FROM THE MANAGER
IAN EVATT
WELCOME BACK TO THE UNIVERSITY OF BOLTON STADIUM FOR THIS
EVENING’S SKY BET LEAGUE ONE FIXTURE AGAINST FOREST GREEN ROVERS.
Playing on a Tuesday night on
our own patch straight after the
frustrating defeat at Pride Park
presents us with a good opportunity
to put things right very quickly.
Over recent weeks losing games
of football is something that we
have not become accustomed to
and it’s imperative that we put that
disappointment at Derby to the
backs of our minds and get that rare
feeling of a defeat out of system.
I thought we didn’t live up to the high
standards we have set ourselves and
they executed their game plan much
better than we did of ours.
We knew what was coming, we
knew the press was going to be
aggressive, we knew they would
come after us and that we would
have to be smart in tight areas and
recognise where the space was.
But I don’t think we asked their
centre-backs enough questions
and that isn’t down to the centreforwards;
it is just about putting the
ball in the right areas when we are
inviting that pressure.
I don’t think either team created lots
of chances, but they looked more
aggressive than we were, more
combative, and won too many first
contacts, too many second balls.
The game was still a tight one and
that is where the frustration kicks in
because if we had been anything
like where we can be then the
score would have been completely
different.
Our unbeaten run has come to
an end, but it’s up to us to go on
another long one and get as many
points as we can do.
Tonight gives us that chance but
Forest Green will be looking to
bounce back themselves from their
defeat at the weekend.
I’d like to welcome Ian Burchnall,
his staff and players, and all those
who have made their way up from
Gloucestershire for tonight’s game.
Last week, Dapo Afolayan left the
club and we’d like to wish him well
with his career in Germany. This
was very much a mutual decision.
It is not just down to us to sell, it is
a two-way street and it was a dual
decision.
As a manager, you always hear of
fees being branded around, but
any player is only worth what an
interested party is prepared to offer,
and we found the offer acceptable,
Dapo found their offer acceptable
and from that perspective, we shook
hands and we now move on.
Of course, we thank him very much
for everything he did for us, and he
has thanked us for all the help and
support that we have given him.
As one player left, we managed
to bring in another, and what an
exciting prospect we have in the
guise of Shola Shoretire who joined
us on loan from Manchester United
until the end of the season.
He will offer us something different
and we need different things to win
different football matches, especially
when teams are in that low block.
We need someone that can receive
centrally, win a one-v-one duel and
create, whether it be a pass or a
cross or a finish.
He’s a player I’ve been aware of and
admired for a long time, and we’ve
worked extremely hard to get him
here.
Getting any young player who is as
highly thought of as Shola is and
around Manchester United’s first
team isn’t going to be easy, but
United trust us with what we’re doing
and have seen what’s happened with
Conor Bradley and James Trafford,
for instance.
We’re delighted to have him and I’m
really looking forward to working
with him.
With a week to go until the transfer
window closes a lot of hard work
is going on behind the scenes as
we need one or two more. We have
identified people we want to sign
and we will do all we can to make it
happen.
Finally, I would like to wish Jon Dadi
Bodvarsson a speedy recovery from
the ankle injury he picked up last
week. He was just getting back to his
best form, as well.
We’ve had a disrupted time with
him this year and it’s unfortunate,
but we’ll give him all the support he
needs and look after his family.
He’s a pleasure to work with and
we’ll keep him around the group,
keep him focused, keep him positive
and look forward to welcoming back.
Enjoy the game,
Ian.

Wanderers suffered their first defeat in nine
matches at the hands of in-form Derby County at
Pride Park on Saturday afternoon.
In front of a near-capacity crowd of 30,000, the
Rams took an early lead just after the quarter-hour
mark with Nathaniel Mendez-Laing latching onto
Tom Barkhuizen’s cross to guide the ball past
James Trafford from close range.
The hosts gave themselves a two-goal cushion
midway through the second half when Conor
Hourihane fired into the back of the net from inside
the box at the end of swift counter-attacking move.
The Whites scored a consolation goal in the last
minute of added time when Kieran Sadlier lashed
a shot across Joe Wildsmith and into the bottom
corner after Dion Charles had forced Craig Forsyth
into surrendering possession as he looked to guide
the ball out for a goal kick.

