Chemex is the perfect method for making coffee for every occasion. It is not a new invention,
but a method of making coffee that has been in use since 1941. Chemex was developed
in the laboratory of German chemists.

Also known as Melior. The coffee infusion obtained with the French press is tailor-made
for you: its variety allows you to obtain coffees of different intensities, depending on the
infusion time. Because it is comfortable, practical and easy to use, the French press is ideal
for entering the world of speciality coffee.
V60 3,80
V60 is a popular coffee brewing method that originated in Japan. It is a manual method that
allows precise control over the brewing process. V60 uses a special container with a conical
filter that allows the coffee to be extracted evenly. The process involves manually pouring
hot water over the ground coffee which is placed in the filter. This method produces a distinctly
tasty and aromatic coffee which can be customised according to preference in terms
of grinding method, water temperature and extraction time.

PUP. AND BEING THIS CURIOUS, KOKO DECIDED THIS
TIME HE’D LIKE TO TRAVEL BACK IN TIME. BUT THIS
ISN’T SOMETHING THAT COMES EASILY. KOKO SITS
DOWN AND THINKS HARD ABOUT ALL THE THINGS HE
NEEDS TO BE ABLE TO GO BACK IN TIME. AND WHAT
IS IT THAT HE NEEDS?

A TIME MACHINE, OF COURSE! KOKO IMMEDIATELY
SETS OFF TO FIND A TIME MACHINE THAT WILL TAKE
HIM BACK IN TIME. KOKO DRIVES AROUND LOOKING
FOR A PLACE TO FIND A TIME MACHINE.
HE DRIVES TO THE LEFT, HE DRIVES TO THE RIGHT,
BUT A TIME MACHINE IS NOWHERE TO BE FOUND.
SEVERAL HOURS HAVE PASSED AND KOKO IS
GETTING SAD BECAUSE HE STILL HASN’T FOUND HIS
TIME MACHINE. AND THEN, A MIRACLE! BEHIND A ROCK
ON THE LEFT-HAND BEND, SOMETHING GLITTERS.
KOKO GOES CAUTIOUSLY TO SEE WHAT IT COULD BE,
AND BEHOLD: A TIME MACHINE!

KOKO ENTERS THE MACHINE VERY CAREFULLY. THE
LIGHTS FLASH, THE BUTTONS GLOW, THE COLOURS OF
THE MACHINE CHANGE. KOKO ENTERS THE YEAR 480 BC
ON THE KEYBOARD AND PRESSES ENTER.
THE MACHINE STARTS TO RUMBLE, SMOKE IS COMING
FROM ALL SIDES. KOKO CLOSES HIS EYES AND THE NEXT
TIME HE OPENS THEM, HE SEES THE ANCIENT GREEK
GODDESS OF WISDOM, ATHENA, AND THE ANCIENT
GREEK GOD OF THE SEA, POSEIDON. THEY ARE IN A
FIGHT! CAN YOU IMAGINE! KOKO HAS BARELY STEPPED
BACK IN TIME, AND HE IS ALREADY WITNESSING A CLASH
OF GREEK GODS. POSEIDON CHASES ATHENA AWAY AND
SHE ESCAPES. ATHENA FLEES, POSEIDON PURSUES, AND
KOKO FOLLOWS. KOKO NOTICES THAT ATHENA HAS LOST
HER SHIELD DURING THE FIGHT.

NOW WHAT? KOKO DECIDES TO LOOK FOR ATHENA’S
SHIELD. HE GOES BACK THE SAME WAY SHE WAS
CHASED AND SEES SOMETHING INTERESTING LYING
IN THE SEA NOT FAR AWAY. IT’S ATHENA’S SHIELD!
BUT THE SHIELD IS TURNING INTO ROCK. “THIS MUST
BE ZEUS’ DOING,” KOKO THINKS, AND HE IS RIGHT.
ZEUS HAS TURNED ATHENA’S SHIELD INTO AN ISLAND
IN THE MIDDLE OF THE SEA. WHEN KOKO LOOKS
A LITTLE CLOSER, HE NOTICES A FAMILIAR SHAPE.
THE ISLAND THAT ATHENA’S SHIELD WAS TURNED TO
LOOKS VERY FAMILIAR TO HIM. INDEED! IT’S KOPER!
KOKO HAS JUST WITNESSED A LIVE RENDITION OF
THE LEGEND OF THE CREATION OF THE ISLAND OF
KOPER! IMAGINE THAT! AND ON HIS VERY FIRST TRIP
IN A TIME MACHINE TOO!

