Dear business partners, 

HERE IT IS - THE 2 ND VICTOR WORKBOOK FOR THE 2023/2024 SEASON. 

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you once again for the great and successful 

cooperation in 2022 – it was a particularly challenging year for everyone due to the 

much-cited “turn of the times” and the global changes in the procurement of goods! 

We have again put together an attractive range for 2023 – in the textile segment we are 

offering an additional series, alongside an expanded shoe collection and racket range. 

Once again, we have optimised the availability of goods so that we can dispatch your orders 

within 24-hr as usual. 

Nevertheless, we are not immune to the current economic challenges, such as significantly 

increased prices in purchasing, for energy and the import or export of our goods. 

However, we have managed to avoid special price increases and have been able to improve 

the margins for you as our partner once again – the sea freight rates have currently 

stabilised and the current euro/dollar exchange rate means that our prices have only 

had to be marginally adjusted. 

The issue of sustainability is still very high on our agenda. Since 2022, we have completely 

converted our vehicle fleet to e-mobility/hybrid drive, along with making our T-shirts from 

recycled PET bottles, as well as not using PVC covers for our rackets and much more! 

We are particularly proud of our climate certificate (more informations on page 89) for 

our sea transports. The resulting CO2 emissions are offset via the project portfolio of 

KlimaInvest Green Concepts GmbH. 

The year 2023 will be a special one for the VICTOR brand, as we will be celebrating 

our 55th anniversary worldwide. There will be various special series and promotions 

throughout the year.

DRAW LOTS 

Before play commences a coin is tossed and the winning side has the 

choice to either receive serve first or to start play at one side of the 

court or the other. The side losing the toss has the remaining choice. 

SCORING SYSTEM 

A match consists of the two best of three games (if there is no decision 

after the second game) and is won by the fist side to score 21 points. 

The side winning a rally shall add a point to their score. 

A side wins a rally if the opposing side commits a fault or the shuttle is 

no longer considered to be in play because it touches the surface of the 

court inside the opponent’s court. If the score becomes 20-all, the side 

who gains a two point lead first wins the game. If the score becomes 29- 

all, the side scoring the 30th point shall win that game. The side winning 

the set will serve first at the start of the next set. 

CHANGE OF ENDS 

Players change at the end of the first and second sets. If there is to be a 

third set, the players additionally change when the first side reaches 11 

points.

SERVICE 

At a legal serve: 

- The server and the receiver must stand within the diagonally opposite 

service boxes without touching the lines of the service court. 

- The whole shuttle must be below the server’s waist at the point of 

impact with the server’s racket. The waist should be considered to 

be an imaginary line round the body, level with the lowest part of the 

server’s bottom rib. 

- The face of the server’s racket at the point of hitting the shuttle should 

be pointing in a downward direction. 

- The flight of the shuttle should be upwards from the server’s racket to 

pass over the net so that, if not intercepted, it will land in the receiver’s 

service box. 

Serving and receiving courts: The players will serve from, and 

receive in, their respective right service boxes when the server has not 

scored or has scored an even number of points in that game. The server 

will serve from, and receive in, their respective left service boxes when 

the server has scored an odd number of points in that game. 

Scoring and serving: If the server wins a rally, the server shall score 

a point. The server shall then serve again from the other service box. If 

the receiver wins a rally, the receiver shall score a point. The receiver 

will then become the new server.

FAULTS 

When serving, it is considered a fault, when the shuttle: 

- is caught in the net and remains suspended on the top after passing 

over the net, lands outside of the court or is hit by the receiver’s 

partner. 

- During play, it is considered a fault when the shuttle lands outside of 

the court, passes through or under the net, touches any other object or 

person outside the court, is hit twice in succession by the same player, 

touches a player’s racket and does not travel towards the opponents 

court. 

- During play, it is considered a fault when a player: 

touches the net or stands with their racket or clothing, invades an 

opponent’s court under the net, with the racket so that an opponent is 

obstructed or distracted. 

- It is considered a fault if the serve is not executed correctly. 

LETS 

A let shall be called by the umpire, or by a player if there is no umpire, 

to halt play. It is considered a let, if for example: 

the server serves before the receiver is ready, during service, the 

receiver and the server are both faulted, if during play the shuttle 

breaks and the base completely separates from the rest of the shuttle, 

if a line judge is unsighted and the umpire is unable to make a decision. 

When a let occurs, play since the last service shall not count and the 

player who served last shall serve again. 

INTERVALS 

When the first side reaches 11 points there is a break of 60 seconds. 

Between every set there is also a break of 2 minutes in which the 

players are allowed to leave the court.

The light weight frame structure designed exclusively for 6U rackets enhances 

the strength and reduces the weight of the frame simultaneously. 

Three different frame structures are rearranged and 

integrated to optimize the hitting, frame characteristics 

and overall performance. 

Combining the controllability of diamond-shape structure with 

the stability and smooth n ess of sword- shape structure, the 

AERO-DIAMOND frame minimises air-resistance and improves 

handling stability during each game. 

The elliptically-shaped section can decrease air resistance, provide higher 

anti-torque, maximize control and vastly increase the speed of a returning hit. 

The recovery performance enhanced by high modulus material unleashes 

the shaft’s elasticity potential and creates fast rebound. 

This diamond-shaped design cuts through the air like a sword. It significantly 

reduces air resistance and provides a faster swing speed. 

DYNAMIC-SWORD features an inward-cutting frame structure in the 6/12 o’clock direction, 

and an outward-cutting frame structure in the 3/9 o’clock direction, which is designed to 

imitate the aerodynamics of a sword blade cutting through the air, making each swing swift 

and sharp. 

