Andaman Islands concept with an old house
which is slightly colonial, converted and
redecorated to follow the theme.

form pertaining
to health, lifestyle
and preference
details to facilitate
the consultant
in assigning
the appropriate
treatment and
pressure of massage.
Most of the rooms at Spa life come equipped
with Jaccuzzi, steam and sauna facilities.
An interesting and unique treatment “Guasha”
which is “horns of an animal’ in Chinese was
implemented by one of the earlier Taiwanese
consultants.
The horn of an animal is shaped flat with ridged
edges and used to scrape the skin at particular
points for detoxification.
The signature treatment is the ‘Golden Hot
Stone Therapy’ which involves oil mixed with
pure gold. The oil is presented in a candle from
and when lit, the wax returns to its oil form.
Once the warm oil is slowly poured on the
customer, the masseur begins a deep massage.

six flight attendants
got together and
decided that they

their own bosses

flight schedules.
Asked whether
this system of
management
has ever led to
confusion or
conflict, one of the
partners, Laksuree
Detrerkpan said “No, not really. Whoever was
the last person in charge emails a report to keep
others involved and updated, so the next person
can take over from there. Plus, we all manage our
schedules so that we can meet once a week, no
matter what time it is. If we disagree
on any topic we just put it to vote. The
whole procedure is truly democratic!”

of us are still flying is a bonus because
we get to see the latest trends across the
world and that keeps us innovative.”
