DC Ranch Gives:
School Supply Drive

DC Ranch Gives is collecting school
supplies to support Boys & Girls
Club of Greater Scottsdale. Help
local students with a donation of:
Notebooks, binders, backpacks,
crayons, markers, pencils and pens,
college-ruled paper, glue sticks and
bottles, tissues and hand sanitizer.
CPR Certification Class
Saturday, June 3 | 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Desert Camp
Ages 18+ | $34
This CPR course will train individuals
to overcome reluctance to act
in emergency situations and
to recognize and care for lifethreatening
respiratory or cardiac
emergencies in children or adults.
The class will cover adult, child and
infant CPR, the use of an Automated
External Defibrillator (AED), and first
aid for choking. Please wear loose,
comfortable clothing.
Women’s Club:
Hope Happy Hour
Thursday, June 8 | 6 to 7:30 p.m.
Desert Camp
Ages 21+ | RSVP
Join a special happy hour to give
back and learn about Hope Women’s
Center. Hope’s mission is to engage,
encourage, and equip women and
teen girls facing any difficult life
situation. Items for donation will be
collected during the event; view a list
of most needed items on DCRanch.

Wet n’ Wild Wednesdays
Every Wednesday in June and July
10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Splash into fun every Wednesday
throughout June and July at
the Desert Camp pool! Enjoy familyfriendly
tunes and games. Light

Comedy Night

Enjoy some laughs with
neighbors and funnyman Bob
Zany. Described as one of the
most sarcastic comedians,
Zany has made appearances on
television, the movie screen, and
radio shows during his 35+ year
career. Light bites, beer and wine

Celebrate summer with fun
activities under the mist on the
patio! This month, create custom
tie dye and ice cream floats in
honor of National Root Beer Day.
Please bring a T-shirt, pillow case,
bag, socks or anything white
for the tie dye project. All other
supplies provided.

towel, chair or a favorite pool float.

Stretching Class

Musical Instrument Museum

Meet at the Musical Instrument
Museum (MIM) for a tour of
8,000 instruments from around
the world. The newest exhibition,
Rediscover Treasures: Legendary
Musical Instruments, highlights
key moments in music history—
including the Erard grand piano,
Amati violin, ancient Mesopotamian
lyre fragments, and Jimi Hendrix’s
Black Widow electric guitar.

obstacle course, games, crafts and
snacks. Children must attend with a

Join other residents for a fun, friendly
game. This variation of Canasta is
easy to learn and the group will
teach you along the way.
Pickleball Club

Fridays and Sundays | 6 to 9 a.m.
Desert Camp Courts
Try your hand at a friendly
game of pickleball. All levels are
welcome. Please bring a paddle if
you have one.
All Levels Yoga
Monday and Wednesday | 9 to 10 a.m.
The Homestead
This class is suitable for all levels of
yoga practice. Teachers focus on
alignment and breathing techniques to
safely stretch and strengthen students.
Please bring a yoga mat, towel and

Strength and Balance
Monday and Wednesday
10:30 to 11:30 a.m.
The Homestead
This all-levels class is designed for
strengthening and lengthening your
muscles, focusing on core and balance
to give an all-around workout. Please
bring a mat or towel and water bottle.
Yoga Basics
Tuesday and Thursday | 9 to 10 a.m.
The Homestead
Designed for the beginner, this class
focuses on stretching the larger
muscle groups, helping improve
flexibility and decreasing risk for injury.
Please bring a yoga mat and water

Aqua Fitness
Wednesday and Friday | 9 to 10 a.m.
Desert Camp Pool
Water fitness is an excellent way to
get a low-impact cardio workout while
toning and strengthening muscles.
Come join in the fun and go at your

would like to invite a guest. Please
contact the program coordinator
listed on the calendar or registration
page to make this request. There are
many factors such as space, capacity,
food, beverage, etc. that the program
coordinator must consider for each
program and may not always be able
to accommodate the request.
