Welcome
You know that summer has arrived when
you look out over the glorious grounds
of Hole Park and see our wonderful white
marquees, festooned with bunting fluttering
in the breeze. It’s a time to relax, spend
quality time with those you love and laugh
with, and do some shopping for the season
ahead. The perfect time to update your
wardrobe and shop for your summer holidays
and to buy flowers, planters, and maybe some
new furniture for your garden too.
Since we last saw you, we’ve been busy
finding new exhibitors with beautifully
designed, made, or curated clothes, jewellery,
beauty, homeware, gifts, food, drink, and
everything you could possibly want to turn
your garden into a haven for hosting friends
and family. In fact, this year we have more
new stallholders than ever before, and we
can’t wait to introduce them to you.
To sustain you whilst you shop, we have
some of the best coffee you’ll ever taste
and then waiting for you – winking at
you – amongst our village of street food
vendors will be a refreshing glass of Pimm’s, a
delicious G&T, or a celebratory glass of fizz.
If there’s anything we can do to make
your day even better, please just ask any of
us and our team of helpers dressed in pink.

Head to the Deck Chair Zone where
on Thursday and Friday you can find
live performances from local school
choirs and on Saturday you can enjoy
Cranbrook Town Band who will be
playing a selection of well-known songs
with their signature brass band twist.

perfect mix of exhibitors to ensure there’s
something for everyone. Browse the marquees,
shopping avenues and countless gazebos and
meet the people behind the brands to find
special pieces you’d struggle to find on the
high street. From fabulous fashion to inspiring

Delicious street food
After a busy day shopping, head to the
Bloom Stays Garden Room and treat
yourself to a delicious coffee and slice
of cake, make your way down to the street

Fair a great shopping day out
food area for a tasty lunch or sit down
with friends and enjoy a glass of bubbles
whilst taking in the views of the beautiful
hills and farmland.
Live entertainment
Take a break from all the browsing and
shopping at the Deck Chair Zone. On
Thursday and Friday you’ll be treated
to songs performed by local school
choirs and on Saturday we’ll be joined
by Cranbrook Town Band playing
well-known tunes to add to the English
summer day vibes.
Four-legged friends
Here at Wealden Times, we love our
four-legged friends and it just wouldn’t
be the Midsummer Fair without them.
Well-behaved dogs on leads are permitted
(even encouraged) and if you’re lucky your
pooch may be papped and end up in the
July issue of the mag!
