special interview, she is going to be at

question for her.
1-Tell us where you are from and why you
took the decision to start this business?
Answer, hello aim from Mexico of
Veracruz and I made the decision,
because I am a person who dreams, I
wanted to have a better opportunity for
my children and to able to succeeded in
this country and improve myself and I do
taxes, I always liked mathematics,
although my dream was to be a lawyer,
but I couldn’t do it because the
government doesn’t allow me, because
I’m not an American citizen, so the
country is giving me another
opportunity to study, and I studied
accounting, because I like numbers.
I went through many situations before
and I wanted to help people, speaking
my language, and informing others, at
the age of 23 I went to where they
prepared taxes, I asked for information,
listening to them was a fear for them, and
there is nothing to fear; now I can work in
their companies, and I can help them.
Adris, I congratulate you on your business,
and also have great charisma.
2-We know that issue it is important to file
taxes, tickets, fines, and sometimes people
let taxes go unnoticed, because they do not
have an in migration status in this country,
and how you are more prepared, I would like

types of clients in your business, which

Selem, for me 90% of my clients are
Hispanic, 10% are American, Hispanic the
Mexico, Honduras, Guatemala, Chileans,
Argentines, from all over the world, and I
have many construction clients.

you’ve gotten ahead with your children, I

1-why do make the decision to start a food
business?
Answers, first i want to thank you Adriana
for me it is an honor to be part of the
magazine and to help us all
entrepreneurs and get a head.
Really starting a food business was never
in my mind, it would be an opportunity for
me, as a distributor of Latino products in
Miami and due to the work i did some
years ago, they made me a proposal to
expand the business to the city of
Houston, and take care of the distribution
of products in Texas, I come from the
world of liquors, I adapt to the
opportunity that is presented Adris, those
are excellent, how was that change for
you? If of course when i worked with
liquors, for example the liquor has no
expiration date, and i star working with
food where you must keep track of the
expiration date, quality of products, try to
rotate the merchandise that comes and
goes it cost me quite a bit to adapt, but
accept it and now I’m fascinated doing
the business with food.
Adris ask, tell us what kind of market you
want to take your business to.
Victor answer, the nature of our business
is distribution, always try to be present in
every place in the city, supermarkets,
grocery store in Katy focused on the
Venezuelan community, we currently
handle retail and wholesale, but tour
main objective is mass distribution to all
those points of sale, where people get our
products, the loss Andes food.
Adris, what kind of products do you
handle a variety of cheeses, cachafas,
Manduca’s, which are purely from
Venezuela, we handle the precooked
arepas in the Colombian style, mecate,
candies and sweets.

I am in dance academy Jaramillo’s Latin
Dance , owner and and enterprising , for
me,it is a pleasure interview him.
Adriana. Tell us where were you born and
where did the love for dancing arise?
Cesar, hello Adriana, thank you for the
invitation, I am from Medellin Colombia,
I am 46 years old and my dance art
started when I was 12 years old in the
San Jose de Envigado neighborhood,
where I used to live with a group of
Friends, creating choreographies and
dances on Saturdays in the afternoon, we
began to spread through a performance
before the mayor’s candidates; they liked
it then they supported us by a dance
tutor girl in order to instruct us in a
professional way, I started to dance with
her, I knew that she had appeared on a
video dancing “que te pasa lupita” song
alongside Fruko y sus tesos. I won a grant
for the culture house of Envigado, where
I learned several fields of art, dance,
music, culinary, modeling but I chose the
dance in order to improve my skills up to
I had the opportunity of coming to the
United States.
Adriana. How long do you have of being
in the United States Cesar.
Cesar . I came to Greenville SC when I was
23 years old here, where a cousin of mine
had a dance group , they did not swag but
they did feel like dancing, For this reason I
stayed , I did not know anybody ;in the
course of time ,I was meeting managers
then I started to work as dance tutor
;reason which gives cause for we were
invited to 96’s Olympic games in atlanta
and Jacksonville and all Greenville SC
festivals.

The group was disbanded by university
reasons and I went on performing
choreographies in an individual way by
means of acquaintances used to hire me on
15’s parties o beauty contest.
Adriana. What is your academy like . Cesar?
Cesar. In Greenville Sc is the only academy
started training Bachata , Salsa,merengue
, tango Hip hop , The academy used to have
two dance tutors during the pandemic one
of them stayed and we trained as dancer
and choreographer now she is a trainer and
my daughter.Casandra who leads kids are
begining the dance art,also she does
contemporary jazz and hip hop I lead the
social part , dancers’ choreographies that
are performed in festivals.
Cesar. It affected us 30 % as for training , we
already had 90 apprentices ,a lot of
commitments to the local universities and
festivals of Colombia which could not turno
out right .Actually we are offering private
clases to people who do not to be close to
others and some people comes to academy
carrying biosafety regulations out.
Adriana Congratulations ,it is terrific what
you make for this Project.

Adriana AH: why did you decide to have a
cake business?
Adriana Aguirre. Primero que todo gracias,
Adri por estar aquí. Me alegra y es muy
emocionante.
I made the decision at a very young age, i did
it my children when they were Young, with
the responsibility of raising theam.as a single
mother, between those I wanted to prepare
myself. Finding myself in need when i was
alone in 1998, i started again, I had the
opportunity to work in a bakery, I learned the
detailed decoration of cakes, and I discovered
the ability to develop what I wanted.
When the pandemic arrived, i had to stay at
home producing few cakes, because i turned
to my friends, which i have many, and there
was the opportunity to offer them the new
line, instead of the cakes loaded with sugar
for a sugar free and gluten freeline, plus the
third line of cakes for dogs and cats. Tah has
made production go up.
Adris, that sounds excellent, I congratulate
you. and to ask your husband a question. Mr.
Leonel, tell us how you have contributed to
your wife’s vision of your business?
Leonel: i have been in the middle of the
business and the company for many years, I
saw in her the talent and ability to make
cakes, desserts, and culinary products,
including gourmet meals, already know in
parties and ceremonies, therefore, her
business has gone ahead successfully, from
here comes my support the maintain her
leadership, and my wife is an example for
other women.
Adris: you must feel very blessed to have a
husband who supports you and loves you so
much.
How you inspire other women?
Adriana Aguirre: love is power, we cannot
have limits. Doing a business takes time and
money, this would be the motivation to start
any kind of independent business.

I am Venezuelan, I have been here for 1
year and 8 months; I arrived here
pregnant and with a 3 year old girl at my
parents' house.
For many years we have had a goldsmith
workshop in Venezuela where we design
all kinds of charms as a hobby. When we
arrived in the United States we decided to
take it seriously and turn it into a

create Venezuelan accessories with the
Venezuelan flag, then it grew and the
clients gave me samples, and it grew
quickly; now we have a lot of variety and

This has been my peace of mind, when
I'm sad I start to create, it's an inspiration
for me.

Paola: At the moment we are making the
website, although we don't have an exact
date for the inauguration. We are doing all

also the American market.
