While most of his clients are men, Jeremy says he does
have a few women who frequent the shop. “We get a few
women who have short hairstyles. Most are career women
who want to look good without spending a lot of time on
their hair.”
Jeremy’s wife, Shanna, helped him with the décor for
J. Gerard’s. “I had the concept, and she added to it. She offers
ideas, and she is someone I can trust. She understands my
ideas.” Shanna owns an online boutique, Poized Lotus.
“I do the photography for her,” says Jeremy. “We bounce
ideas off each other. We’re a good team.”