KOKO RETURNS TO THE MACHINE AND ENTERS A
NEW YEAR. 150 YEARS BC. THE MACHINE FUMES UP
AGAIN, KOKO OPENS HIS EYES AND WAKES UP ON
AN ISLAND. THE ISLAND IS FULL OF GOATS GRAZING
EVERYWHERE.
IN THE DISTANCE, HE SEES SOME PEOPLE. THEY ARE
DRESSED LIKE ANCIENT ROMANS, AND THEY TALK
LIKE ANCIENT ROMANS TOO.
WAIT, THEY ARE ROMANS, IN THE FLESH! KOKO IS
EXCITED ABOUT HIS NEW TRIP WITH THE TIME
MACHINE. HE GOES TO MINGLE WITH THE LOCALS
TO GET SOME INFORMATION ABOUT THE ISLAND.
KOKO LEARNS THAT THE ISLAND IS NOW CALLED
CAPRITANA INSULA, OR “GOAT ISLAND”. THEY ALSO
CALLED IT CAPRIS. HMMM, CAPRIS? THAT WORD IS
VERY FAMILIAR TO KOKO.

WHEN HE LOOKS A LITTLE CLOSER, HE REALISES THAT
HE IS ON THE SAME ISLAND WHERE HE ENDED HIS
PREVIOUS TRIP, JUST A FEW HUNDRED YEARS LATER.
THIS IS HOW KOKO DISCOVERS WHAT HAPPENED TO
THE ISLAND OF KOPER DURING THE ROMAN EMPIRE.
AND WITH THAT, HE HAS COMPLETED ANOTHER
JOURNEY INTO THE PAST.

KOKO IS NOW BACK IN THE TIME MACHINE CAPSULE
AND WONDERING WHICH YEAR TO ENTER ON THE
SCREEN. HE KEEPS THINKING, HARD. HE DECIDES TO
GO BACK TO EXACTLY 1500 YEARS AGO, SO HE ENTERS
THE YEAR 524. SMOKE, FLASH, BOOM! AND KOKO IS
BACK. WHERE IS HE?
HE’S BACK ON THE ISLAND OF CAPRIS, OF
COURSE! OH MY, WHAT’S GOING ON? EVERYONE IS
GATHERED ON THE SHORE, LOOKING OUT TO SEA.
THEY ARE LOUD WITH AMAZEMENT. SURE ENOUGH,
KOKO RUSHES TOWARDS THE PIER AT THE SPEED OF
LIGHT AND SEES HIM! ST. NAZARIUS, WALKING RIGHT
ON THE WATER TOWARDS THE PIER. THEY ARE ALL
ASTONISHED. THERE’S A SHIMMERING TRAIL ON THE
SEA SURFACE BEHIND HIM.

IT’S A MIRACLE! KOKO IS THRILLED TO BE WITNESSING A
MIRACLE AND AT THE SAME TIME THE APPOINTMENT OF
THE FIRST BISHOP ON THIS ISLAND. INDEED! WANT TO
KNOW WHAT THE ISLAND LOOKS LIKE NOW? IT IS MUCH
MORE POPULATED THAN IT WAS IN ROMAN TIMES.
IT ALMOST LOOKS LIKE A CITY.

WAS ST. NAZARIUS WHO BECAME THE BISHOP, THE ONE
WHO WALKED FROM BORŠT TO KOPER.
THAT LAST PART OF THE WAY ON THE SEA SURFACE
OF ALL PLACES. AMAZING, ISN’T IT? IF YOU DON’T BE-
LIEVE IT, ASK KOKO, HE SAW IT WITH HIS OWN EYES.
BUT WHERE IS KOKO NOW? AMONG THE LOCALS, OF
COURSE! HE IS TRYING TO FIND OUT WHAT THE NAME
OF THIS PLACE, THIS ISLAND IS NOW. HE LEARNS FROM
THE OLDER
LOCALS THAT THE ISLAND IS CALLED CAPRAE OR INSU-
LA CAPRITANA. AND FROM THE YOUNGER ONES, THAT
THE TOWN ON THE ISLAND IS NAMED JUSTINOPOLIS,
AFTER THE THEN BYZANTINE EMPEROR JUSTIN II.

AND HE WAS CRAZY LUCKY, BECAUSE HE WITNESSED

THAT HE’S HAD ENOUGH OF TRAVELLING TO THE
PAST FOR TODAY. HE MIGHT GO BACK TO THE TIME

STORIES FROM THE PAST.
BUT FOR SURE, THIS YEAR, LIKE YOU,
HE IS CELEBRATING THE 1500TH ANNIVERSARY OF
THE CITY OF KOPER. SO IF YOU SEE HIM AROUND, DO
