The exercise will involve up to 25 personnel of the Combat Service Support Battalion from Burnham Military Camp. Training will involve soldiers conducting and running a grenade range activity as part of a qualifying course. Grenades will be thrown from 10am - 4pm on 7 <strong>February</strong> 23. The proposal is that once the reserve status has been revoked the land will be transferred at a nil consideration (together with adjoining Council-owned land described as part of Reserve 954 and comprised in Record of Title CB610/5) to the Hororata - - Community Trust a registered charity for restoration and development as part of a community hub in Hororata. - - The war memorial will be honoured by the registration of a covenant protecting the Rolls of Honour in the Hall, and the hall will be further protected as a heritage building under the Proposed <strong>Selwyn</strong> District Plan.
