Supporting your successful career p<strong>at</strong>h<br />
BUSY At <strong>Work</strong> is the contracted provider to deliver this pilot program in the st<strong>at</strong>e of Queensland.<br />
The program has three entry points:<br />
• ‘Stepping Back In’ Supports people who have left work to undertake caring<br />
responsibilities for 6 months or more and are now looking to return to paid<br />
employment.<br />
• ‘Stepping Up’ Supports carers who have returned to the paid workforce within the<br />
past 18 months after spending 6 months or more undertaking caring responsibilities.<br />
• ‘General Entry’ provides access to the program if you are an existing worker in a<br />
design<strong>at</strong>ed industry;<br />
o Accommod<strong>at</strong>ion and Food Services<br />
o Educ<strong>at</strong>ion and Training<br />
o Arts and Recre<strong>at</strong>ion Services<br />
o Retail Trade<br />
o Administr<strong>at</strong>ive and Support Services<br />
o Residential Care Services<br />
o Child Care Services<br />
Wh<strong>at</strong> does the program involve?<br />
<strong>Work</strong>ing one-on-one with a BUSY At <strong>Work</strong> Career Guide, Participants receive:<br />
• a free skills and employment assessment,<br />
• tailored career advice and coaching sessions,<br />
• a customised Skills, Training and Employment Plan (STEP) in line with your<br />
employment goals,<br />
• potential funding of up to $3,000 to support training, if this is the recommend<strong>at</strong>ion in<br />
your STEP.<br />
Am I eligible?<br />
To be eligible for the program, you need to hold:<br />
• Australian Citizenship or<br />
• Permanent Residency Visa or<br />
• New Zealand Citizenship and living in Australia prior 26 th February 2001<br />