THE SPINE OF THE TEAM
GOALKEEPER | LUKE McGEE
AGE: 27 | PREVIOUS CLUB: PORTSMOUTH
London-born stopper Luke McGee started out in the youth ranks at Tottenham
Hotspur but never made a senior appearance for the Lilywhites and instead made his
professional debut whilst on loan at Peterborough United during the 2016/17 season.
After making 45 appearances for the Posh during that campaign, McGee signed for
Portsmouth in a permanent move in the summer of 2017. Making 50 appearances for
Pompey during his first season at the club (2017/18), he lost his starting spot to Craig
MacGillivray the following campaign and after spending the second half of the 2019/20
season on loan at Bradford City, he moved to Forest Green Rovers in July 2020.
During two-and-a-half years at the New Lawn to date, McGee has made a total of 110
appearances.
CENTRE BACK/LEFT BACK | BAILY CARGILL
AGE: 27 | PREVIOUS CLUB: MK DONS
Spending time in the youth systems at Leicester City, Southampton, and AFC
Bournemouth, Cargill signed professional terms with the Cherries in 2012. Before
his eventual departure from Dean Court six years later, he had made a total of 11
appearances for the club.
During his time at AFC Bournemouth, the defender spent time on loan at AFC
Totton, Welling United, Torquay United, Coventry City, Gillingham, Fleetwood Town,
and Partick Thistle. Signing for MK Dons in August 2018, he made a total of 68
appearances (1 goal) during a two-and-a-half-year stay prior to a January 2021 move
to Forest Green Rovers. Two years into his time at the New Lawn, he has made a
total of 91 appearances (4 goals).
CENTRE MIDFIELDER | BEN STEVENSON
AGE: 25 | PREVIOUS CLUB: COLCHESTER UNITED
Stevenson’s first season at Forest Green Rovers could hardly have gone any better.
Regularly in the team following his move from Colchester United, he helped the club
secure the League Two title and promotion to the third tier for the first time in their history.
Coming through the youth system at Coventry City, the midfielder signed his first
professional contract in 2015 before making his debut in a League Cup victory against
Portsmouth in August 2016. Making a total of 48 appearances (3 goals) for the Sky Blues,
he moved to Wolves in January 2018 and after a loan at Colchester United, he signed for
the U’s on a permanent basis in January 2019.
After two-and-a-half years in Essex, he moved across the country to Gloucestershire in
June 2021.
STRIKER | JOSH MARCH
AGE: 25 | PREVIOUS CLUB: LEAMINGTON
March is enjoying a pretty successful season on a personal level, with 6 goals
to his name so far in a struggling Forest Green Rovers side. The striker started
out in non-league with Alvechurch and managed an impressive 81 goals in 184
appearances before signing for Leamington in 2019.
The forward’s form continued and after bagging 24 goals in 27 appearances for
the National League North side, he got his break in the professional game with
a move to Forest Green Rovers in January 2020. During his first full season at
the club (2020/21), he actually found his form whilst on loan at Harrogate Town
and managed 6 goals in 40 appearances for the Green last term as they won the
League Two title.

THE BOSS…
Beginning his coaching career in his early 20s, Burchnall moved to
Norway to become Brian Deane’s assistant manager at Sarpsborg in
2012. He spent two years there before moving to Viking to take up the
same role in 2014.
In 2018 he took caretaker charge of Swedish side Östersund before
taking up the role of manager on a permanent basis shortly afterwards –
succeeding Graham Potter who had left to take over at Swansea City.
In March 2021, the Leicester-born coach returned to England to take
charge of National League side Notts County. In his first full season
(2021/22), he guided the Magpies to the play-offs where they would
ultimately fall short with defeat to Grimsby Town. In May 2022, he
became Head Coach of Forest Green Rovers following Rob Edwards’
departure to Watford.

