Forster Rohner Group develops and produces exclusive embroidery for Haute Couture, prêt-à-porter,

lingerie, swim- and loungewear as well as interior. The family-run St.Gallen company, founded in

In der Geschäftseinheit Forster Rohner Textile Innovations werden fundierte Kenntnisse aus der

Materialwissenschaft mit visionärer Stickereitechnologie und Elektronik vereint.

In mehrjähriger Forschungsarbeit entwickelte Forster Rohner Textile Innovations ein industrielles

Herstellungsverfahren für die Integration von LED-Technologie auf Stoffen. Das leitfähige

Garn, die speziellen LED-Elemente und das Applikationsverfahren wurden eigens entwickelt,

um Stoffe zum Leuchten zu bringen und eine effektvolle Raumatmosphäre zu schaffen.

Neben dem Geschäftsbereich Licht widmet sich Forster Rohner Textile Innovations den Bereichen

Heizen und Sensorik.

In the business unit Forster Rohner Textile Innovations, profound knowledge of materials science is

combined with visionary embroidery technology and electronics.

During several years of research work, Forster Rohner Textile Innovations developed an industrial

manufacturing process for the integration of LED technology into fabrics. The conductive yarn, the special

LED elements and the application method were specially developed to illuminate fabrics and to create

a sensational atmosphere in any room.

Alongside illumination, Forster Rohner Textile Innovations also focuses on the fields of heating and sensor

technology.

Lichttextilien setzen sich aus den drei Komponenten Textil, Stickereidesign und Lichtmotiv zusammen

und werden auf Bestellung, Anwendung und Bemassung gefertigt.

Illuminated textiles comprise three components: textile, embroidery design and light motif. Each illuminated

textile is made to suit the respective order, application and dimensions.

TEXTIL

Die Grundlage für e-broidery ® ILLUMINATION bildet

ein bestickbares Trägermaterial – meist Textil. Dieses

bestimmt Anwendung, Optik, Haptik und gegebenenfalls

Hängeverhalten des Produkts.

TEXTILE

The basis for e-broidery ® ILLUMINATION is an embroiderable

base material – usually textile. This determines the product’s

application, look, feel and possibly hanging characteristics.

STICKEREIDESIGN

Die Stickerei erlaubt vielfältige Materialkombinationen

und Formensprachen. Sie definiert die Basis für das

Lichtmotiv. Das Stickereidesign ist aufgrund der Integration

der Stromführung in jedem Fall funktional, kann aber

zusätzlich auch eine dekorative Funktion haben.

EMBROIDERY DESIGN

Embroidery allows diverse material combinations and

languages of form. It defines the basis for the light motif.

Each embroidery design is by all means functional,

as conductive yarn is integrated, but it can also have a

decorative function.

Alloverdesigns haben kontinuierliche Stickerei-Muster über die gesamte Stofffläche. Sie bieten

die Möglichkeit vielfältiger Lichtmotive. Die konfektionierte Stoffbreite beträgt ca. 135 cm pro

Bahn. Für breitere Anwendungen werden mehrere Stoffbahnen zusammengenäht.

Allover designs have continuous embroidery patterns over the entire fabric. They offer the possibility of

diverse light motifs. After hemming, each panel is around 135 cm wide. For wider applications, several

panels are sewn together.

application and how control is to be realized, as well as the desired connection and finishing. Forster

BEDIENUNGSAUSFÜHRUNG

Die Bedienung kann manuell über einen Drucktastenknopf oder digital über diverse Schnittstellen

erfolgen. Für die manuelle Bedienung muss der gewünschte Ort für den Drucktastenknopf

festgelegt werden.

CONTROL

Control can occur manually via a push-button, or digitally via various interfaces. For manual control,
