A global leader in performance eyewear,
Briko’s Spring/Summer 2023 collection
continues to push the boundaries of
design while reflecting the Italian brand’s
extensive heritage. This seasonal release
features four exclusive silhouettes that
were conceived as an elevated version of
Briko’s timeless archival pieces, updated by
fusing hind-end technological research with
RETROSUPERFUTURE’s distinctive approach
to design. Each of the four silhouettes is
characterized by performance features,
marked by lightness, protection and topquality
materials. Designed to appeal to
modern users interested in an active urban
lifestyle, these sunglasses bring performance
to contemporary style through a careful use
of colors, material qualities and unexpected
detailing.
Founded in 1985 by the technical staff of
the Italian Alpine skiing team, who aimed
to improve their athletes’ performance in
competition, in its nearly four-decade long
history, Briko has established itself as one
of the most sophisticated manufacturers
of technical sports eyewear, known for its
partnerships with some of the biggest names
in cycling and Alpine skiing. Its innovative
products have won acclaim and positioned
Briko as a global success story in the world
of competitive sports. Briko’s sophisticated
design research resulted in the creation of
Thrama technology that filters light so as
to enable in maximum performance, while
its Detector shape was also rewarded with
Compasso D’Oro, the highest accolade in
Italian product design.

Expanding beyond the world of competitive
sports, Briko has tailored its newly updated
line to a wider array of audiences who are
passionate about an active lifestyle and look
for both performance quality and a modern
aesthetics. This season’s release features
four shapes – Starlight, Antares, Mizar and
Daintree – each characterized by sharp
geometric features and technical detailing,
such as rubberised grips, ventilation slits and
streamlined temples.
Antares is an angular shape characterized
by two wrap-around lenses for a well-fitting
silhouette. Its sleek temples match the sharp
and angular rims, created for lightness
and comfort in use. Daintree, on the other
hand, features a shield-like front, marked
by carefully sculpted rims and protective
lenses. Designed to be worn either for biking
or skiing, these glasses fit perfectly with all
types of helmets, ensuring comfort in use.
Mizar, on the other hand, is a shape designed
to emphasize lightness and visibility even in
the most arduous terrain conditions. With
a top-mounted frame, this is a sleek and
streamlined shape. Starlight, the final shape
in this collection, was conceived as an ultralightweight
yet oversized piece, offering
perfect coverage without compromising
comfort in extended use.
All models come in a selection of exceptional
colors, matched with high-end lens finishes:
from sleek black with mirrored gray lenses to
bold green, red and blue tones designed to
shield from both winter and summer glares.