MARLAND’S
MUSINGS
Sixty years ago, the Wanderers
were in the middle of an
enforced lay-off due to the ‘Big
freeze’ that was to bring sport
in the country to a halt for three
months.
After defeating Tottenham, who
were to finish First Division
runners up, on December 8th
1962, at Burnden, thanks to an
88th minute winner from Peter
Deakin, the Wanderers managed
just one more League game
before March 9th 1963.
That one League fixture that
was played took place on 16th
February (pictured with Wyn
Davies taking on Laurie Brown)
when the undersoil heating at
Highbury meant that the fixture at
Arsenal could go ahead. Things
were that bad that the Wanderers
had travelled to Cork three days
earlier to get some match practice
in with a friendly 4-2 defeat
against Manchester United who
were to win the FA Cup.
Despite goals from Freddie Hill
and Dennis Butler, Bolton went
down 3-2 to Arsenal, things finally
getting back to normal on March
6th when a Third Round FA Cup
visit to Sheffield United was
played at the 13th attempt. The
Blades ran out 3-1 winners with
Francis Lee getting Wanderers
consolation.
Three days later the Yorkshire
side visited Burnden for a
First Division fixture
with Bolton gaining
revenge with a 3-2
success thanks to a
hat-trick from Freddie
Hill. Wanderers
forward line that
day had an average
age of just 19, the
youngest being Brian
Bromley who was
just 16 years old.
WANDERERS
MATTERS WITH
CLUB HISTORIAN
SIMON MARLAND…
THE BIG FREEZE OF 1962/63.
That game set the team off on
a run of 20 games in 69 days
to complete the season on May
17th. It wasn’t until May that the
Wanderers staved off any worries
of relegation with two home
wins in three days over FA Cup
Finalists Leicester City (pictured)
and Liverpool. Manchester City
and Leyton Orient were relegated.

Wanderers registered a hugely
important victory against fellow
promotion hopefuls Forest Green
Rovers in front of the Sky Sports
cameras at the New Lawn to put
Ian Evatt’s side into a prominent

of the season.
Nathan Delfouneso did brilliantly to

leading scorer Eoin Doyle to fire a
superb volley past Lewis Thomas
shortly before the break.
The win was the Whites’ 10th in 11

SHOLA
SHORETIRE
20 | The Wanderer 01204 328 888
AS PREPARATION GOES, A TASTE OF THE
PREMIER LEAGUE AND EUROPEAN FOOTBALL
ISN’T A BAD WAY TO START.
That’s what new loan signing
Shola Shoretire brings with him on
his CV to Wanderers.
And while his first-team exposure
at United currently amounts
to cameos off the bench, the
teenager believes the experience
will stand him in good stead for the
challenge that now awaits with the
Whites.
“Coming through the United
Academy you get a pathway. For
me to get my debut and break
a couple of records as well was
excellent,” said Shoretire – who
became the youngest player in
United’s illustrious history to play
European football when he came
off the bench in a Europa League
tie against Real Sociedad in
February, 2021.
“A lot of the pressure when I play
football has sort of gone now
because of the level I’ve had a bit
of an opportunity at.
“Coming here is just excitement.
There will be a couple of nerves
for the first few games. But I think
after that it will be perfect.”
Shoretire’s record-breaking
moment in Europe came between
his first two Premier League
appearances and last season
the 18-year-old also featured as
a substitute in the Champions
League and domestic top-flight.
While highly regarded and in and
around the senior set-up at Old
Trafford, Shoretire’s competitive
outings this term have come in the
Papa Johns Trophy with United’s
Under-21s.
He helped the young Reds
progress through the group stages
and then in the last 16 got a closeup
look at Wanderers as United’s
run ended with a 4-0 defeat at the
University of Bolton Stadium.
“It was quite a pleasant surprise
how good Bolton actually are,”
Shoretire admitted.
“We thought we might get a
draw, take it to penalties, but they
played some very good football
and similar to what we’ve played
at United. It was a great game to
develop and learn from.”
Having spent some eight years
progressing through United’s
Academy system, Newcastle-born
Shoretire will do his next learning
with Wanderers after signing on
loan for the rest of the season.
The forward or attacking midfield
player in the ‘number 10’ mould
will add an extra dimension to
Wanderers’ attacking play as
someone capable of running with
the ball and punching holes in
opposing defences.
And, for the time being at least,
he’s happy to be switching sides to
take another important step in his
burgeoning career.
“After that game (in the Trophy) was
only when I found out Bolton had
some interest and I was delighted
really because it’s a great
opportunity,” Shoretire added.

