Announces “Show & Tell”<br />
Program<br />
The <strong>Franklin</strong> Art Association<br />
will hold their monthly meeting<br />
on Wednesday, <strong>December</strong> 7th at<br />
6:30 p.m. Members and friends<br />
are asked to bring samples of<br />
their current artwork to talk<br />
about their techniques, inspiration<br />
and mediums. Beverages<br />
and snacks will be served, and<br />
holiday music will create a festive<br />
atmosphere. The public is invited<br />
to learn about the creative<br />
process and see what association<br />
members have been working on.<br />
Meetings are held at the<br />
<strong>Franklin</strong> Senior Center the first<br />
Wednesday of every month September<br />

Tickets for this year’s Raffle<br />
Quilt “Blue Plate Specials.”<br />
The Raffle Quilt features 42<br />
Dresden plates in a variety of<br />
beautiful blues, greens, purples<br />
and more. The quilt measures<br />
81 X 93 inches and was cooperatively<br />
made by over 35 guild<br />
members. It was designed by<br />
Laura Rosenspan and quilted<br />
by Diana R. Annis, a nationally<br />
known long arm quilter. Tickets<br />
are 3 for $5 and $2 each.<br />
Raffle ticket sales support the<br />
guild’s philanthropy, specifically<br />
to purchase fabric and batting for<br />
the over 100 Comfort<br />
Quilts a year that<br />
are supplied to local<br />
homeless shelters, nursing<br />
homes,<br />
college counseling<br />
centers, pediatric ICUs,<br />
veterans and foster care<br />
agencies.<br />