R.T.C. technology, based on scientifically-designed structure and data analysis, 

introduces ”reflection point“ to the frame‘s key spots to maximise the ”rebound“ 

performance, effectively improving both the quality and speed of each swing. 

The Whipping Enhancement System incorporates a softer material in a 

specific part of the shaft near the throat, enhancing racket-head acceleration 

in a “whipping” style which helps to create steeper and quicker attacks with 

satisfying control. 

The innovative carbon fiber layering design has improved the antitorsion performance, 

further making the racket flex faster with better force transmission. 

As a redefinition of „whipping effect“, WES 2.0 allows the players to drive the suttle at 

a sharp downward angle when attacking. 

The smaller angle of twist in the shaft material is the key to an optimal power 

transmission and anti-torsion performance.

Inspired by Helicopter rotor blade technology – the multilayered structure 

made of carbon fibre and composites, minimises material size and 

reinforces handling feel and performance. 

The NANO TEC technology works by evenly distributing nano-sized particles 

in the vacant space between carbon fibre bundles; this increases the 

overall stiffness of the carbon composite fibres and reduces the distortion 

of the frame. 

The integrated force of the shaft and FREECORE creates a sturdy handling 

and phenomenal elasticity. 

CATAPULT STRUCTURE stores power and releases at smashing 

for maximum effect . 

Based on multilayered carbon fibre, the advanced Fibre Reinforced System 

(FRS) not only improves elas ticity, but also offers stable controllability with 

high tension string. 

NANO TUBE has increased much bending force compare with conventional 

graphite. VICTOR imply above feature to offer racket present light & flexible

The compound frame design can be divided into three major parts: The upper section is 

made with a fan-shaped structure to lower wind resistance and accelerate each swing. 

The Compound-Sword structure in the middle section is designed to lighten the filler 

and enable fast rebound. Finally, the lower section is built in aerofoil structure to lower 

wind resistance and keep excellent anti-torsion performance in a “whipping” style 

which helps to create steeper and quicker attacks with satisfying control. 

The adoption of the single-wall carbon nanotube (SWCNT) effectively enhances racket 

intensity, elasticity, and fatigue resistance. The light weight enhanced material enables 

both strength and smooth handling. 

NANO FORTIFY FR carbon fiber is adopted as the material of choice to bring out 

both strength and durability. The high-modulus frame structure allows a better 

control of direction and also makes the racket much more durable. 

Designed by computer simulation and aided with the adoption of injection moulding 

technique, this revolutionized handle style allows the shaft to move more freely, 

which can not only make swings smoother but also improve overall handling 

experience. 

Built on the strengths of the NANO FORTIFY TR, the NANO FORTIFY TR+ is 

engineered with an advanced, more durable carbon-fiber that is firm but offers 

pleasing resilience and feeling. 

A breakthrough from traditional hexagonal frame—different types of frame structures 

are integrated into the upper, middle, and lower parts of the frame based on the racket 

setting to optimize stability and swing smoothness. 

PYROFIL carbon fibre is advanced high-performance and 

ultra light material from Japan. It offers excellent shock 

absorption and enhances handling in every single game.

TECHNOLOGIES SHOES 

VICTOR HYPEREVA is the latest developed midsole technology that focuses 

on resilience and cushioning. It´s well known for incredible softness, shockabsorption, 

rebound performance, and how it makes the shoes both durable 

and lightweight. Badminton shoes built with HYPEREVA can achieve better 

lightweightness, elasticity, and stability than before. 

The three-layered structure enables the Jacquard EM to deliver flexible durability, 

perfect fit, and incredible breathability. The upper layer is soft and low 

stretchable MONO mesh; the bottom layer is soft, light, and breathable mesh. 

The upper and bottom layers are joined perfectly by the PUR gluing technique 

on the middle layer to achieve great softness and breathability. 

Additional to the reliable V-Durable, the inner surface of the 

toe is equipped with protective coatings and a wear-resistant 

layer for enhanced endurance. 

The shock absorbing ENERGYMAX system is well known for 

providing comfortable support during fast movements and 

directional changes. 

The new generation of highly elastic material, increases rebound 

ability and strengthens shock absorption. 

The inner surface of the toe is made of super 

wear-resistant material which greatly improves 

the durability and resilience of the shoe. 

Improves the shock absorption on the heels when striding 

forward. Strengthens the rebound ability of the 

heels during speedy defense. The shock absorbability 

is increased by 27 %, and the bounce power is raised 

by 30 %. 

EVA Feather Resilient not only preserves excellent elasticity, 

but also improves the lightweightness by 20 % compared 

to traditional midsole, helping relieve leg muscle strain and 

making swift movement easier and faster. 

A unique breathing mesh layer on the side of the shoe is used 

to increase ventilation creating a more comfortable environment 

for the feet. 

Highly resilient midsole material is more durable and retains 

its shape better. It not only provides basic stability and shock 

absorption, but also increases flexibility and the reaction time 

while changing direction. 

New, highly resilient and durable midsole. It improves the life-span of shoes, 

reduces weight, increases flexibility and lowers muscle burden during intensive 

exercises, which allows one to make agile movements quickly. 

The outside of the forefoot is designed using high-strength 

TPU. This significantly enhances the lateral stability during 

intense and rapid transfer of direction. 

Joint-friendly combination of ENERGYMAX 3.0 on top and 

light resilient EVA sole beneath by the special biomechanical 

layout of these cushioning layers. 

The drop-in-midsole footbed is made with unique anti-slip foam 

material integrated with midsole, delivering better anti-slip 

performance and elasticity than general insoles. 

With this upgraded outsole rubber, slip-resistant performance 

increases on dry PU floor.