“It’s key to play first-team football
and get the experience and to
prove yourself that you’re ready –
physically and mentally.
“Coming here at 18 I’m transitioning
into the men’s game, which is
exactly what I needed. Hopefully,
I will have a good loan here and
come back to United in a good
place.”
It should be a mutually beneficial
move as Wanderers continue a
blueprint that is proving highly
successful.
Shoretire is the latest highly-rated
Premier League prospect to link
up with the Whites as Wanderers
continue to foster good relations
with some of the biggest clubs in
the country - notably in the North-
West.
With goalkeeper James Trafford
on board from Manchester City
and Conor Bradley and Owen
Beck from Liverpool, Shoretire is
certainly in good company – on
and off the pitch.
“It makes me feel a lot more
confident coming here, that I’ve
got people I can relate to,” said the
United youngster.
“It’s the next step being in a men’s
team, but also having people
around my age to talk to off the
pitch and to play alongside and
share the nerves or whatever. It’s
going to be good.”
Shoretire certainly settled in
quickly ahead of his possible first
involvement at Derby County on
Saturday.
Linking up with his new teammates
last Thursday, Ian Evatt’s
men trained at the University of
Bolton Stadium on a frost-free
pitch to prepare for their trip to the
Rams.
Back home tonight to face Forest
Green, Shoretire may get out there
for real and between now and the
end of the season Wanderers’ third
new arrival of the January transfer
window looks likely to have a key
role to play in the Whites’ pursuit of
a top-six finish and of more of his
own early accomplishments.
“For me the club belongs in the
Premier League and hopefully next
season the Championship,” said
Shoretire, a young man looking up
in every way.
“They’re in a very good position
right now to go for promotion. The
team has been winning a lot. I have
been keeping track and it’s just
made me more excited to get here.
“I want to help the team continue
to win and do as much as I possibly
can to help with that.
“It’s the second half of the season,
the last push really and doing
whatever it takes to get as many
wins as possible.”

Wanderers made it two wins in a week against Portsmouth with
a fantastic performance against the managerless side who had
exited the Papa Johns Trophy at the hands of Ian Evatt’s side
just a few days earlier at the University of Bolton Stadium.
A razor-sharp finish from Dion Charles on the quarter hour
mark gave Wanderers the lead after he had controlled Randell
Williams’ cross before beating Josh Oluwayemi from close
range.
Early in the second half, the Whites notched their second goal
of the afternoon. Oluwayemi failed to hold onto Kyle Dempsey’s
cross from the right-hand side and the ball was spilled into the
path of Kieran Lee who hammered a first-time shot into the back
of the net.
Eoin Toal scored the third goal of the afternoon and it capped
a fantastic team move. The ball was cut-back to the Northern
Irishman after a sequence of passes and he made no mistake
in side-footing a shot across Oluwayemi and into the far corner
from the edge of the box.

EFL WEEK OF ACTION 2023
Launched in 2017, the Week of
Action sees Clubs and CCOs from
across the EFL’s three divisions
showcase some of the most
impactful community projects with
managers and players joining
participants across the country.
Over the past week Bolton
Wanderers in the Community
have been proud to showcase
our impact across the Bolton
community. Participation in the EFL
Week of Action is something we
look forward to every year as it
gives us the spotlight to share the
stories of the people that make our
work so special.
The aim for us over the course
of the week has been to provide
an insight into our efforts so
that ultimately we can grow and
expand our reach to those that
need it most. The Week of Action
is a fantastic initiative in this
respect. Participants, players and
staff alike have all voiced their
admiration for this collaborative
effort taking place throughout the
EFL.
Produced by research experts
Substance using data from 2019 to
2022, EFL Clubs are shown to be
responding to the needs of their
communities at an unprecedented
scale with more funding and
investment raised than ever
before (£101m), more partnerships
developed (6,744), larger numbers
of staff and volunteers deployed
(9,922) and more facilities and
in-kind support made available
to local people valued at over
£40.8m! Last season across the
EFL over 840,000 participants
were engaged on Club community
programmes. That’s almost
580,000 hours of community
sessions and events – an 11 per
cent increase on 2018/19!
Rick Parry, Chair of the EFL,
said: “This report provides
substantial evidence that our
Clubs continue to be at the heart
of their communities, bringing lifechanging
opportunities that leave a
lasting impact.
“The need for EFL Clubs to
continue as catalysts for social
change remains, with an increasing
scale of Club community work
delivered since 2019. Financial
sustainability for EFL Clubs is
key to enabling them to continue
as a force for good in their
communities.”
Liam Scully, Chair of the EFL Trust,
said: “We’re immensely proud of
the community support delivered
by EFL Clubs and CCOs and are
thrilled to now be able to put a
social value on this good work. We
look forward to showcasing some
of the most impactful community
projects throughout this year’s

