We raise money for charitable projects
supporting women and children in Moldova.
We also try to be sensitive about major crises
and respond if we can. For example, in the
COVID-19 pandemic we joined a civic movement
in Moldova to help hospital staff with protection
sets, food and oxygen supply. In the recent
refugee crisis we channel our support into
refugee centers. And more recently, we
answered the call of the Turkish Embassy and
bought heaters for earthquake victims.
Tell us a little about your city and Moldova
in general.
Chisinau is a green and beautiful city to visit,
and to live and work in with lovely and friendly
people. There are a lot of museums, theatres,
concert halls, restaurants and coffee shops with
nice entertainment options, affordable and very
delicious food. There are a lot of local festivals
like Descopera, wine festival, and Ia Mania that
value national dress, culture and traditions,
history, and the wine and food of Moldova.
Moldava produces some of the best red wine
in the world. In 2022, the emblematic red blend
Negre by Fautor Winery was awarded the prize
as the best red wine in the world at one of
the most prestigious international wine
competitions – “Concours Mondial de Bruxelles”,
during the “Red & White” Session. The country
has a lot more to be discovered and enjoyed at a
relaxed pace, with hospitable hosts and
adventurous local guides. Cricova underground
wine city with its numerous culture events is the
number one tourist attraction in Moldova.
