorous programme.

IB DIPLOMA RESULTS
Hong Kong Academy is non-competitive in its admissions, and we support any student who is interested in pursuing the
full IB Diploma to do so. Candidates for the full IBDP can earn a maximum of 45 points, and HKA students consistently
outperform the world pass rate and average total points.