WELLBEING FRONT AND CENTRE.
We are delighted to be hosting
the “It’s Mental” ultimate wellbeing
experience on Friday 3rd
February here at the University
of Bolton Stadium and you have
a chance to win tickets to this
incredible event.
Neil Hart, CEO and myself have
been promoting this event, both
recognising the importance of
looking after our mental health
and well being and how that is
important to all who are involved in
our club, community and town.
The day will have ten different
zones, (Activity Zone, Nutrition
Zone, Physical Health Zone, Sports
Zone, Mindful Zone, Financial
Wellbeing Zone, Workplace
Wellbeing Zone, Givers Gain Zone,
Holistic Health Zone, Self Help
Sessions Zone).
Some of the region’s largest
organisations will be represented
and plan to share how they’ve
tackled mental health challenges
in recent times and the positive
impact these interventions have
had on the workforce. There will
be over 30 holistic treatments
and therapies available including
hypnotherapy, acupuncture,
regression therapy, reflexology,
body massages, reiki healing,
energy and frequency treatments,
EFT Tapping and many more.
The whole concept was brought
about by Stephen Robinson who
tragically lost his brother and
brother-in-law to suicide in the
space of just eighteen months
– the experience, and his own
subsequent mental breakdown,
inspired Stephen to establish It’s
Mental, a tech-powered on-line
community designed to help
people self-manage their mental
and physical wellbeing.
Stephen said: “I’ve been on a
transformational journey since that
terrible eighteen-month period
between 2016 and 2018 and this
feels like the culmination of all the
hard work we’ve put in since we
established It’s Mental in 2019. The
reality is that in the UK there’s a
huge mental health gap and I saw
the opportunity for technology to
increase engagement in the early
stages of Mental Health decline
and prevent people from dropping
into severe depression and even
crisis. This is what we’re trying to
achieve with It’s Mental Live.
“The idea of the Ultimate
Wellbeing Experience is to bring
people together so we can better
understand the state of mental
health in the UK and help educate
them that prevention is better than
cure”.
There will be a host of celebrity
names taking part in the day
including former footballers
Clarke Carlisle, Steven Reid, John
McGinlay and Fabrice Muamba.
Other inspirational figures from
across the region will also be
attending – Manchester bomb
survivor and Pride of Britain winner
Martin Hibbert and Zee Jogi,
the only British Muslim woman
to achieve two Guinness World
Records after climbing both
Kilimanjaro and Everest.
You can win tickets to this event
from Wednesday 25th January,
and we shall be releasing the way
you can do that on our socials
tomorrow.

Unfortunatley it fired up City and

Robinho curling a shot inches wide.

The Wanderers, without a win
since October, dominated City’s
millionaires for long periods of
the game and got off to a great
start when Ivan Klasnic turned in
Chung Yong Lee’s shot after just
11 minutes.
Defensive frailties were to let City
back into it, Craig Bellamy’s cross
was only half cleared and Carlos
Tevez was on hand to smash home
the equaliser in the 28th minute
but both sides were to find the net
a couple of minutes before half

Gary Cahill turned on a throw in

Barclays FA Premier League
Tottenham travelled north having
swept aside Inter Milan in a midweek
European game but they
left battered and bruised as Kevin
Davies and Co swept them aside
in style after surging into a three
goal lead.
Skipper Kevin Davies got things
moving in the 31st minute when
he drilled a left foot drive past
Heurelho Gomes (pictured) but it
wasn’t until the 56th minute that
the lead was increased. Full back
Gretar Steinsson, earmarked to
mark Gareth Bale out of the game,
netted with a shot inside the far
post after being set up by Johan
Elamander.
Wanderers third came from the
penalty spot by Englands newest
international Kevin Davies after
76 minutes, having been awarded
when Chung Yong Lee was barged
over by Benoit Assou-Ekotto, but
things started to get a little tetchy
when Spurs pulled one back
through future Bolton loanee Alan
Hutton just a minute later.
Three minutes from time the
stadium was stunned into silence
when Roman Pavlyuchenko
smashed a volley past
Jaaskelainen for Tottenham’s

time, it became celebration time
when substitute Martin Petrov
ran clear to flick the ball beyond
Gomes to settle the game.

Barclays FA Premier League
The Wanderers recorded their
biggest win at home since
entering the Premier League
and registered their 1000th win
in the top fight, climbing into a
Champions League qualifying
place to boot.
Former skipper Kevin Nolan
returned to a popular reception
and then proceeded to handle
the ball after 18 minutes that saw
Kevin Davies convert the spot
kick. Six minutes from the interval
Matt Taylor struck the bar and
from the proceeding melee Chung
Yong Lee raced in to make it two.
(pictured)
Record signing Johan Elmander
got onto the scoresheet after 50
minutes with his first home goal
of the season but Newcastle kept
their hopes up two minutes later
when Andy Carroll pulled one
back.
Despite the setback Bolton didn’t
waver and kept up the pressure.
Elamander robbed Fabio Coloccini
forty yards from goal and raced
clear to net Wanderers fourth in the
72nd minute, then, three minutes
later the Argentine was red carded
for elbowing as he was again
outgunned by Bolton’s Swede.
In injury time Davies was barged
over by Jose Enrique and the
captain got up to blast home a
fifth for the first time in the League
since the memorable 5-0 win on
the opening day of the 2001/02
season at Leicester City.

NEWS FROM THE
BWFCST
ENGAGEMENT BETWEEN THE TRUST AND THE CLUB
HAS NEVER BEEN BETTER- LET’S BUILD ON THAT.
On 15th January 2023, the trust
celebrated its 7th birthday. Time
passes so quickly and the journey
that the trust has been on since
formation in 2016 has been
eventful to say the least. We were
a Championship club when the
BWFCST was formed and the
last seven years have seen three
relegations and two promotions.
In our early years, the relationship
with the owner was difficult. Since
2019 and exit from administration
under Football Ventures,
engagement between trust and
club has improved year on year.
As evidence of this, there are now
regular scheduled meetings taking
place and we recently posted
on the trust website the minutes
from our latest quarterly meeting
with the club which was held on
6th January and can be view by
using this link www.bwfcst.co.uk/
Trust_Documents/ .
The two main subjects discussed
were the structure and content
of an upcoming club survey of
BWFC supporters and the ongoing
programme of improvements
relating to disabled supporters’
facilities. Please visit the website
and have a read through the notes,
but we also hope that those BWFC
fans that aren’t already BWFCST
members will appreciate the level
of engagement we now have
with the club and will consider
becoming trust members and
joining in with the dialogue.
We are also extending that
invitation to our younger
supporters as your input and
opinions are vitally important. If you
want to find out more about how
to sign up to the trust and to get
involved, please get in touch on
enquiries@bwfcst.co.uk or call into
the Fanzone for a chat before the
game.
As part of the ongoing activities
of the trust, we have our AGM
scheduled for 2nd February and
members will be able to attend
in person and to view online. The
evening will be hosted by Jack
Dearden and our special guest
will be BWFC CEO, Neil Hart.
Registrations details will be sent
out to members over the next
few days. Also, during March and
April, we will be running our annual
elections and this year three of
our board members who have
completed their 2 year period will
stand down. Again, members will
be notified of the details in the very
near future.
We are on a journey and if you
want to play an active part,
please get in touch. If you are not
already a member, you can join be

‘LOVE FOOTBALL. PROTECT THE GAME’
A message about anti-social and criminal behaviour
To mark the new season, we want to
make you aware of new measures
being taken across all of football
to ensure everyone can have a safe
and enjoyable experience. We are
supporting strong action from the
FA, Premier League and EFL to tackle
anti-social and criminal behaviours
that put all of us at risk.
This reflects the seriousness of
the risks to fans and staff – pyros
can burn at 2000 degrees Celsius
and cause lifechanging injuries,
while entering the pitch endangers
players, managers and match
officials.
We know those who commit these
illegal acts do not represent the
majority of supporters.

ON THE COVER
Newest signing Shola
Shoretire, who arrived on loan
from Manchester United last
week, is pictured in the 2009-10
season home kit manufactured
by Reebok whilst standing on
the stairs in the West Stand. To
mark 25 years of football at our
current home, the majority of
programme covers this season
have featured and will feature
a current Wanderers player
in a home kit worn from 1997
onwards, in a different position
in or around the stadium.
